      • Impacts of Tourism Development on the Physical Environment

        Any form of industrial development will bring with it impacts upon the physical environment in which it take place. However, tourism, as one of the world‘s fastest growing industries, has multitude of impacts, both positive and negative, on the physical environment. The main purpose of this study is inspection of different Impacts of tourism on the physical environment. In brief, the finding is, negative impacts of tourism will arise when the level of visitor use is superior to the environment‘s ability to cope with this use. Positive impacts will arise when governors, local communities and every tourist understand the real and main concept and value of environment deeply and work together to manage this industry according to sustainable tourism characteristics. This paper evaluates some concepts and challenges related to the subject and find some solutions in order to weakening the negative impacts of tourism and empowering the positive ones. However, the last and the best way is the real and practical sustainable development of tourism.

The results are obtained using the technique of measure of noncompactness and the Darbo theorem in the real Banach space of continuous and bounded functions in the interval [0,a].         Acute Systemic Infusion of Bupropion Decrease Formalin Induced Pain Behavior in Rat

        The chronic pain can disturb physical, psychological, and social performances. Analgesic agents are widely used but some antidepressants (ADs) showed analgesia also. Bupropion is using for smoke cessation but it can change morphine withdrawal signs such as pain. This study tested the acute systemic effect of bupropion on formalin induced pain behavior in rats.Methods: Wistar male healthy rats were divided into 7 groups (control, sham, and 5 treated groups with 10, 30, 90, 120, and 200 mg/kg of bupropion, i.p.). The bupropion injected 3 hours prior to formalin induced pain behavior. Formalin (50 μl, 2.5%) was injected subcutaneously in dorsal region of right hindpaw in all animals. Nociceptive signs were observed continuously on-line and off-line each minute. Common pain scoring was used for pain assessment. Results: The analysis of data by one-way ANOVA showed that bupropion can reduce pain scores in the second phase but not in first phase. Bupropion decreased the licking/biting duration significantly in first and second phase of formalin test. Conclusions: The results showed that bupropion has analgesic effects at systemic application. The change of second phase of the pain behavior was significant and it revealed that central mechanisms involve in bupropion analgesia. (Korean J Pain 2014; 27: 118-124)

        Mobile Health Technology and Healthcare Providers: Systemic Barriers to Adoption

        Objectives: Despite the growing use of mobile health (mHealth), certain barriers seem to be hindering the use of mHealthapplications in healthcare. This article presents a systematic review of the literature on barriers associated with mHealthreported by healthcare professionals. Methods: This systematic review was carried out to identify studies published fromJanuary 2015 to December 2019 by searching four electronic databases (PubMed/MEDLINE, Web of Science, Embase, andGoogle Scholar). Studies were included if they reported perceived barriers to the adoption of mHealth from healthcare providers’perspectives. Content analysis and categorization of barriers were performed based on a focus group discussion thatexplored researchers’ knowledge and experiences. Results: Among the 273 papers retrieved through the search strategy, 18works were selected and 18 barriers were identified. The relevant barriers were categorized into three main groups: technical,individual, and healthcare system. Security and privacy concerns from the category of technical barriers, knowledge andlimited literacy from the category of individual barriers, and economic and financial factors from the category of healthcaresystem barriers were chosen as three of the most important challenges related to the adoption of mHealth described in the includedpublications. Conclusions: mHealth adoption is a complex and multi-dimensional process that is widely implementedto increase access to healthcare services. However, it is influenced by various factors and barriers. Understanding the barriersto adoption of mHealth applications among providers, and engaging them in the adoption process will be important for thesuccessful deployment of these applications.

      • Relationship between Work-family Conflict Management and the Job Satisfaction of Iranian International Taekwondo Referees

        Purpose: This paper aims to investigate the relationship between work-family conflict management and job satisfaction in Iranian International Taekwondo Referees. Methods: The study population included all the active Iranian international Taekwondo referees judging in internal and external tournaments from 2016 to 2017. The total population was 203 referees (154 male, 49 female), but our sample consisted of 105 male and 44 female referees, selected based on Morgan’s sample size table and stratified sampling method. Results: Based on the test results; there is no significant relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction of the Iranian international Taekwondo referees (p > 0.05). On the basis of variance analysis between work-family conflict and job satisfaction of the Iranian international Taekwondo referees considering the gender characteristics, no significant relationship was found (p > 0.05). However, there was a significant relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction of the Iranian international Taekwondo referees and individual work and marital status characteristics (p > 0.05). Conclusions: Iranian international Taekwondo referees spend a lot of time on becoming professionals. Thus, Iran Taekwondo Federation’s failure to pay due attention to them and create career development opportunities for them results in the referees’ decreased loyalty to their jobs. Therefore, Iranian international Taekwondo referees will have job satisfaction when they are ensured of having job security, appropriate incomes, and suitable retirement insurance.

        Efficiency analysis of straight fin with variable heat transfer coefficient and thermal conductivity

        In this study, one type of applicable analytical method, differential transformation method (DTM), is used to evaluate the efficiency and behavior of a straight fin with variable thermal conductivity and heat transfer coefficient. Fins are widely used to enhance heat transfer between primary surface and the environment in many industrial applications. The performance of such a surface is significantly affected by variable thermal conductivity and heat transfer coefficient, particularly for large temperature differences. General heat transfer equation related to the fin is derived and dimensionalized. The concept of differential transformation is briefly introduced, and then this method is employed to derive solutions of nonlinear equations. Results are evaluated for several cases such as: laminar film boiling or condensation, forced convection, laminar natural convection, turbulent natural convection, nucleate boiling, and radiation. The obtained results from DTM are compared with the numerical solution to verify the accuracy of the proposed method. The effects of design parameters on temperature and efficiency are evaluated by some figures. The major aim of the present study, which is exclusive for this article, is to find the effect of the modes of heat transfer on fin efficiency. It has been shown that for radiation heat transfer, thermal efficiency reaches its maximum value.

        Multi objective optimization of reverse osmosis desalination plant with exergy approach

        A brackish water reverse osmosis desalination plant based on exergy analysis was simulated and its performance was investigated. The computational model base on diffusion and convection transport mechanisms and concentration polarization concept was developed to predict the performance of RO membrane using different feed water concentration, feed flow rate, feed water pressure, membrane specification and feed water properties. The mathematical model has had good accuracy with reference data. The influence of operating parameters such as feed water pressure and temperature on the performance of the system was studied. Exergetic efficiency and destruction of streams exergy were calculated. Finally, multi-objective optimization for highest exergetic efficiency and permeate flow rate was done.

        Ibrutinib reduces neutrophil infiltration, preserves neural tissue and enhances locomotor recovery in mouse contusion model of spinal cord injury

        Following acute spinal cord injury (SCI), excessive recruitment of neutrophils can result in inflammation, neural tissue loss and exacerbation of neurological outcomes. Ibrutinib is a bruton’s tyrosine kinase inhibitor in innate immune cells such as the neutrophils that diminishes their activation and influx to the site of injury. The present study evaluated the efficacy of ibrutinib administration in the acute phase of SCI on neural tissue preservation and locomotor recovery. Ibrutinib was delivered intravenously at 3.125 mg/kg either immediately, 12 hours after, or both immediately and 12 hours after SCI induction in adult male C57BL/6 mice. Neutrophil influx into the lesion area was evaluated 24 hours following SCI using light microscopy and immunohistochemistry methods. Animals’ body weight changes were recorded, and their functional motor recovery was assessed based on the Basso mouse scale during 28 days after treatment. Finally, spinal cord lesion volume was estimated by an unbiased stereological method. While animals’ weight in the control group started to increase one week after injury, it stayed unchanged in treatment groups. However, the double injection of ibrutinib led to a significantly lower body weight compared to the control group at 4 weeks post-injury. Mean neutrophil counts per visual field and the lesion volume were significantly decreased in all ibrutinib-treated groups. In addition, ibrutinib significantly improved locomotor functional recovery in all treated groups, especially in immediate and double-injection groups. Neural tissue protection and locomotor functional recovery suggest ibrutinib treatment as a potent immunotherapeutic intervention for traumatic SCI that warrants clinical testing.

        Analytical Solution of the Klein Gordon Equation for a Quadratic Exponential-Type Potential

        In this research study, analytical solutions of the Klein Gordon equation by considering the potential as a quadratic exponential will be presented. However, the potential is assumed to be within the framework of an approximation for the centrifugal potential in any state. The Nikiforov-Uvarov method is used to calculate the wave function, as well as corresponding exact energy equation, in bound states. We finally concluded that the quadratic exponential-type potential under which the results were deduced, led to outcomes that were comparable to the results obtained from the well-known potentials in some special cases.
