Shuai Cheng,Yonggang Cao,Junxi Sun,Guangwen Liu 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.8 No.12
To solve the problem of tracking the trajectory of a moving object and learning a deep compact image representation in the complex environment, a novel robust incremental deep learning tracker is presented under the particle filter framework. The incremental deep classification neural network was composed of stacked denoising autoencoder, incremental feature learning and support vector machine to achieve the feature-extracting and classification of particle set. Deep learning is successfully taken to express the image representations obtained effectively. Unsupervised feature learning is used to learn generic image features and transfer learning transforms knowledge from offline training to the online tracking process. The incremental feature learning was consisted of adding features and merging features to online learn compact feature set. Linear support vector machine increases the discretion for target with similar appearance and is further tuned to adapt to appearance changes of the moving object. Compared with the state-of-the-art trackers in the complex environment, the results of experiments on variant challenging image sequences show that incremental deep learning tracker solves the problem of existent trackers more efficiently, it has better robust and more accurate, especially for occlusions, background clutter, illumination changes and appearance changes.

Objective: This experiment investigated the effects of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) alone or mixed with ochratoxin A (OTA) and/or zearalenone (ZEA) on the metabolism, immune function, and antioxidant status of dairy goats. Methods: Fifty lactating Laoshan dairy goats were randomly assigned to one of five treatment groups (n = 10) for 14 days. Goats were fed no additive (control) or administered with $50{\mu}g\;AFB1/kg$ dry matter (DM) (AFB1), $50{\mu}g\;AFB1/kg$ $DM+100{\mu}g\;OTA/kg$ DM (AFB1+OTA), $50{\mu}g\;AFB1/kg$ $DM+500{\mu}g\;ZEA/kg$ DM (AFB1+ZEA), or $50{\mu}g\;AFB1/kg$ $DM+100{\mu}g\;OTA/kg$ $DM+500{\mu}g\;ZEA/kg$ DM (AFB1+OTA+ZEA). Results: Dry matter intake and milk production were lower in goats fed AFB1+OTA+ZEA than in controls. Supplementation with AFB1, OTA, and ZEA significantly decreased red blood cell count, hematocrit, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, and mean platelet volume, and significantly increased white blood cell count, when compared with the control group. Compared with control, the combination of AFB1, OTA, and ZEA significantly increased alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activities, total bilirubin (TBIL), interleukin-6, and malondialdehyde (MDA), but significantly reduced immunoglobulin A concentration, the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxides (GSH-Px), and total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) in serum. Administration of AFB1 combined with OTA led to higher ALP, ALT, TBIL, and MDA, as well as lower milk production, SOD and GSH-Px activities, and T-AOC, than administration of AFB1 combined with ZEA. Conclusion: The mixture of AFB1, OTA, and ZEA exerted the greatest adverse effects on dairy goats, meanwhile the deleterious damage of the other mycotoxin combinations were in varying degrees. The findings of this study could provide guidance for the prevention and treatment of the consequences of contamination of animal feeds with combinations of mycotoxin.

Cheng Chen,Renli Liang,Jingwen Chen,Jun Zhang,Shuai Wang,Chong Zhao,Wei Zhang,Jiangnan Dai,Changqing Chen 대한금속·재료학회 2017 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.13 No.4
We demonstrate the fabrication and characterization of ZnO/GaNbasedheterojunction light-emitting diodes (LEDs) by using air-stableand solution-processable ZnO quantum dots (QDs) with a thin MgOinterlayer acting as an electron blocking layer (EBL). The ZnO QDs/MgO/p-GaN heterojunction can only display electroluminescence(EL) characteristic in reverse bias regime. Under sufficient reversebias, a fairly pure ultraviolet EL emission located at 370 nm derivingfrom near band edge of ZnO with a full width at half maximum(FWHM) of 8.3 nm had been obtained, while the deep-level emissionhad been almost totally suppressed. The EL origination andcorresponding carrier transport mechanisms were investigatedqualitatively in terms of photoluminescence (PL) results and energyband diagram.

PURPOSE This research establishes a reasonable research model to investigate the relationship between the perceived risks, mitigating factors, and travel intentions of potential visitors to the Olympic Games under the COVID-19 epidemic environment. And examine the mediating role of mitigating factors between perceived risk and travel intention. METHOD This study conducted two online surveys with Chinese athletes as the survey subject, divided into two samples for the Tokyo Olympics and the Beijing Olympics. The data analysis process is divided into two stages. In the first stage, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) is used to test the reliability and validity of the scale. In the second stage, structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis is used to test the proposed hypothesis. Finally, the data test results of the two samples are compared. RESULT After the CFA test, the data fit well with the model, and the model had good combination reliability and convergence validity. On this basis, a structural equation model was established, and the mediation validity of the model was tested. CONCLUSION The results show that risk perception has a significant effect on mitigating factors, and mitigating factors have very significant positive effects on behavioral intentions. Mitigating factors mediate between risk perception and behavioral intentions.
A Novel Set-valued Observer Based State Estimation Algorithm for Nonlinear Systems
Shuai Zhang,Zi-Yun Wang,Yan Wang,Zhi-Cheng Ji 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2022 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.20 No.4
This study considers the state estimation problem for nonlinear models with unknown but bounded noises. A zonotopic set-valued observer based state estimation algorithm is proposed, and the unknown noise term is wrapped in a zonotope during each recursive step. The second-order polynomial Stirling interpolation improves the linearization accuracy and reduces the calculation amount. The method that combines sequence updating and tightening strips reduces the accumulation of errors and improves the estimation accuracy. Finally, the simulations on the Van der Pol nonlinear model and spring-mass-damper nonlinear model can visually illustrate the feasible parameter set variation process and motion trail of the zonotope, which demonstrates the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed algorithm.

Hawthorn (CFS) has commonly been applied as an important traditional Chinese medicine and food for thousands of years. The raw material of CFS is commonly processed by stir-frying to obtain yellow (CFY), dark brown (CFD), and carbon dark (CFC) colored products, which are used for different clinical uses. In this study, an intelligent sensory system (ISS) was used to obtain the color, gas, and flavor samples data, which were further employed to develop a novel and accurate method for the identification of CFS and its processed products using principal component analysis. Moreover, this research developed a model of an artificial neural network, which could be used to predict the total organic acid, total flavonoids, citric acid, hyperin, and 5-hydroxymethyl furfural via determination of the color, odor, and taste of a sample. In conclusion, the ISS and the artificial neural network are useful tools for rapid, accurate, and effective discrimination of CFS and its processed products.

Weiyi Shuai,XR Dong,Mingqi Yang,Wei Fu,Wenhua Cheng 제어로봇시스템학회 2017 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2017 No.10
Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) have been widely used in safety-related applications, for example, railway train control systems. Starting from the application of GNSS technology in railway train location, this paper analyzes the necessity of GNSS performance assessment based on the actual needs of train positioning. First, the application status of GNSS in train positioning at home and abroad is introduced. Second, the status quo of GNSS performance assessment is analyzed from four aspects: content of performance assessment, establishment of assessment benchmark, development of performance requirements standards and status of performance assessment. Finally, the development trend of GNSS performance assessment in China is analyzed, on basis of the integration of BDS emerging industry and the railway transportation system.

Abstract

A novel anticancer approach is to target cancer stem cells (CSCs), a rare subpopulation potentially associated with metastasis, resistance to chemotherapy, and recurrence of cancers. This study aimed to investigate the effects of amentoflavone, a natural compound identified from Chamaecyparis obtusa, on stemness of basal-like SUM159 breast CSCs, and its underlying mechanism of action. We found that amentoflavone suppressed tumorsphere formation and regulated the expression of the stem cell markers CD44, CD24, and ALDH1 in a dose dependent manner, and inhibited Hedgehog (Hh) signaling by down-regulating Smo, Gli1, OCT4, and NANOG. Knock-down of Gli1 by siRNA significantly affected the expression of CD44, CD24, ALDH1, OCT4, and NANOG, and reduced tumorsphere formation efficiency in SUM159 breast CSCs. Our findings indicate that amentoflavone inhibits SUM159 breast cancer stemness by suppressing Hh/Gli1 signaling, and is a potent agent for targeting breast CSCs.

Highlights

Amentoflavone inhibited tumorsphere formation of basal-like breast cancer stem cells (CSCs).

Amentoflaovne regulated the expression of CSC markers, CD44, CD24, ALDH1, OCT4 and NANOG in SUM159 breast CSCs.

Amentoflavone suppressed Hedgehog signaling mediators, Gli1 and Smo, leading to inhibition of breast CSCs stemness.

Graphical abstract

[DISPLAY OMISSION]

Background: Ginsenosides are the major effective ingredients responsible for the pharmacological effects of ginseng. Malonyl ginsenosides are natural ginsenosides that contain a malonyl group attached to a glucose unit of the corresponding neutral ginsenosides. Methods: Medium-pressure liquid chromatography and semipreparative high-performance liquid chromatography were used to isolate purified compounds and their structures determined by extensive one-dimensional- and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments. Results: A new saponin, namely malonyl-ginsenoside Re, was isolated from the fresh flower buds of Panax ginseng, along with malonyl-ginsenosides Rb1, Rb2, Rc, Rd. Some assignments for previously published ¹H- and 13C-NMR spectra were found to be inaccurate. Conclusion: This study reports the complete NMR assignment of malonyl-ginsenoside Re, Rb₁, Rb₂, Rc, and Rd for the first time.
