The On-line Electric Vehicle (OLEV) is an electric transport system in which the vehicle’s power is transferred wirelessly from power lines underneath the surface of the road. Advantages of the OLEV include reducing battery size and cost to about 20 percent of that of conventional battery-powered electric vehicles, thereby minimizing the vehicle’s weight and price, as well as the cost of charging the system. In this paper, we introduce a wireless power transfer mechanism to maximize the electrical performance of the power transfer system. Power transfer capacity, power transfer efficiency, and magnitude of leakage in the electromagnetic field (EMF) are analyzed, and the optimization methodology of the design parameters is discussed.

최근 철도의 수송 능력이 증가되어 현대 사회의 필수적인 요소가 됨에 따라 철도차량의 운행과 철도 시설의 안정성에 높은 신뢰성이 요구되며, 철도 사고 중 자살, 무단통행, 철도 건널목 사고는 아직도 많은 부분의 인명피해 비율을 차지하고 있다. 철도 선로의 장애물로 인한 사고는 수 많은 인명 피해를 초래할 수 있기 때문에 실시간으로 위험상황을 감지하여 경고를 주고 능동적으로 대처 할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 환경변화에 강인한 뇌 모방 시각 지능으로 위험 상황을 인식하는 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 자동차용 안전 운전 지원 기술로 성능이 입증된 뉴로모르픽 보행자 인식 연구를 철도 건널목 위험 상황 인식에 확장 적용하여 95% 이상 성공률을 검증하였다. The reliability and safety of the system has become an important issue as railroad network increasing significantly. The existing control equipment’s at the crossings are able to block for the approaching trains only. Also the existing obstacle detector cannot control effectively due to drawbacks in the detection range and its ability to detect the correct objects. In this paper, a safety railroad crossing system based on neuromorphic visual processing is suggested. Neuromorphic visual processing illustrates the robust performance of Advanced Driver Assistance System under harsh weather, and also assists the train driver by monitoring obstacles or pedestrians on the railroad efficiently. Experiments based on capture CCTV video clips from three different places demonstrated the 95% of successful detection rate in monitoring the railway crossings.

본 논문에서는 수중 무인 잠수정 시스템의 무선전력전송 기술의 적용과 이를 위한 주요 기술 및 문제점 해결 방안에 대해 논의하였다. 수중 장치에 무선충전 시스템을 적용하기 위해서는 높은 압력을 견디는 내압용기에 무선전력전송 시스템의 핵심인 코일을 어떻게 적용하는가에 대한 문제가 가장 중요하다. 일반적인 금속 용기의 경우 자기장 경로를 효율적으로 형성하기 위한 자성체의 활용이 필요하며, 무선전력전송 시스템 설계가 비교적 간단한 비금속 복합재질을 이용한 설계도 가능하다.

최근 개발된 온라인 전기자동차는, 도로면 아래에 매설된 급전선로에 의해 발생된 자기장을 차량 하부에 설치된 집전장치로 전달하고 이를 차량의 동력원으로 사용하는 새로운 방식의 전기자동차이다. 기존의 전기자동차에 비해 배터리의 용량을 1/5 수준으로 감소시킴으로써, 전기자동차의 무게와 가격을 감소시키고, 충전소 설치와 운영에 관한 문제점을 근본적으로 해결할 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는, 온라인 전기자동차의 개념과 효율적인 비접촉식 자기장 전달 방식을 소개하고, 급전장치와 집전장치 사이의 강한 자기장의 전달을 유지하면서 외부로 누설되는 자기장이 최소화할 수 있는 기술을 설명한다. 실제로 전파법이 정하는 규격을 만족시킨 서울대공원 코끼리열차 사례를 통해 향후 온라인 전기자동차의 자기장 차폐 기술의 방향에 대해 논한다.

Dynamic self-assembly of droplets, regular structure formation of moving deformable objects in a confinement environment is a challenging problem in nonlinear dynamics and engineering patterned structure. In the current work, we investigated how the local kinematic history affects the dynamic self-assembly of picoliter-sized droplets near the expansion regions in microfluidic devices. The local kinematic history was controlled by the shape of the expansion region and characterized using computational fluid dynamics. Size-controlled aqueous droplets in light mineral oil were continuously generated at T-junction microchannel and transported toward the expansion region. The fast dynamics of the droplets was tracked using high-speed video microscopy. We found three types of dynamic droplet arrays: 1D, 2D zigzag, and irregular. The order-disorder transition was associated not only with the droplet size, but also with the controlled local kinematic history, which results in the transient deformation of droplet and droplet-droplet interactions. The present results provide us with insight into the dynamic self-assembly of droplets and could be a useful guide for practical applications of droplet-based microfluidics.

High-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is the most important factor in promoting resuscitation outcomes; therefore,monitoring the quality of CPR is strongly recommended in current CPR guidelines. Recently, transesophageal echocardiography(TEE) has been proposed as a potential real-time feedback modality because physicians can obtain clearechocardiographic images without interfering with CPR. The quality of CPR would be optimized if the myocardial ejectionfraction (EF) could be calculated in real-time during CPR. We conducted a study to derive a protocol to detect systole anddiastole automatically and calculate EF using TEE images acquired from patients with cardiac arrest. The data were supplementedusing thin-plate spline transformation to solve the problem of insufficient data. The deep learning model wasconstructed based on ResUNet + + , and a monogenic filtering method was applied to clarify the ventricular boundary. Theperformance of the model to which the monogenic filter was added and the existing model was compared. The left ventriclewas segmented in the ME LAX view, and the left and right ventricles were segmented in the ME four-chamber view. Inmost of the results, the performance of the model to which the monogenic filter was added was high, and the difference wasvery small in some cases; but the performance of the existing model was high. Through this learned model, the effect ofCPR can be quantitatively analyzed by segmenting the ventricle and quantitatively analyzing the degree of contraction ofthe ventricle during systole and diastole.

<P>We report a new phenomenon that particles are selectively entrained along the corners of a straight rectangular microchannel according to their deformabilities under viscoelastic flows of a polymer solution. The mechanism behind this phenomenon is elucidated by the competition between the wall lift force induced by the particle deformability and the elastic force of the medium at the corners. On the basis of these findings, we devise a novel label-free deformability-selective cell-separation method, which achieves the high-purity separation of rigid particles and rigidified red blood cells (RBCs) from fresh RBCs in a single step, without any active components such as an electric force or sophisticated channel design. 화학재난 발생시 현장대응 요원들은 사건 원인물질의 성상과 잔류오염 농도를 신속 정확하게 파악해야 한다. 또한 화학재난 현장에서의 적절한 대응절차 진행을 위해서는 화학물질의 성상과 오염농도 확인은 필수적이다. 이를 위해 현장에서 사용하는 각 장비의 특징을 알아보고자 한다. 현장대응장비는 모든 화학물질을 확인할 수 없으며, 각 장비별로 물질탐지에 제한적이다. 장비별 물질탐지 범위와 상호보완성을 고려해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 현장 활용장비인 간이탐지 킷과 검지관식 탐지장비, 전자식 탐지장비의 신속한 현장 활용을 위한 대응절차를 마련하여 현장대응에 도움을 주고자 한다.
