This research presents a new active auxiliary resonant snubber with for induction heating PWM high frequency inverter solving the problem of induction heating PWM high frequency inverter circuit which is using widely in the practical application of an induction heating apparatus, the soft switching operation and power control are impossible when the lowest power supply in the active auxiliary resonant snubber with for induction heating PWM high frequency inverter. The inverter circuit which is attempted by the on-off operation of a switch has the effect of reducing the power loss due to soft switching and high frequency switching. This confirms that power regulation is possible on a continuous basis from 0.25[kW] to 2.84[kW] where the duty factor (D) changes from 0.08 to 0.3 under zero current switching which operates by an asymmetrical pulse width modulating control. The power conversion efficiency is 95[%]. Due to these results, the active auxiliary resonant snubber for an induction heating PWM high frequency inverter is considered effective as a source of induction heating.
VDUP1 Is Required for the Development of Natural Killer Cells

<P><B>Summary</B></P><P>Vitamin D<SUB>3</SUB> upregulated protein 1 (VDUP1) is a stress-response gene that is upregulated by 1,25(OH)<SUB>2</SUB>D<SUB>3</SUB> in tumor cells. The in vivo roles of VDUP1 were investigated by producing mice lacking VDUP1 (VDUP1<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice). VDUP1<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice showed minimal changes in the development of T and B cells, but there was a profound reduction in the numbers of natural killer (NK) cells. As well, these mice showed decreased NK activity. In the VDUP1<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice, the expression of CD122 was reduced, demonstrating that VDUP1 is required for CD122 expression and NK maturation. In addition, severe lymphoid hyperplasia in the small intestine was observed in VDUP1<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice. Taken together, these results suggest that VDUP1 is a critical factor for the development and function of NK cells in vivo.</P>
New Calculation of Charge Generation Efficiency and Photocurrent in Organic Photoconducting Device

A new approach was applied to examine the charge generation and transport in organic photoconductive devices by Monte‐Carlo simulation utilizing multiple site interactions of carriers with all other charges within Coulomb radius. Stepwise generation frame was considered first by a charge separation process that was counted in two separate transactions, i.e., hopping against physical decay and dissociation against recombination. Thereafter, diffusion/ drifting process of free carriers was counted to follow. This method enables to examine readily the photocurrent generated alongside the charge generation efficiency. The field and temperature dependences of the efficiency and photocurrent were obtained comparable to Onsager’s and experimental data.

同一濃度의 glucose(50mM)와 lysine(50mM)을 citrate buffer(pH 7.0) 中에서 反應시켰을 때의 最適 反應條件은 100℃와 pH 10.0이며 activation energy는 45.7㎉ mole^(-3)이었다. 各種 아미노酸 中에서 lysine이 가장 큰 初期反應速度와 E^(1%)_(365)^(㎝)값을 나타냈으며 Maillard 反應에 敏感하였다. 또 sodium sulfite(20mM)와 sodium bisulfite(100mM)를 添加시켰을 때 各各 70%와 90% 以上의 褐變抑制效果를 나타냈다.

This paper presents an innovative prototype of a new conceptual electromagnetic induction-based fluid heating appliance using voltage-ted type series capacitor-compensated load resonant high-frequency IGBT inverter with a phase-shifted PWM and a power factor correction schemes. Its operating characteristics in steady-state are illustrated including unique features and evaluated on the basis of its computer simulation and experimental results of 10kw breadboard appliance for hot water producer and superheated steamer. The promising cost effective inverter-fed boiler appliances lor electromagnetic induction-heated type fluid-heating in the pipeline systems are proposed for induction-heated boiler, super heat steamer, high temperature water producer, hot gas producer and metal catalyst heating tor exhaust gas cleaning in engine, which are more suitable and acceptable for industrial, chemical, and censurer energy utilization for household and business from a practical point of view.
