Low-Temperature, Solution-Processed, 3-D Complementary Organic FETs on Flexible Substrate

<P>Vertical stacking of thin-film transistors is an effective way to reduce the footprint of a device, thus increases transistor density in complex flexible electronic applications without reducing the feature size and resolution of the patterning tools. In this paper, we report a 3-D complementary organic FET fabricated on a plastic substrate by stacking a bottom-gate top-contact p-type transistor on a top-gate bottom-contact n-type transistor with a gate shared between the two. We used high-performance polymer semiconductors, poly [(E)-2, 7-bis (2 decyltetradecyl) 4 methyl 9 (5 (2 (5 methylthiophen 2 yl) vinyl) thiophen 2 yl) benzo [lmn] [3, 8] phenanthroline-1, 3, 6, 8 (2H, 7H)-tetraone] for n-type devices and poly [2, 5-bis (7-decylnonadecyl) pyrrolo [3, 4-c] pyrrole-1, 4 (2H, 5H)-dione-(E) 1,2 bis (5 (thiophen 2 yl) selenophen 2 yl) ethene] for p-type devices to fabricate the vertically stacked organic transistors along with a Cytop and cross-linked poly (4-vinylphenol) bilayer and Poly (Methyl Methacrylate) gate dielectric. A 3-D flexible complementary organic inverter exhibits a maximum static voltage gain of approximate to 18 V/V and high noise immunity of up to 60% of V-DD/2. The 3-D transistors show hysteresis-free I-V characteristics despite of low-temperature processes. Moreover, we discuss the influence of cross-linker concentration and the processing temperature of the PVP dielectric film on the degree of hysteresis in I-V characteristics.</P>

수집 및 가공된 교통자료와 시스템 운영 자료의 체계적인 분석 수단으로 사용될 교통 이력자료 관리 시스템의 요구 기능을 정의하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 시스템 구축을 위한 사용자 요구사항을 구체적으로 정의, 설명함으로써 시스템 완성도와 활용도를 높인다. 본 논문에서는 교통 이력자료 관리 시스템의 주요 기능으로 ‘자료 저장 기능’, ‘자료 분석 기능’, ‘자료 보고 기능’ 을 제안한다. 이러한 시스템의 사용자 요구 기능은 Rational Rose tool 을 이용하여 Use Case 다이어그램으로 시각화 되어지며 이후 교통정보 이력자료 통합데이터베이스 구축을 위한 개발자들에게 더욱 쉬운 이해를 제공할 수 있다.
무선 센서 네트워크에서 센서 노드의 에너지 예측을 위한 시뮬레이터 개발

무선 센서 네트워크에서 센서 노드는 배터리 파워로 동작하기 때문에 사용할 수 있는 에너지가 한정되어 있다. 따라서 무선 센서 네트워크를 구성할 때 각 센서 노드의 에너지 소비를 정확하게 예측하는 것이 안정적인 네트워크 운용을 위해 중요한 고려 요소가 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 센서 노드의 에너지소비 예측을 위한 시뮬레이터를 제안하였다. 제안하는 시뮬레이터는 데이터 송, 수신에 따른 에너지 소모와 하드웨어에서의 에너지 소모를 반영하여 구현하였기 때문에 센서 노드의 수명을 정확하게 예측할 수 있다.

<P>Excessive noise, ototoxic drugs, infections, autoimmune diseases, and aging can cause loss of spiral ganglion neurons, leading to permanent sensorineural hearing loss in mammals. Stem cells have been confirmed to be able to differentiate into spiral ganglion neurons. Little has been reported on adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ADSCs) for repair of injured spiral ganglion neurons. In this study, we hypothesized that transplantation of neural induced-human ADSCs (NI-hADSCs) can repair the injured spiral ganglion neurons in guinea pigs with neomycin-induced sensorineural hearing loss. NI-hADSCs were induced with culture medium containing basic fibroblast growth factor and forskolin and then injected to the injured cochleae. Guinea pigs that received injection of Hanks’ balanced salt solution into the cochleae were used as controls. Hematoxylin-eosin staining showed that at 8 weeks after cell transplantation, the number of surviving spiral ganglion neurons in the cell transplantation group was significantly increased than that in the control group. Also at 8 weeks after cell transplantation, immunohistochemical staining showed that a greater number of NI-hADSCs in the spiral ganglions were detected in the cell transplantation group than in the control group, and these NI-hADSCs expressed neuronal markers neurofilament protein and microtubule-associated protein 2. Within 8 weeks after cell transplantation, the guinea pigs in the cell transplantation group had a gradually decreased auditory brainstem response threshold, while those in the control group had almost no response to 80 dB of clicks or pure tone burst. These findings suggest that a large amount of NI-hADSCs migrated to the spiral ganglions, survived for a period of time, repaired the injured spiral ganglion cells, and thereby contributed to the recovery of sensorineural hearing loss in guinea pigs.</P>

The aim of this study is to understand the nature of popular culture texts and reception in East Asia by critically employing the concept of 'hybridity' as a theoretical framework. Plenty of attention is given to the potentiality of hybridity concept in explaining the articulations between the global and the local. However, due to its conceptual ambiguity, hybridity is also considered vulnerable to the transnational capitalists' appropriation. Nonetheless, the conceptual merit of hybridity lies in its ability to reveal the modes in which hybrid cultural texts and reception practices are articulated with established power relations in social contexts. As the paper demonstrates, audiences enjoying other Asian country's popular culture find various differences including cultural values and have opportunities to experience self-reflexivity about their culture and others' cultures as well as becoming interested in other societies and cultures. In the case of Korean and Japanese co-produced dramas, we can find that the television text is deliberately constructed to include various hybrid elements in the text particularly among which the two countries are gendered through the Japanese female and Korean male characters. That strategy of the hybrid drama obviously intend to repress the historically experience and memory of hierarchial relation between Korea and Japan, while it sustains and naturalize the unequal gender power relations. In conclusion, this paper argues that transcultural production and receptions of hybrid culture products in East Asia so far reveal the potential to reconfigure, dis-articulate and re-articulate power relations between genders and nationalities in the way of leaving room to change the terrains.
