From August 2 to 3 in 2017. Koran Arachnological Study members investigated the Spiders in the whole area Incheon Namdong-gu, and reported 14 Families, 38 Genus 50 Species of spiders. The collected spiders are placed (stored) in the Joo-Pil Spider museum.

2016년 8월 3일부터 5일까지 제주특별자치도 서귀포시 대정읍 마라도 일대를 한국거미연구회 하계 합동채집회에 김주필, 예용택, 최한석, 장지현, 예성훈, 김태우, 김대희, 지승환, 이형민, 이형진, 신정애, 허양미, 이영경, 최라미, 이윤정 등이 채집조사한 결과 15과, 39속, 45종의 거미류가 조사연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. The authors investigated the spiders of the Mara Island in Jeju Island. In the present paper 45 species of 39 genera belong to 15 families were identified. These specimens are deposited at the Joo-Pil Spider Museum, Namyangju-Si, Kyunggi-Do.

2015년 8월 3일부터 5일까지 한국거미연구회 회원들은 강원도 삼척시 육백산을 채집 조사한 결과 22과 49속 63종이 채집 조사되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. The authors investigated the spiders of the Mt. Yukbaek from August 3th to August 5th, 2015. In the present paper 63 species of 49 genera belong to 22 families were identified. These specimens are deposited at the Joo-Pil Spider Museum, Namyangju-Si, Gyeonggi-Do.

저자들은 외형상 여성으로써 원발성 무월경과 양측 외음부 종양 촉지를 주소로 입원한 complete testicular feminization syncrome 1례를 경험하였기에 이를 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다 The 46, XY individual with complete testicular feminization syndrome is a phenotypic female who is usually somewhat tall, has excellent breast development and presents to the gynecologist because of primary amenorrhea and an inguinal mass. In complete testicular feminization syndrome, axillary and pubic hair are sparse or absent and some degree of virilization such as clitorial hypertrophy, partial labioscrotal fusion and hirsutism doesn't occur at puberty. We report a case of complete testicular feminization syndrome with the brief review of literatures.

The authors in this manuscript aimed to provide a practical importance of the differential diagnosis of intracranial brain tumor with emphasis on non-neoplastic abnormalities such as cytotoxic edema of the penumbra zone in strokes. The well known SOLs are cerebral ischemic, inflammatory and dysplastic lesions, which intraaxially imitate glioma and other neurogenic tumors. Brain tumor is the one of common intracranial space-occupying lesions (SOLs) on the diagnostic images. However, many non-neoplastic lesions may be indistinguishable from tumors. Especially, early mortality used to be caused by space-occupying hyperacute ischemic stroke, brain edema and herniations. For the retrospective analysis, the authors reviewed the patient charts, the emergency brain Computerized Tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), clinical stroke history. From Jan. 2003 to Dec. 2003, we managed total 61 acute strokes in ICU. Even though we operated six decompressive craniotomies, nine stereotactic craniotomies including two procedures of brain biopsy and three extraventricular drainage procedures, three patients (4.91%) were finally expired out from the induced herniation and medullary failure by those aggressive strokes. 43 patients (70.5%) were recovered good from stroke attack. 15 patients (24.6%) were improved with residual neurologic deficits. In conclusion, aside from growing efforts of the radiologist to make the early diagnostic impression, the authors suggest that urgent neurosurgical explorations with the pathologic diagnostic decision should be requested to decrease the fatality.

2014년 10월 2일부터 4일까지 강원도 양양군 하조대 일대를 한국거미연구회 회원(김주필, 예용택, 신정애, 예성훈, 성민규, 이정준, 채준호)들이 조사 연구한 결과 11과 18속 20종이 채집되었기에 이에 보고하는 바이다. The authors investigated the spiders of the Hajodae beach (Gangwon-Do, Yangyang-Gun). In the present paper 20 species of 18 genera belong to 11 families were identified. These specimens are deposited at the Joo-Pil Spider Museum, Namyangju-Si, Gyeonggi-Do.

2014년 8월 5일부터 7일까지 경상남도 창녕군 일대에 위치한 대한민국 최대의 내륙 습지인 우포늪 일대를 한국거미연구회 회원(김주필, 예용택, 장지현, 오종화, 예성훈, 유혜성, 채준호, 김태우, 김민섭, 변진관, 성민규, 김지후, 김대희, 김녕, 이정준, 이형민 등 16명)들이 채집 조사한 결과 16과 48속 69종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. The authors investigated the spiders of the Upo wetland from 5th August to 7th August, 2014. In the present paper 69 species of 48 genera belong to 16 families were identified. These specimens are deposited at the Joo-Pil Spider Museum, Namyangju-Si, Kyunggi-Do.

人蔘엑기스가 微生物 發育에 미치는 影響을 調査하기 위해Erwinia carotovora, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp, Shigella spp와 같은 여러가지 菌株를 使用하여 人蔘엑기스의 添加濃度와 一定時間別로 細菌의 生長發育狀態를 調査하여 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 1. Erwina carotovora는 人蔘엑기스가 1% 添加된 群에서 24時間까지 持續的인 增殖을 보였으나, 1%미만의 人蔘엑기스 添加群에서는 培養 18時間後에는 增殖이 靜止된 狀態를 나타냈다. 2. Staphylocococcus aureus는 人蔘엑기스의 添加量이 增加함에 따라 24時間까지 持續的으로 菌의增殖이 促進되었다. 3. Escherichia coli는 人蔘엑기스 添加濃度 1%群에서 현저히 增殖되었으나, 1%미만의 人蔘엑기스 添加群은 대조군과 비슷한 증식을 보였다. 4. Salmonella paratyphi A와 Salmonella paratyphi C및 Salmonella typhi는 人蔘엑기스 添加群添加群에서 다소 增殖이 增加되었고, Salmonella paratyphi B는 1% 人蔘인삼엑기스 添加群에서 24時間까지 持續的으로 현저한 增殖의 促進을 보였다. 5. Shigella boydii 와 Shigella flexneri 및 Shigella sonnei는 人蔘엑기스의 濃度나 時間에 많은 影響을 받지 않았으나, Shigella dysentriae는 1% 人蔘엑기스 添加群에서 24시간까지 持續的으로 현저한 增殖의 促進을 보였으며, 0.1% 人蔘엑기스添加群에서는 모두 억제되었다. 6. 嫌氣性細菌에서 Peptococcus magnus와 Peptostreptococcus anaerobius는 人蔘엑기스 添加群에서 細菌增殖이 낮았고 Clostridium perfingens는 고농도 人蔘엑기스 添加群에서 增殖이 增加한 반면, Clostridium difficile은 低濃度 人蔘엑기스 添加群에서 增殖의 促進을 보였으며, Bacteroides fragilis는 人蔘엑기스 添加群에서 增殖의 低下를 보였으나, Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron은 人蔘엑기스 添加群에서 增殖이 促進되었다. The present study was carried out to look at the effect of different concentration of added ginseng (pnax ginseng C.A. Meyer) extract on the growth of microorganism such as Erwinia carotovora, Staghylococcus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp, Shigella spp, Pepeptostreptococcus anaerobius, Clostridium perfringens, C. difficile, Bacteroides fragilis and B. thetaiotaomicron. 1. Erwinia carotovora on 1% ginseng extract showed a continuous proliferation during 24 hrs while that on less than 1% ginseing extract showed a suspended growth state after 18 hrs. 2. Straphylococcus aureus promoted continuously until 24hrs according to increase of added ginseng extract. 3. Escherichia coli promoted tis proliferation in ginseng extract group of 1%, but was similar to control group in ginseng extract group under 1%. 4. Salmonella typhi, S. paratyphi A and S. phratyphi C were somewhat increased group added ginseng extract and S. paratyphi B showed markedly durable proliferation from 1 to 24 hrs in ginseng extract group of 1%. 5. Shigella boydii, S. flexneri and S. sonnei were not nearly influen concentartion of ginseng extract and regular times, but S. dysentriae promoted-remarkable proliferation from 1 to 24 hrs in ginseng extract group of 1%. They were all inhibition in ginseng extract group of 0.1%. 6. peptococcus magnus and peptostreptococcus anaerobius showed a decreased proliferation in added ginseng group and Clostridium perfrigens showed a increased proliferation in high concentraction of added ginseng group. C. difficile showed a increased proliferation in low concentration of added ginseng group and Bacteroides fragilis showed a decreased proliferation in added ginseng group. B. thetaiotaomicron was promoted in added ginseng group according to increase of added amount of ginseng extract.

The interactions between nutrition and the endocrine system are more intimate and complex that previously thought. Nutrition modulates secretion and activity of many hormones, as part of the stress adaptation process. Fasting, in particular, produces a number of important changes in the endocrine system, with teleological purpose of helping the body tolerate the lack of food ingestion. These changes are therefore beneficial and protective, although at times they may not appear to be that way. The endocrine changes of fasting mediate the metabolic response. We must emphasize that these changes are completely reversible when appropriate nutrition is established. These changes are as followes: 1) decreased insulin and increased glucagon levels, 2) decreased thyroid effect, 3) decreased sympathetic activity, 4) hypothalamic hypogonadism, 5) decreased growth, 6) altered glucocorticoid secretion and metabolism, 7) impaired mineralocorticoid response, 8) decreased ADH secretion and effect. We experienced three cases of involuntary prolonged fasting after collapse of Sampoong department store. They were released from collapsed field after 11(case Ⅰ), 13(case Ⅱ), 17days(case Ⅲ) respectively. In each case, the endocrine changes of plasma levels were as followes: decrease of cortisol in case Ⅰ, increase of GH in case Ⅱ, decrease of free T3, T3, cortisol and increase of reverse T3, insulin in case Ⅲ. Each one did not show the same endocrine changes of plasma levels. But we think these changes of fasting are beneficial in metabolic response of human.
