        복사가열조건에서 표면 거칠기에 따른 액적의 증발 냉각

        The objective of the present work is to examine evaporation cooling of droplet due to surface roughness under radiative heat input condition. The surface temperatures varied from 80~160℃ on aluminum alloy (AL 2024) and surface roughness was 0.18μm, 1.36μm. The results are as follows; Regardless of surface roughness under radiative heat input condition, as droplet diameter is larger, the in-depth temperature of solid decreases and evaporation time increases. In the case of 0.18μm and 1.36μm of surface roughness, the larger the surface roughness is, the less the evaporation time is and the larger the temperature within the solid is. In the case of Ra = 0.18μm, evaporation time and time averaged heat flux for radiative heat input case is shorter than for the conductive case.

The surface temperatures varied from 80~160℃ on aluminum alloy (AL 2024) and surface roughness was 0.18μm, 1.36μm. The results are as follows; Regardless of surface roughness, as droplet diameter is bigger, the in-depth temperature of solid decreases and evaporation time increases. In the case of same initial temperature on the heated surface, as droplet diameter is smaller and small surface roughness is bigger, evaporation time decreases and time averaged heat flux increases.

      • 근위 대퇴정을 이용한 대퇴 전자부 골절의 치료

        목 적 : 근위 대퇴정을 이용한 고령 환자의 대퇴전자간 골절의 치료결과에 대해 보고하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : 2001년 4월부터 2002년 2월까지 대전자부에서 소전자에 이르는 횡선골절 및 소전자 주위 분쇄골절로 압박고 나사 고정이 용이하지 않은 전자간 골절, 일반적인 전자간 골절에 대해 근위 대퇴정을 사용해 치료한 80례 중 추시가 가능했던 71례를 대상으로 하였으며, 추시과정 중 골유합 시기, 대퇴경간각, 지연나사의 활강, 수술시간 및 출혈량, 술중 및 술후 합병증 수술시 주의사항을 조사하였다. 결 과 : 평균연령은 77.5세, 평균추시기간은 9개월이었다. Evans의 분류법으로 골절을 분류하여 안정성, 불안정성 골절은 30례, 41례였다. 평균 골 유합 시비는 13.8주였고, 대퇴경간각은 수술직후 131.9 ± 5.21˚, 129.9 ± 6.04˚ 였으며 평균지연나사의 활강은 4.21±4.13㎜였다. 수술시간은 평균 61분, 출혈량은 평균 0.67pint(134cc)였다. 술중 합병증으로는 정복 실패 1례, 원위고정나사 삽입시 피질골 골절 1례, drill bit 파손 1례가 있었으며, 술후 합병증으로는 대퇴 경간각 소실(5도이상) 12례, 경부골절의 발생이 2례, 지연나사의 관절내 돌출 1례였다. 결 론 : 대퇴골 전자부 골절의 치료로 근위 대퇴정은 정확한 삽입 위치, 삽입시의 조심스러운 확공, 지연나사의 연골하 골에 단단하게 고정시키는 등의 주의를 한다면 수술시간, 출혈량 감소 등의 술중 합병증을 줄이고, 견고한 내고정을 통한 조기 보행을 가능하게 하며, 좋은 골유합 등이 기대되므로, 특히 고령, 분쇄골절, 역행성 골절, 골다공증이 심한 경우에서 바람직한 수술방법으로 사료된다. Purpose : To evaluate the treatment results of geriatric intertochanteric fractures using a proximal femoral nail. Materials and Methods : From April 2001 to February 2002, 71 cases of the intertrochanteric fractures involving lesser trochanter, transverse or reverse oblique intertrochanteric fracture. We evaluated the bone union time, neck-shaft angle, lag screw sliding by follow up radiographs, operation time, blood loss and complications. Results : The average age was 77.5 years old, the mean duration of follow-up was 9 months and the mean duration of bone union was 13.8 weeks. The average neck-shaft angle on immediate postop. x-ray was 131.9 ± 5.21˚ and 129.9 ± 6.04˚ at last follow up and the average lag screw sliding was 4.21 ± 4.13㎜. The average operation time was 61 minutes and blood loss was 0.67 pints(134cc). Intraoperative complications were inadequate reduction in one case, difficulty in distal transfixing in one case and drill bit failure in one case and postoperative complications were loss of neck-shaft angle(more than 5 degree) in 12 cases, femur neck fracture in 2 cases and intraarticular cutting out of femur neck screw in one case. Conclusions : The use of the proximal femoral nail could be appropriate for the fixation of communited or reverse oblique intertrochanteric fracture in elderly, osteroporotic patients for early ambulation, preventing shortening and rotation deformity, and reducing operation time and blood loss.

        Second Harmonic Generation and Frequency Stabilization of a Diode Laser Using an External Ring Resonator

        The second harmonic light of an 842 nm diode laser was generated from a KNbO3 crystal in an external ring resonator. The power of the second harmonic light was about 0.8 mV at an input fundamental power of 87 mW. The laser frequency was stabilized to the resonance frequency of the ring resonator, and the frequency fluctuation was measured as about 3 MHz.

        The Effect of Target Eccentricity and Stimulus-response Compatibility on the Response Latencies of Ocular Movements in Defensive Movement

        서로 다른 시야에서 제시되는 시각적 자극에 대한 목표지향적인 반응과 관련해서 방어동작은 자극으로부터 막기 (Toward)와 피하기 동작(Away)을 포함한다. 이러한 방어동작들은 반응의 결과 또는 자극과 반응의 적합도에 따라서 구분되어 질 수 있다. 비록 투기종목 (복싱, 태권도, 유도 등)에서 공격에 대한 선행연구들은 많이 이루어지고 있지만 방어적인 운동은 그 중요성에 비해서 연구가 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 방어반응을 이해하기 위한 노력으로 서로 다른 시야에서 제시되는 시각적 자극에 대해 막기와 피하기 반응 조건에서 신속한 안구운동의 반응을 연구하였다. 안구운동의 측정은 수용할 수 있는 신뢰도 점수를 보여주었으며, 단속성 안구운동 반응시간은 자극의 편심성이 커질수록 자극과 반응이 적합하지 않는 조건에서 길어졌다. 본 연구에서 이용된 안구운동측정방법은 신뢰할 수준의 정확성을 보여주었으며 연구의 결과들은 방어운동에서 안구운동은 자극의 위치와 자극반응 적합성에 영향을 받을 수 있음을 시사한다.

        아동기 인지-운동발달 평가도구로써 단속성 안구운동의 적용가능성

        The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical and empirical evidence regarding possibility of adapting saccadic eye movement as tool to evaluate cognitive and motor development in children. Saccadic eye movement tasks can be designed to probe simple sensory-motor process as well as higher cognitive functions using different types of paradigm. Several studies deal with saccadic performance in children. The main findings of the investigation were that saccadic eye movement performance represents a sensitive indicator of maturation of the brain activity and motor development. However, to our knowledge, there are few studies to utilize saccadic eye movement to assess the cognitive and physical development in children. In this review paper, 1) the importance of saccadic eye movement in children, 2) age-related different parameter in saccade, 3) development of brain function related to saccade and finally, the future directions have been discussed.

        운동학습,제어,발달 : 자극-반응 적합성이 신속한 머리회전의 반응시간에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine whether yaw head rotational reaction time and premotor time to visual stimuli in central and peripheral visual fields would improve with practice. Method: The task was to make a complete horizontal head rotation regardless of target eccentricity in two response conditions: TOWARD and AWAY conditions. In the TOWARD condition subjects rotated their head in the direction ipsilateral to target appearance for a congruent S-R response. In the AWAY condition subjects rotated their head contralateral to target appearance for an incongruent S-R response. All subjects participated in the following sequence of testing and training: (1) Pre-test, (2) Training (6 days over 2 weeks), and (3) Post-test. Measures associated with yaw head rotations involved with reaction time, premotor time and electromechanical delay. Results: Results revealed shorter yaw head rotation RT in TOWARD and AWAY conditions after 6 days of practice in TOWARD and AWAY conditions. We found the greater observations especially for the centrally placed target. Conclusion: These results suggest greater performance improvements were observed for most subjects when practice and testing were within the same condition, indicating support for the well-known learning specificity phenomena.

        자극행로의 변화가 예측타이밍의 시공간적 정확성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of utilizing visual information about changes in stimulus trajectory by analyzing the effect of unexpected changes in the trajectory of visual stimulus on the spatiotemporal accuracy of coincident timing response. Thirteen subjects performed timing task requiring wrist movement in coincident with the arrival of stimulus light at the target location. During the task, the point of change in the trajectory of stimulus moving at three velocities was manipulated by light emitting diode array. For each trial, the accuracy of timing was measured, from which constant error(CE), absolute error(AE), variable error(VE), and error rate were calculated. Analyses of the results revealed that the timing accuracy differed by stimulus velocity and the point of changes in the stimulus trajectory. CE and AE increased as stimulus velocity became faster and the point of change in the stimulus trajectory was delayed. Also, CE and AE for the point of change-2.5cm condition increased as stimulus velocity became slower. Error rate in the point of change-2.5cm and no-change conditions was larger than those in other conditions. These results suggest that the effect of changes in stimulus trajectory on the spatiotemporal accuracy of coincident timing differs by stimulus velocity, the point of change in the stimulus trajectory and time remained from the point of change to the initiation of response.
