Steel manufacturers in the Korean steel reinforcement market are facing increasing competition. Construction businesses are in a recession because demands have decreased, too many facilities have been built, and more imported materials are coming from Japan and China. Korean steel manufacturers focus on domestic sales as a result of these difficulties in the business environment. To overcome these difficulties, manufacturers must find strategies for producing high value products, minimizing distribution expenses, and reducing costs. However, such temporary expedients are insufficient. Accordingly, our study investigating steel manufacturer salespersons and agents that purchase supplies uncovered suggestions for remaining competitive. First, companies must outdo their competitors by offering more competitive prices. Second, they must be ahead of their competitors in announcing their prices. Companies can present their expected selling prices by analyzing their manufacturing costs, future market unit costs, and distribution unit costs of the present market. If they select prices for products they will sell in the next month, the data indicate that they can still expect to make profits. The lowest selling price is calculated by analyzing the manufacturing costs. By setting prices more rapidly than competitors, manufacturers should increase their market share by increasing sales volume.
Development of Practical Microneedle Patch for Tuberculosis Vaccine

Purpose Existing Tuberculosis vaccines are mainly injected through various routes using syringes. However, due to various limitations such as administration by medical personnel, concerns about infection by syringes, and the need for refrigeration, the development of new administration Methods are being requested. Microneedle is a new formulation developed to overcome the disadvantages of existing syringes such as pain, trauma, infection, and rejection. When a vaccine is delivered using a microneedle, the vaccine can be delivered effectively with a low level of pain and has the advantage that the patient can apply it himself without the help of professional medical personnel. It aims to develop an inoculation method that can induce an more effective immune response than intradermal injection. Methods Increased ease of use and safety by developing a single-dose tuberculosis vaccine patch for each individual from the existing 10 dose vial inoculation by dispensing. Build a production platform that can respond quickly by applying high-speed coating technology capable of mass production. Results To evaluate the strain, the strain of BCG used was confirmed through genetic characterization and PCR. Microneedle patches each coated with concentrated BCG bacteria and 7H9 media were produced. The microneedle coated with BCG and 7H9 media was again immersed in PBS to dissolve the coated material, and inoculated into 7H11 agar medium. The inoculated agar medium was cultured at 37°C for 2 weeks, and the number of viable cells was confirmed. Conclusion If the layered coating technology proposed in this study is applied, it is judged that it will be possible to develop a tuberculosis vaccine patch coated with a sufficient inoculation amount. In the case of microneedle technology, it is easy to apply to infants and toddlers because it can deliver vaccines while minimizing pain, and there is no concern about syringe infection and waste disposal.
Performance Optimization Study of FinFETs Considering Parasitic Capacitance and Resistance

Recently, the first generation of mass production of FinFET-based microprocessors has begun, and scaling of FinFET transistors is ongoing. Traditional capacitance and resistance models cannot be applied to nonplanar-gate transistors like FinFETs. Although scaling of nanoscale FinFETs may alleviate electrostatic limitations, parasitic capacitances and resistances increase owing to the increasing proximity of the source/drain (S/D) region and metal contact. In this paper, we develop analytical models of parasitic components of FinFETs that employ the raised source/drain structure and metal contact. The accuracy of the proposed model is verified with the results of a 3-D field solver, Raphael. We also investigate the effects of layout changes on the parasitic components and the current-gain cutoff frequency (fT). The optimal FinFET layout design for RF performance is predicted using the proposed analytical models. The proposed analytical model can be implemented as a compact model for accurate circuit simulations.
Recovery of Iron Reactivity for Removal of Cr(Ⅵ) Using Iron-Reducing Consortium

Iron particles, oxidized by Cr(Ⅵ), were not effective for additional Cr(Ⅵ) removal, but the removal rates of Cr(Ⅵ) dramatically increased when iron-reducing consortium were added to the oxidized iron. The elevated removal rate was even greater than that for iron particles. Addition of iron-reducing consortium to the oxidized iron generated ferrous ions, indicating recovery in the reactivity of iron particles as the ferrous ions could reduce additional hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium, which is less toxic and immobile compared to hexavalent chromium. The iron-reducing consortium itself could also remove hexavalent chromium via reduction reaction as modest amount of Bacillus sp., which are known hexavalent chromium-reducing bacteria, were found. Combined effects of bacillus sp. and ferrous ions accelerated the removal rate of Cr(Ⅵ). Waste leaves were used as alternative substrate in this research and they supported the activity of iron-reducing consortium in the presence of the oxidized iron. Although the activity of iron-reducing consortium supported by waste leaves was lower (approximately one order of magnitude) than that supported by nutrients, the removal rate of Cr(Ⅵ) was sufficiently high indicating waste leaves could be used as a nutrient source for iron-reducing consortium.
