한란 왜성화 변이종의 생육특성과 RAPD에 의한 유전적 근연관계 분석

We produced a dwarf mutant by the cross-pollination between a blue flower variety and a purple flower variety of Cymbidium kanran Makino. Growth characteristics were compared among a normal type(N), a natural dwarf type(ND), and an artificially dwarf type(AD) induced by uniconazole, respectively. The shoot characteristics of ND were shorter and thicker than those of N and AD. In addition, the rhizome of ND were shorter and thicker, and had many tillers compared to that of N and AD. The growth characteristics of AD was medium among samples observed. To investigate genetic relationships among orchid samples, random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis was performed with genomic DNAs. Similarity coefficient was 0.929 between N and AD, and 0.75 between AD and ND. Clustal analysis by unweighted pair-group method with arithmetic averages (UPGMA) revealed that N and AD were clustered in the same group. These RAPD markers may be valuable resources to differentiate between natural dwarf mutant and artificially induced dwarf of orchid.

In the previous paper of the series of researches on the graphitic properties of anthracites, authors have already reported the results on the electrical specific resistance measurements for Korean anthracites in order to develope a simple methods which differentiate graphite from anthracite. In this paper, the X-ray diffraction method and oxidation have been applied and compared with the results which were obtained by the specific resistance measurements in the previous paper. It has been confirmed that there is a parallel relation between the value of specific resistance measurement and height of hexagonal peak by X-ray diffraction, but the color reaction due to graphitic acid by oxidation does not show any definite critical points between graphite and anthracite.

The objective of this study is to investigate the structural behavior of beam-to-column connections in which box steel members are used for There are three types in already established beam-to-column connections with box columns for rigid joints, that is diaphragm penetrated type, inside diaphragm type and outside diaphragm type have been developed till now. But it is difficult and is complicated to apply to high rise buildings because of installation of diaphragms under the condition of our country. In this paper the type of beam-to-column connections which is stiffended by triangular plates is tested when box steel members are used for column. Simply bending tests are carried out about this type and its strength is compared with inside diaphragm type.

Surgical removal of impacted mandibular third molars frequently require tooth sectioning or bone removal. In this study, 361 mesioangular or horizontal impacted mandibular third molars are removed surgically by tooth section, the methods of tooth section are classified as 4 stages and 12 grades in the number of times and technics of crown or roots section and difficulties. Grades and their cases are followings: 1. occlusal crown first section(100, 28%) 2. distal crown first section(69, 19%) 3. occlusal crown second section(29, 8%) 4. distal crown second section(52, 14%) 5. occlusal crown first section and root section(10, 3%) 6. distal crown first section and root section(27, 7%) 7. occlusal crown third section(3, 1%) 8. distal crown third section(22, 6%) 9. occlusal crown second section and root section(13, 3%) 10. distal crown second section and root section(17, 5%) 11. occlusal crown third section and root section(2, 1%) 12. distal crown third section and root section(17, 5%)
