Evaluation of stream water quality in three stands by Drinking water quality standard <원문참조> 임지이용에 따른 수질변화 및 오염정도를 구명하여 향후 비점오염원 관리를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 경남 진주시 정평리에 위치한 3개 임분(소나무, 밤나무Ⅰ, 반나무Ⅱ임분)에서 2000년 7월부터 9월까지 계류수의 수질변화를 분석하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 세 임분의 계류수 pH는 소나무 임분(pH6.59)>밤나무 Ⅱ임분(ph 6.53)>밤나무 Ⅰ임분(pH 6.47)계류수 순으로 나타났다. 2. 전기전도도는 밤나무 Ⅰ임분>소나무 임분>밤나무 Ⅱ임분 계류수의 순으로 높게 나타났다. 3. 양이온은 세 임분의 계류수 모두 Ca^2+, Na^+, Mg^2+, K^+, NH_^+의 순으로 높게 나타났다. 4. 음이온은 소나무 임분과 밤나무 Ⅱ임분 계류수에서는 SO_4^2, Cl, NO_3의 순으로 높게 나타났고, 밤나무 Ⅰ임분 계류수에서는 NO_3, SO_4^2, Cl 의 순으로 높게 나타나 차이를 보였다. 5. 소나무, 밤나무 Ⅱ임분 계류수는 pH, NH_4+, NO_3, Cl, SO_4^2이 먹는 물 수질기준 범위내에 있었다. 그러나 밤나무 Ⅰ임분 계류수에서 5항목 중 NO_3는 먹는 물 수질기준을 넘어서는 범위에 있어 임지이용에 따른 하류수질의 오염이 우려되었다. 따라서 이러한 상류지역에서 오염원 차단을 위한 수질정화시설 등의 대책이 마련되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. This study was carried out to clarify the change characteristics of stream water quality by land-use of forest from July to September, 2000 in three stands(Pinus densiflora, Castanea crenata(Ⅰ), Castanea crenata(Ⅱ) stand) of Jeongpyeong-ri, Jinju-si, Gyeongnam. The mean pH of rainfall results in acid rain of 5.3. The pH of stream water in three stands was hugh in order of Pinus densiflora (pH 6.59), Castanea crenata(Ⅱ)(pH 6.53) and Castanea crenata(Ⅰ) stand(pH 6.47). The electrical conductivity of stream water was high in order of Castanea crenata(Ⅰ), Pinus densiflora and Castanea crenata(Ⅱ) stand. Cations of three stand in stream water high in order of Ca^2+, Na^+, Mg^2+, K^+ and NH_4^+. But anions of stream water in Pinus densiflora stand and Castanea crenata(Ⅱ) stand were high in order of SO_4^2, Cl and NO_3. In Castanea crenata(Ⅰ) stand cations of stream water were high in order of NO_3, SO_^2 and Cl. The level of pH, NH_4^+, NO_3, Cl and SO_4^2 of stream water in Pinus densiflora stand and Castanea crenata(Ⅱ) stand reached within the level of domestic use standard for drinking water But the level of NO_3 of stream water in Castanea crenata(Ⅰ) stand was higher than that of domestic use standard. Therefore, non-point sources like forest watersheds which are fertilizer application lands should be taken to the appropriate mitigation measures.

The unequivocal solid-state structure and stereochemistry of the hetaryl leuco-TAM dye, 2,2’-(2-phenyl propane- 1,3-diylidene) bis(1,3,3- trimethylindoline) derivatives were established using X-ray single crystal analysis. The X-ray crystal analysis showed that the (Z, E)-isomers only formed stereoselectively, with a so-called “threebladed propeller” conformation, from the reaction of a Fischer base and benzaldehyde derivatives. These isomers were stacked in a juxtaposition to form a dimer or a double dimer, adopting either a triclinic, with P-1, or monoclinic crystal system with a space group P21/n in the unit cell of the crystal.

<P>Snail, a zinc-finger transcriptional repressor of E-cadherin expression, is one of the key inducers of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in epithelial cancer. In breast cancer, EMT has been associated with malignancies, including metastasis, cancer stem-like properties, and resistance to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In this study, we analysed the role of Snail in the highly metastatic mesenchymal TUBO-P2J mouse breast cancer cells, by loss of function using short hairpin RNA. Though silencing Snail did not restore the E-cadherin expression or induce morphological changes, Snail silencing significantly ablated in vitro and in vivo metastatic potentials. In addition, Snail silencing also reduced resistance to chemotherapy drugs and cancer stem-like properties, such as CD44 expression, aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) activity, colony formation, and in vivo tumour formation and growth. However, radioresistance was not decreased by silencing Snail. Collectively, this study suggested that Snail is a main regulator of the maintenance of malignancy potentials and is a good target to prevent cancer metastasis and to increase chemotherapy susceptibility.</P>
외국인 유학생의 대학생활 적응을 위한 서비스 디자인 연구 - 한국인 학생과의 교류를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 외국인 유학생이 겪고 있는 적응 문제 해결을 위해 현지인과의 사회적 관계를 중심으로 유학 생활 적응을 도울 수 있는 서비스를 제안하였다. 문헌 연구와 설문조사를 통해 유학생들의 문제를 정의하였고 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 진행하여 유학생과 한국인 학생의 사회적 관계의 어려움을 이해하고 원인을 파악하였다. 이어서 페르소나를 도출하고 서비스 제공 가치를 안전, 자율성, 지속성의 세 가지로 정의하였다. 이를 토대로 서비스 컨셉과 구체적인 서비스 과정을 포함하는 첫번째 프로토타입을 제작하였고 설문조사를 통해 잠재 고객의 피드백을 수집하였다. 두번째 프로토타입은 서비스의 안전, 신뢰성과 지속성 측면에서 보완되었으며, 참가자 6명을 대상으로 실제 활동을 진행해 사회적 관계 수준과 프로그램 만족도를 평가하였다. 그 결과, 참가자들의 만족도는 5점 만점에 평균 4.5점으로, 제안하는 서비스가 외국인 유학생들의 사회적 관계 향상에 기여함을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 발달적 관점에서 성인 초기 외국인 유학생들이 현지 적응과 사회적 관계 형성에서 경험하는 어려움을 분석하였으며, 디자인 방법론을 활용해 호혜적 관계에 기반한 적응 프로그램을 제안했다는 점에서 기존 연구와 차별화되는 의의가 있다. This study proposes a service to solve and help international students' foreign country adaptation issues by focusing on local social relationships. Literature reviews and surveys distinguished the adaptation issues, focused group interviews identified social relationship difficulties between internationals and locals, and finally carried out personas for this study. This study defines three core service values: safety, autonomy, and persistence. Moreover, detailed service level specifications and prototype evaluation surveys added credibility to the core values. Six volunteers participated in the revised content and evaluated their social relationship levels after the activity. As a result, participants' satisfaction level was 4.5 out of 5 points on average. This study is meaningful as it analyzes the difficulties of international students' local adaption with social relationship development in the early stage and proposes a successful adaptation program based on a reciprocal relationship by utilizing a design methodology.

The Effect of PVP, activated charcoal and mineral composition of medium on organogensis from the culture of selected off-type protocorm by the successive subculture of Aerides japonicum were investigated. High ratio of N:P:K and peptone severely decreased organogenesis especially root growth and survival rate caused by phenolic compounds exudated from plants. Though 0.5% aetivated charcoal and 0.1-0.2% PVP inhibited organogensis slightly, it prevented formation of phenolic compounds from plants and increased survival ratio. The lowest ratio of N:P:K, 5:10:5, with 0.1-0.15% as total content was the most effective for organogenesis and obtaining of healthy plants.
