      • Research on Online Reviews Diagnosis’ Effects on Perceptual Information Symmetry

        Background/Objectives: In this thesis, an empirical study was conducted on consumers’ diagnosis on online reviews in the process of purchasing. Methods/Statistical analysis: In order to verify the viewpoint of this research, this study chooses consumers who have the experience of searching online reviews as the research object, collects data based on a questionnaire from 64 men and 61 women and uses Smart PLS to verify the structural model. Findings: The results of this research are as follows: first, the review diagnosticity sufficiency has positive (+) effects on perceptual information symmetry. Second, the diagnosis on positive online reviews has positive (+) effects on perceptual information symmetry. Third, the diagnosis on negative online reviews has positive (+) effects on perceptual information symmetry. Improvements/Applications: The implications of this study are verifies the effects of the diagnosis of commodities’ online reviews, diagnosis of positive and negative online reviews on consumers’ perceptual information symmetry.

        A deep learning approach using temporal-spatial data of computational fluid dynamics for fast property prediction of gas-solid fluidized bed

        To deal with the critical issue of long computational time in practical application of computational fluiddynamics (CFD), this paper presents a new approach of deep learning for voidage prediction (DeepVP) that couplesshort time CFD simulations (limited CFD iterations) with the deep learning method to accelerate the 2D voidage distributionprediction for a gas-solid fluidized bed at steady state. Short time CFD simulations are first performed toobtain a sequence of voidage distribution images containing the temporal-spatial property of a gas-solid fluidized bed ofthe early period. A deep learning model is built to predict the voidage distribution at steady state, which is achieved byimplementing multi-scale convolutional neural networks based on the sequence of voidage images. The case study resultsfor a bubbling bed show that the voidage distribution at steady state for the bubbling bed can be predicted with comparableaccuracy of conventional CFD simulations at about 1/30th computational cost. Moreover, the DeepVP methodexhibits better extrapolation capability than the deep learning approach merely based on CFD condition parameters.

        필터버블과 프라이버시 염려가 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 세대 간 비교연구: 유튜브 추천동영상 사용자를 중심으로

        본 연구는 유튜브 동영상 플랫폼이 개인화 추천시스템을 통하여 제공하는 추천동영상 서비스로 인하여 발생하는 정보다양성 감소로 인한 필터버블 현상과 프라이버시 염려에도 불구하고 추천동영상을 지속적으로 이용하고자 하는 프라이버시 역설 현상에 초점을 맞추어 이러한 현상이 발생하는지, 그리고 20대와 50대의 두 집단을 대상으로 어떠한 차이가 존재하는지를 실증분석을 통해 확인하고자 하였다. 실증분석 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정보다양성 감소에도 불구하고 추천동영상을 지속적으로 이용할 것인지 분석한 결과, 추천동영상의 유용성이 존재할 경우 정보다양성 감소에도 불구하고 지속이용의도는 강하게 나타남을 확인하였다. 둘째, 추천동영상의 유용성을 전제할 경우, 프라이버시 염려에도 불구하고 추천동영상을 지속적으로 이용하고자 하는 프라이버시 역설 현상이 나타나는지를 분석한 결과 20대와 50대를 모두 포함한 설문대상 전체를 대상으로 프라이버시 역설 현상이 나타나지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 20대와 50대를 나누어 각각 살펴본 경우에는 다른 결과가 나타났음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 프라이버시 역설 현상이 20대와 50대에 어떤 차이를 보이는지 분석한 결과, 20대의 경우 프라이버시 역설 현상이 나타나지 않았으나 50대의 경우에는 프라이버시 역설 현상이 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. This study tires to find filter bubble and privacy paradox phenomenon when users are watching recommended videos provided by Youtube platform. For this purpose, the relationship among reduced information diversity, filter bubble and intention to use during using recommended videos in Youtube platform are empirically analyzed. Especially whether generation gap between twenties and fifties exists is also analyzed. According to the research results, some important implications are found. First, the relationship between reduced information diversity and continuous use of recommended videos is tested. These two concepts have strong positive relationship according to the research result. Second, the relationship between privacy concern and continuous use of recommended videos are tested in order to find privacy paradox. According to the research result, privacy paradox doesn’t exist in whole group, but generation gap between twenties and fifties are found to exist. Third, inter-generational differences in the privacy paradox are analyzed. According to the research result, older generation(50’s) shows privacy paradox phenomenon but younger generation(20’s) doesn’t show.

        Identification and characterization of atypical porcine pestivirus genomes in newborn piglets with congenital tremor in China

        Recently, a novel atypical porcine pestivirus (APPV) in pig was reported. In this study, two APPV strains, APPV-China/GZ01/2016 (GZ01) and APPV-China/GD-SD/2016 (GD-SD), were identified in two newborn piglet herds with congenital tremor from China. The open reading frame of the two strains shared an 83.5% nucleotide identity. Phylogenetically, the APPV strains were placed into two groups: GZ01 belonged to group I and GD-SD belonged to group II. A high viral load was detected in the cerebellum (quantification cycles < 26). Further studies should be carried out to thoroughly elucidate the development of congenital tremors caused by APPV.

        Exploration of the Glycosyltransferase BmmGT1 from a Marine-Derived Bacillus Strain as a Potential Enzyme Tool for Compound Glycol-Diversification

        Glycosyltransferases (GTs) from microbes are an emerging and rich source for efficient glycol-transformation of natural/unnatural compounds. Here, we probed the catalytic capability and substrate promiscuity of BmmGT1 from marine-derived Bacillus methylotrophicus B-9987. The regioselectivity of BmmGT1 on macrolactin A (1) was explored by optimization of the reaction conditions, in which a series of O-glycosylated macrolactins (1a-1e) were generated, including two new di/tri-O-glucosyl analogs (1b and 1e). Furthermore, BmmGT1 was able to catalyze the glycosylation of the thiol (S-) or amine (N-) sites of phenolic compounds (2 and 3), leading to the generation of N- (2a) or S-glycosides (3a and 3b). The present study demonstrates that BmmGT1 could serve as a potential enzyme tool for O-, N-, or S-glycosyl structural diversification of compounds for drug discovery.

        틱톡 광고의 정보성, 상호작용성, 방해성이 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 실용적 가치와 헤도닉 가치의 매개효과를 중심으로

        Snack culture, which can be easily enjoyed and consumed in a short period of time just like eating sweets, is spreading rapidly. Among them, TikTok is gaining popularity mainly among the MZ generation, and TikTok is rapidly emerging as a means of advertising or marketing. In this study, we studied the effect of TikTok Advertising's informativeness, interactivity, and impediment on brand attitudes. Previous studies have suggested that brand attitudes are formed through usefulness. However, this study divided usefulness into utilitarian value and hedonic value, and proved that brand attitudes are formed through these mediation variables. This is because of the TikTok advertising includes entertainment as well as usefulness. Therefore, this study established and verified the model in which informativeness, interactivity, and impediment of TikTok advertising form brand attitude through utilitarian value and hedonic value. In order to verify this research model, survey questionnaires were distributed to TikTok users and a total of 220 data samples were collected and analyzed. As a result of data analysis, informativeness and interactivity have a positive effect on utilitarian value and hedonic value, but impediment has a negative effect. In addition, informativeness, interactivity, impediment influenced brand attitudes through practical value and hedonic value, not directly influencing brand attitudes. This study is meaningful in that it suggests a marketing strategy that can further enhance brand attitude by considering utilitarian value and hedonic value simultaneously, rather than focusing on either utilitarian value or hedonic value.

        The Element Segregation Between γ/γʹ Phases in a Ni-Based Single Crystal Superalloy Studied by 3D-APT and Its Potential Impact on Local Interfacial Misfit Strain

        Three-dimensional atom-probe tomography was used to characterize the γ/γʹ interface structure in a third-generation Nibasedsingle crystal superalloy with Re addition. It was found that an element-segregation layer with Re, Co and Cr wasformed in the γ phase close to the γ/γ′ interface, resulting in a more negative local interface misfit (− 0.29%) compared tothe measured result (− 0.16%) from high-resolution X-ray diffraction. Furthermore, the total reduction of interfacial freeenergy due to the solute atom segregation based on the Gibbsian interfacial excess was calculated to indicate that Re elementwas the most beneficial element in producing this more negative local misfit with the largest interfacial free energy reduction(13.67 ± 0.21 mJ/m2). Simultaneously, because of the co-segregation of Re, Co and Cr, and the depletion of Ni in the γphase close to the γ/γ′ interface, it was also deduced that some harmful topologically close-packed phases might be easierto nucleate and grow in the γ phase close to the γ/γ′ interface in service.

        Efficacy of an adhesive nanopesticide on insect pests of rice in field trials

        Nanopesticides with antiwashing capacity on leaves are the most promising new approaches for sustainable pest management and have been fully evaluated in the laboratory. However, few studies have tested these nanopesticides on pests, and their efficacy under field conditions has not been investigated. In this study, an adhesive hollow mesoporous silica hybrid with well-defined spherical shape and good monodispersity was used as a nanocarrier of cyantraniliprole (CNAP) to fabricate an adhesive nanopesticide (CNAP-HMS-PDAAM). The control efficacy of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM was tested under field conditions. The results indicated that the efficacy of four doses of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM (30.0–69.0 g a.i./ha) against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guénee) 3, 7, and 14 days after spraying did not significantly differ from that of Benevia (34.5 g a.i./ha). Twenty-eight days after spraying, the efficacy of all four doses of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM was significantly better than that of Benevia. Additionally, the efficacy of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM at doses of 34.5, 39.0 and 69.0 g a.i./ha against Chilo suppressalis (Walker) were significantly higher than that of Benevia (34.5 g a.i./ha). Thus, CNAP-HMS-PDAAM showed long-term control efficacies against C. medinalis (Guénee) and C. suppressalis (Walker), mainly due to its strong adhesive property on rice leaves and its sustained release properties. In addition, the nanocarriers showed good biocompatibility and had no obvious influence on the growth of rice.
