운동과 중탄산나트륨 투여가 세포막 투과성 변화에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 근피로현상을 규명하기 위한 요인으로서 세포막 투과성의 변화를 평가하는것 이었으며,중탄산나트륨 투여가 세포막 투과성의변화에 미치는 영향을 규명하는것이었다. 신체건강한 성인남자 8명이 연구의 피험자로 동원 되었으며 이들은 400m 트랙에서 1500m 최대런닝을 수행하였으며 이후 중탄산나트륨 300mg/kg.wt의 섭취후에 동일한 실험을 반복하여 수행하였다. 중탄산나트륨 투여전 1500m 최대런닝에 따라 Na??(P<0.01) Ca????(P<0.05)은 크게 증가된 수준을 나타내었으나 K??, Glucose, LDH 및 Pi농도는 증가된 수준을 나타내었으나 유의한차(P<0.05)는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 중탄산나트륨 투여후 1500m 최대런닝에 따른 Na??(P<0.0001)과 Pi(P<0.0001) 농도는 크게 증가되었으나 그 밖의 변인에서는 증가된 수준을 유지하였으나 유의한 차 (P<0.05)는 없는것으로 나타났다. 또한 중탄산나트륨 투여 전, 후간 차를 비교하여 보았을때 1500m 런닝직후 Ca????(P< 0.01)에서만 유의한 차를 나타내었으며, 그 밖의 어떠한 변인에서도 유의한차(P<0.05)는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 1500m 최대런닝에 따라 세포막 투과성의 변화는 피로에 기여하는 중요한 요인이 된다는 것을 평가할 수 있었으며, 1500m 최대런닝으로 유발된 세포막 투과성의 변화는 중탄산나트륨 투여에 의해서는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못한다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다. The purpose of this paper was to estimate the changes of cell membrane permeability as indicator of muscle fatigue, and the effect of sodium bicarbonate ingestion. Eight male was participated as subject of this study. Subjects were performed a 1500m maximal running as control, Also as sodium bicarbonate ingestion(300mg/kg. wt). In the experiment of control, Na?? (p<0.01) and Ca???? (p<0.05) was shown significant differnce follows 1500m running, but was not shown significant difference(p)0.05) in the K??, Glucose, LDH and Pi concentration. In the experiment of NaHCO?? ingestion, Na (p<0.0001) and Pi(p<0.0001) concentration was significantly increased levels, but was not displyed a significant difference(p >0.05) in other factors. Also, only Ca????, Compared before with after of NaHCO?? ingestion, after 1500m maximal running was shown a significant difference(p <0.01), but was not shown a significant difference(p>0.05) in other factors. We concluded that, The changes of cell membrane permeability followed 1500m maximal running estimated as important factors to induce a muscle fatigue. However, the changes of cell membrane permeability was not proved the improved effect as sodium bicarbonate ingestion.

In this study, I have tried to seek the reality of scholarship of English Literature in Korea to-day. Actually, as most of Korean scholars of English Literature excluding the linguistics, have few facikites of instrument to study English Literature : it seems to me, they can hardly hope to produce any creative work in the field. But I insisted that if they have integrty of their own, they will, probably, have an opportunity to contribute to the development of scholarship of English Literature. As references, I have done my best to seek the methods of Dr. F.R. Leavis and Dr. Douglas Bush and to solve the difficulties in front of Korean scholars, who have their ambition to take over the tradition of their senior scholars who were their pioneers in the academic world of English Studies.

매 순간마다 생의 환희를 느끼며 산다는 것은 대단히 중요하다. 사명감을 갖고 주변 사람들에게, 생이 행복하다는 것을 깨우쳐준다는 것은 무척 어려운 일이다. D.H. Law-rence는 이 어려운 일을 자신있게 수행할 수 있는 천부적 소질을 갖고 있었다. 어려서부터 황홀한 정신적 세계를 발견해서 자기자신의 향상 뿐 아니라, 그가 대하게 되는 모든 사람들에게 생의 의의를 깨우쳐준 그는 시인 작가이기에 앞서 생의 교사이었다. 일찌기 시인 Wordsworhs는 위대한 시인은 교사이며, 자기자신이 인생의 교사가 되기를 갈망한다고 말했고 그렇지 않으면 무가치한 존재라고 했다.

Robert Burns의 Songs 硏究

This essay is to seek the meaning of the poetic values inherent in the Songs of Robert Burns-to pick out their literary qualities and to assess Burns's as the poetic description of life. One of the most delightful things about songs is that song do not up much space on the page than prose. In countries with a strong tradition of puritanism there has been a disposition to look down on songs for that reason, and to regard song-writion as an essentially lower order of poetic pursuit. It is, therefore, not altogother surprising that there has been considerable disagreement about the importance of the song in relation to the whole course of Burns's poetic develoment. Two mine answers have been given to this last question during the hundred and eighty years since the poet's death of 1796. The first of these holds that Burns's preoccupation with the songs after 1787 was on the whole. a trivial thing; a conclusion which follows from the austere assumption that song-writing is only, at best, a marginal occupation. Thus, although Sir Walter Scott likedmany of the songs, and although he was carefully to say "Let no one suppose that we undervalue Burns's songs," from what he says about his songs it is clear that in practice he thought Burns's songs less worthy than grander and mere imposing poems. Rebert Louis Stevenson was of the poinion that "during the remainder of life"-that is to say, after 1786-Burns rarely found courage for any more sustained effort than a song," and that "it is not the less typical of his loss of moral courage that he should have given up all larger ventures, nor the less melancholy that a man who first sttacked literature with a hand that seemed capable of moving mountains, should have spent his later years in whitting cherry- stones"; and when in his essay on "the Politics of Burns," W.P. Ker says that "Burns as a poet is to be judged by the work of those years"-that is, by the work of 1781∼6-he implicitly dissmisses the songs as intrincically less important. The other assessment of the place of the songs in Burns's poetic career is that put for ward as early as 1809 by Francis Jeffrey, when he prophesied that Burns's songs would "transmit the name of Burns to all future generations." Echoed and developed by William Hazlitt, Thomas Carlyle, Lord Tennyson and other many lesser commentators, this judgement has almost completely ousted the conception of Scott and Stevenson, although traces of it can sometimes be found in the comments of modern acedemic critices. An interesting variant of this second opinion is Prof. Fergusson"s centention that the true bent of Burns's genius was in the direction of lyrical composition, and that even the great satirical and comic poems of the Kilmarnock period were in a sense deviations from his real mission in life. From the second point of view, I am going to try to re-consider the poetic values of Burns's songs.

R.W. Emerson의 「自然」

영국의 역대 시인들의 여러 작품에 묘사된 자연을 고찰해서 그 제특징을 밝혀 보는 일은 무척 보람찬 일이지만, 그 범위가 너무 넓기 때문에, 이곳에서는 먼저 19세기 미국의 대표적 사상가인 Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803~1882)의 자연관을 살펴 그 특징을 고찰해 보고자 한다. 그는 1856년에 출간한 English Traits에서 그의 최초의 grand tour (1832~1833)에서 처음으로 영국의 자연을 보고 느낌 경이적 인상을 세밀하게 분석, 해부해 보여주고 있다. 필자는 Emerson의 Nature (1836)에 결정된 그의 사상의 핵심을 파악함으로서 영국시인들의 자연관의 변천과정을 보다 선명하게 이해할 수 있는 계기를 마련해 보고자 한다.

韓國食品中 有毒性 眞菌의 代射産物이 HeLa cell에 미치는 細胞毒性效果에 關한 硏究

The culture filtrates of twenty-four fungal strains isolated from diverse sources in Korean foods-were tested for detection of mycotoxin-producing fungi and toxic effects produced in HeLa cells. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Fifteen strains(62.5%) were toxic to HeLa cells. 2. Among these, 4 isolates(16.7%) were shown to be markedly, 5 (20.8%) moderately, 6 (25. 0%) slightly and 9 (37.5%) not toxic to HeLa cells. 3. The effects of the culture filtrates on HeLa cells involved morphological changes such as granulation and clumping, accumulation of mitotic cells, appearance of polynuclear cells and mitotic figures possibly arrested at metaphase. Consequent atypism of HeLa cells was often seen.
