CERTAIN RESULTS ON SUBMANIFOLDS OF GENERALIZED SASAKIAN SPACE-FORMS
( Sunil Kumar Yadav ),( Sudhakar K Chaubey ) 호남수학회 2020 호남수학학술지 Vol.42 No.1
The object of the present paper is to study certain geometrical properties of the submanifolds of generalized Sasakian space-forms. We deduce some results related to the invariant and anti-invariant slant submanifolds of the generalized Sasakian space-forms. Finally, we study the properties of the sectional curvature, totally geodesic and umbilical submanifolds of the generalized Sasakian space-forms. To prove the existence of almost semiinvariant and anti-invariant submanifolds, we provide the non-trivial examples.

In this paper, bending analysis of exponentially varying functionally graded (FG) plate is presented using trigonometric shear deformation theory (TSDT) considering both transverse shear and normal deformation effects. The in-plane displacement field consists of sinusoidal functions in thickness direction to include transverse shear strains and transverse displacement include the effect of transverse normal strain using the cosine function in thickness coordinate. The governing equations and boundary conditions of the theory are derived using the virtual work principle. System of governing equations, for simply supported conditions, Navier's solution technique is used to obtain results. Plate material properties vary across thickness direction according to exponential distribution law. In the current theory, transverse shear stresses are distributed accurately through the plate thickness, hence obviates the need for a shear correction factor. TSDT results are compared with those from other theories to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the present theory. The current theory is in excellent agreement with the semi-analytical theory.

Background Orthopedic metallic screws even post healing causes ‘pinching eff ect’ and load infl ammation to the bone. In this work, the design and development of a novel metallic core and polymeric shell orthopedic screw is discussed along with optimization of manufacturing process. Methods A comparative 2D fi nite element study for pull-out test was conducted on HA, HB, HC, and HD standards of screws for approximately identical diameters to determine the type of threading for the proposed design of the novel orthopedic screw. The polymeric shell of the orthopedic screws was manufactured by injection molding process. The material used for manufacturing the polymeric shell was poly-l-lactic acid. Injection pressure, injection velocity, packing pressure and packing time of the injection molding process were optimized for the following output responses: maximum axial pull-out strength, and maximal bending strength of the screw. Results The r-squared and the adjusted r-squared value of the developed regression model for pull-out was found to be 96% and 92%, respectively. For the bending force, the developed regression model had a r-squared and adjusted r-squared value of 87% and 75%, respectively. The regression models were maximised to obtain the desired input parameters. The optimised parameters were validated experimentally at two local maxima for both pull-out and bending force. Signifi cance The developed screw is novel in design and a patent has been fi led under US patent offi ce with number US 2022/0000529 A1. The screws can be used by medical practitioners to avoid or minimise revision surgery and infl ammation.
A NOTE ON (k, μ)′ -ALMOST KENMOTSU MANIFOLDS
( Sunil Kumar Yadav ),( Yadab Chandra Mandal ),( Shyamal Kumar Hui ) 호남수학회 2021 호남수학학술지 Vol.43 No.4
The present paper deals with the study of generalized quasiconformal curvature tensor inside the setting of (k, μ)′ -almost Kenmotsu manifold with respect to η-Ricci soliton. Certain consequences of these curvature tensor on such manifold are likewise displayed. Finally, we illustrate some examples based on this study.

Objectives: We evaluated and recorded post-traumatic and postoperative neurosensory deficits of the inferior alveolar nerve (IAN) in mandibular fracture in order to identify associated risk factors. Materials and Methods: This was a prospective cohort study composed of 60 patients treated for mandibular fracture. The primary study variable was the change between the post-traumatic IAN neurosensory examination score and the score after fracture reduction. Risk factors were categorized as demographic, anatomic, fracture displacement, and treatment. Appropriate descriptive and bivariate statistics were computed. Results: Sixty patients with unilateral mandibular fracture reported within 24 hours of injury were evaluated over a one-year period. A post-traumatic neurosensory deficit was observed in 52 patients (86.7%), the percentage of which was reduced to 23.3% over the follow-up period. Abnormal postoperative neurosensory scores were significantly higher in angle fracture cases (33.3%) compared to body fracture cases (11.1%). When recovered and non-recovered neurosensory scores were compared by fracture location, 88.9% of body fracture cases showed significant recovery compared to 66.7% of mandibular angle fracture cases. Cases with less than 5 mm fracture displacement showed statistically significantly higher neurosensory recovery scores (90.6%) compared to those with more than 5 mm fracture displacement (60.7%). Conclusion: Use of a miniplate with mono-cortical screws does not play a role in increasing IAN post-traumatic neurosensory deficit. Early management can reduce the chances of permanent neurosensory deficit. Mandibular fracture displacement of 5 mm or more and fracture location were found to be associated with an increased risk of post-traumatic IAN neurosensory score worsening.

Intralabyrinthine schwannomas (ILSs) are rare tumors involving the otic capsule. Notably, they are often misdiagnosed because their symptoms mimic those of other, more common inner ear pathologies. Diagnosis requires high-resolution contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which reveals filling defects (using a T2-weighted MRI sequence) or focal enhancement (using a T1-weighted MRI sequence with gadolinium enhancement) in the inner ear. A 52-year-old male patient with intractable vertigo or single-sided deafness should raise suspicion of this clinical entity as a differential diagnosis. Translabyrinthine excision of the tumor along with auditory rehabilitation using a cochlear implant can provide good outcomes with minimal morbidity in carefully selected cases. Here, we present an interesting case of a transmodiolar ILS mimicking Meniere’s disease, wherein surgery using the translabyrinthine approach and an extended cochleostomy yielded favorable outcomes.
Riemannian manifolds with a semi-symmetric metric $P$-connection
Sudhakar Kr Chaubey,이재원,Sunil Kr Yadav 대한수학회 2019 대한수학회지 Vol.56 No.4
We define a class of semi-symmetric metric connection on a Riemannian manifold for which the conformal, the projective, the concircular, the quasi conformal and the $m$-projective curvature tensors are invariant. We also study the properties of semisymmetric, Ricci semisymmetric and Eisenhart problems for solving second order parallel symmetric and skew-symmetric tensors on the Riemannian manifolds equipped with a semi-symmetric metric $P$-connection.
DOES SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTES NON-DECEPTIVE COUNTERFEITING? EMPIRICAL EVIDENCES FROM INDIA
Ritu Raj,Saurabh Verma,Sunil Kumar Yadav 글로벌지식마케팅경영학회 2023 Global Marketing Conference Vol.2023 No.07
Social media has become popular in both business and research as many studies have explored the impact of this medium on the purchase behavior of consumers but surprisingly not in the domain of counterfeiting. Social media has become a significant part of today's lifestyle and it has created new channels for brand manufacturers and consumers to communicate. The present study tries to assess the impact of social media determinants on counterfeit purchase intention. The study explored three factors of social media namely social media platform, user-generated content, and social media word of mouth. Further, the study checks for the mediation effect of consumer attitude between social media determinants and purchase intention. The data for the present study were collected from three metropolitan cities of India namely Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. The PLS-SEM was used on 406 respondents for further analysis and validation. The results revealed that there is a significant relationship between social media platforms, user-generated content, and purchase intention. However, an insignificant relationship was found between social media word of mouth and purchase intention. Further, the study suggested that attitude mediates the relationship between social media determinants and the purchase intention of consumers towards the purchase of counterfeit products in India.
