      • The Stability and Indium Diffusion from ITO to PPV Layer of Polymer Light Emitting Devices with / without PI Blocking Layer

        Polymer EL devices of glass/ITO/PI/MEH-PPV/Al structure were fabricated using spin coating and the Ionized Cluster Beam deposition technique. PMDA-ODA type thin polyimide films which can be used as a impurity blocking layer of EL device were deposited by ICB. According to our previous results, the packing densities of polyimide films were subject to change and depend on their deposition condition. By inserting a Pl layer with various thickness and packing density, I-V characteristics and life time of the devices were investigated to determine the role of a interlayer. The blocking of impurity diffusion from ITO to luminescent layer were confirmed by XPS.

        Prevalence and Correlates of DSM-IV Mental Disorders in South Korean Adults: The Korean Epidemiologic Catchment Area Study 2011

        Objective-The aim of this study was to estimate the prevalence and correlates of mental disorders in Korean adults. Methods-Door to door household surveys were conducted with community residents aged 18–74 years from July 19, 2011, to November 16, 2011 (n=6,022, response rate 78.7%). The sample was drawn from 12 catchment areas using a multistage cluster method. Each subject was assessed using the Korean version of the World Health Organization Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV). Results-Lifetime and 12-month prevalence estimates were as follows: alcohol use disorders, 13.4% and 4.4%, respectively; nicotine use disorders, 7.2% and 4.0%, respectively; anxiety disorders, 8.7% and 6.8%, respectively; and mood disorders, 7.5% and 3.6%, respectively. The prevalence rates of all types of DSM-IV mental disorders were 27.6% and 16.0%, respectively. Being female; young; divorced, separated, or widowed; and in a low-income group were associated with mood and anxiety disorders after adjustment for various demographic variables, whereas being male and young were associated with alcohol use disorders. Higher income was not correlated with alcohol use disorder as it had been in the 2001 survey. Conclusion-The rate of depressive disorders has increased since 2001 (the first national survey), whereas that of anxiety disorders has been relatively stable. The prevalence of nicotine and alcohol use disorders has decreased, and the male-to-female ratio of those with this diagnosis has also decreased.

        AFS 횡력 제한조건 하에서 ESC와 AFS를 이용한 최적 요 모멘트 분배

        본 논문에서는 능동 전륜 조향장치(AFS)에 의한 횡력의 크기가 제한된 상황에서 자세 제어장치(ESC)와 능동 전륜 조향(AFS)을 이용한 통합 새시 제어기의 최적 요모멘트 분배 방법을 제안한다. 차량을 안정화시키는데 필요한 제어 요모멘트는 슬라이딩모드 제어이론을 이용하여 구한다. 가중 역행렬 기반 제어 할당 방법을 이용하여 제어 요모멘트를 ESC의 제동력과 AFS의 추가 조향각으로 분배한다. 저마찰 노면에서 AFS에 의한 횡력이 물리적 최대값을 초과하는 경우 제어 요모멘트를 제대로 만들어내지 못하므로 가중 역행렬 기반 제어 할당 방법을 이용하여 AFS에 의한 횡력의 크기를 제한하고 ESC의 제동력으로 부족한 제어 요모멘트를 보상하는 방법을 제안한다. 차량 시뮬레이션 패키지인 CarSim<SUP>®</SUP>에서 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 AFS에 의한 횡력이 물리적 최대값을 초과하는 경우 제안된 방법이 차량의 조종 안정성과 횡방향 안정성을 향상시킨다는 사실을 검증했다. This paper presents an integrated chassis control with electronic stability control (ESC) and active front steering (AFS) under lateral force constraint on AFS. The control yaw moment is calculated using a sliding mode control. The tire forces generated by ESC and AFS are determined using weighted pseudo-inverse based control allocation (WPCA) in order to generate the control yaw moment. On a low friction road, AFS is not effective when the lateral tire forces of front wheels are easily saturated. To solve problem, the lateral force of AFS is limited to its maximum and the braking of ESC is applied with WPCA. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method, a simulation was performed on the vehicle simulation package, CarSim<SUP>®</SUP>. From the simulation, it was verified that the proposed method could enhance the maneuverability and lateral stability if the lateral force of AFS exceeds its maximum.

        중년기 성인의 노화불안이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 : 인지적 유연성과 자기자비의 순차매개효과

        이 연구의 목적은 중년기 성인의 노화불안이 인지적 유연성과 자기자비의 수준을 감소시키는 순차매개효과를 통해서 심리적 안녕감에 부정적 영향을 미친다는 가설을 경험적으로 검증하는 것이었다. 이를 위해, 40~64세 연령의 중년기 성인 남녀 371명의 자기보고 자료를 수집하여 통계적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 중년기 성인의 노화불안은 인지적 유연성, 자기자비, 심리적 안녕감과 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 또한 중년기 성인의 노화불안이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 부정적 영향을 인지적 유연성과 자기자비가 순차적으로 매개하는 것으로 밝혀져서, 이 연구의 가설이 검증되었다. 이것은 노화불안을 경험하고 있는 중년기 성인의 심리적 안녕감을 향상시키는 데 인지적 유연성을 회복하고 자기자비를 함양하는 개입전략이 유익할 수 있음을 시사하는 결과였다. 마지막으로 이러한 결과의 임상적 함의 및 연구의 한계를 논의하였다. The aim of this study was to investigate the serial mediating effects of cognitive flexibility and self-compassion on the relationship between aging anxiety and psychological well-being of middle age adults. Self-report data collected from 371 male and female adults were analyzed. The results showed that cognitive flexibility and self-compassion serially mediated the relationship between aging anxiety and psychological well-being. Based on the findings, authors discussed clinical implications and methodological limitations of this study in the context of psychological intervention.

        In vitro and in vivo evaluation of kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) as a roughage source for beef cattle

        Objective: The goal of this study was to evaluate kenaf as a roughage source in vitro and its effects on meat quality of Hanwoo (Korean native) cattle. Methods: Three roughage materials, rice straw silage, ryegrass silage, and kenaf silage, were tested in a batch culture and feeding trial. Rumen fermentation parameters, including gas, pH, volatile fatty acid (VFA), and ammonia were analyzed. In the feeding trial, Hanwoo steers ($373.5{\pm}5.1kg$, n = 36, 11 month of age) were divided into three feeding groups (n = 12 each). Animals were fed with each silage and concentrate until the fattening stage. Results: Crude protein, ether extract, and non-structural carbohydrates were greater in kenaf silage. Total gas production was higher in ryegrass silage, followed by kenaf silage and rice straw silage (p<0.05). Total VFA and individual VFA (acetate, propionate, and n-butyrate) were greater in kenaf silage than rice straw silage (p<0.05). In vitro dry matter digestibility showed a similar trend to that of total gas and VFA production; it was higher in ryegrass silage and lower in rice straw (p<0.05). Throughout the feeding trial, the rice straw silage group showed significantly greater average daily gain than did the others (p<0.05). The feed conversion ratio in the group fed kenaf silage was significantly greater than that of others (p<0.05). No significant differences were observed in yield or quality traits, including carcass weight, ribeye area, backfat thickness, and scores for marbling, meat color, and fat color (p>0.05). Conclusion: The results indicated that no negative effects on growth performance and carcass characteristics occurred across treatments. Therefore, kenaf could be substituted for rice straw, which is most widely used as a roughage source in Korea.

        Effects of Sling Exercise on Balance and Gait in Patients with Stroke: Meta-Analysis of Studies in Korea

        Background: Stroke patients have multiple disorders, but most have problems with balance and gait. Post-stroke rehabilitation exercise has been shown to be very important for functional recovery. Objectives: To systematically review and meta-analyze the effects of sling exercise (SE) on patients with stroke in studies published in Korea. Design: Meta-analysis. Methods: Five databases, namely, RISS, KISS, NDSL, DBpia and Earticle, were used to collect articles on vibration. Keywords such as “Stroke,” “Hemiplegia,” “Sling,” and “Sling Exercise” were used in the search for published articles. Interventions and comparisons were SE and other exercise (OE). Outcome measures were berg balance scale (BBS) and timed up and go (TUG). Consequently, eight studies were selected in the second screening using meta-analyses. Results: Based on the results of the meta-analysis, SE was effective for BBS in the comparison of SE and OE [2.71, 95% CI (1.42, 4.01)]. It was effective for TUG in the comparison of SE and OE [-1.89, 95% CI (-3.01, -0.77)]. Conclusion: Based on eight limited studies, SE improved BBS and TUG over OE, suggesting improved stroke balance and gait. Therefore, more studies and large-scale sample randomized controlled trials are needed to confirm clinical application.

        극초음속 미사일은 전 세계에서 가장 많은 관심을 받는 군사기술이다. 러시아, 중국, 미국이 주도하고 있고 다른 나라 역시 경쟁적으로 동참하고 있다. 극초음속 미사일은 탄도미사일과 순항미사일의 장점을 모두 혼합한 미사일로 기존 방어체계로는 요격이 쉽지 않다. 해군은 기술군으로 과학기술 발전은 해양전략에 많은 영향을 미쳐왔다. 해양전략의 핵심은 해양통제다. 이는 점령보다 해양의 사용권리에 대한 문제이며 확보는 수단이고 행사하는 것이 그 목적이다. 극초음속 미사일은 해양통제의 확보 면에서 제한요인으로 작용한다. 극초음속 미사일의 빠른 속력과 강력한 파괴력은 요격이 어려울 뿐만 아니라 단 한발에도 손상통제가 의미없는 수준의 피해가 발생한다. 이로 인해 해양거부능력이 지리적, 질적으로 향상됨에 따라 해양통제 달성이 어려워 질 것이다. 극초음속 미사일은 해양력투사/방어, 해상교통로 공격/방어라는 해양통제 행사면에서는 각각 기회요인과 제한요인으로 동시에 작용한다. The military technology currently receiving the most attention is the hypersonic missile. hypersonic is faster than the speed of sound or Mach 5+. The vast majority of the ballistic missiles that it inspired achieved hypersonic speeds as they fell from the sky. Rather than speed, today's renewed attention to hypersonic weapons owes to developments that enable controlled flight. These new systems have two sub-varieties: hypersonic glide vehicles and hypersonic cruise missiles. Hypersonic weapons could challenge detection and defense due to their speed, maneuverability, and low altitude of flight. The fundamental question of this study is: 'What effect will the hypersonic missile have on the maritime strategy?' It is quite prudent to analyze and predict the impact of technology in the development stage on strategy in advance. However, strategy is essential because it affect future force construction. hypersonic missiles act as a limiting factor in securing sea control. The high speed and powerful destructive power of the hypersonic missile are not only difficult to intercept, but it also causes massive ship damage at a single shot. As a result, it is analyzed that the Securing sea control will be as difficult as the capacity of sea denial will be improved geographically and qualitatively. In addition, the concept of Fortress Fleet, which was criticized for its passive strategy in the past, could be reborn in a modern era. There are maritime power projection/defence, SLOC attack/defence in exploiting sea control. The effects of hypersonic missiles on exploiting sea control could be seen as both limiting and opportunity factors.
