구매력평가설(Thory of Purchasing Power Parity)에 관한 문헌을 개관하여 보면 구매력평가설이 성립하기 위한 가정의 적합성에 관하여 상당한 논란의 여지가 있음을 알 수 있다. 지금까지 행해진 경험적 분석들은 미국·유럽 및 일본경제에 있어서 구매력 평가설의 성립여부를 검정한 것 들이었다. 이러한 검정결과들은 구매력평가설이 성립하는 것을 옹호하는 편이지만, 그 암묵적 가정은 구매력평가설이 유사한 산업구조를 갖고 있는 국가들 사이에 성립한다는 것이다. 그러나 이러한 가정은 적절하지 못하다. 이러한 관점에서, 한국경제를 주축으로 한 환태평양지역에서 구매력평가설의 성과를 규명코자 시계열분석의 일환인 공적분 검정(Cointegration Test)과 단위근 검정(Unit Root Test)을 하였다. 공적분 검정결과에 의하면 태국을 제외한 국가들(미국, 독일, 일본, 필리핀, 인도)에 있어서 구매력평가설은 성립하지 않았다. 즉 한국경제에 있어서 구매력평가설은 성립하지 않음을 알 수 있다. 전형적인 이론에 의하면, 단기에 있어서 통화공급충격은 구매력평가의 편차를 야기하지만, 장기에 있어서 이러한 편차는 소멸된다. 반면에 실질충격(Oil Shock, 정부지출)은 단기 또는 장기에서 구매력평가의 편차를 야기한다. 따라서 본 논문의 항후 연구과제는 환태평양지역에서 구매력평가설이 성립하지 않음을 이론적으로 재규명하고 동시에 경험적 분석을 하는 데 있다.

Scrambling of Adjunct and Last Resort

Cho, Jai-Hyoung and Kim, Ock-Hwan. 1999. Scrambling of Adjunct and Last Resort. Linguistics 7-$ 39-59. This paper deals with long-distance scrambling of adjuncts in Korean and Japanese with respect to the Last Resort principle. It is claimed that long-distance scrambled arguments are base-generated in the surface non-θ IP-adjoined position and that they must be obligatorily lowered into their θ-position at LF to check their θ-role feature, which is regarded as a movement-driving formal feature. Long-distance scrambled adjuncts are also argued to be base-generated in the IP-adjoined position. Unlike their argument counterparts, they are licensed there since adjuncts do not have any Case or θ-requirement. Thus, they must not be lowered into the embedded clause which they modify, otherwise the Last Resort principle would be violated. (Ajou University)

重患者室(ICU)患者에 關한 臨床看護學的 觀察

We have analyzed 1,117 patients who were admitted to the I.C.U. for intensive care during a period of 1 years from Jan, 1981, to December, 1981 in Jeonbug National university Hospital. The results are as follows : 1. The proportion to the total in patients number was 1.0% and mortality rate was 16.4%. 2. 50% of the patients were in the 21 to 50 year age group. The highest mortality rate occurred in the 71 age(25.9%) 3. The occupied bed days of the majority of the patient(78.2%) were below 5 days comprising 79.2% of the total expired patients. 4. The mortality rates of the departments of the medicine was 16.9%, general surgery 22.4%, and neurosurgery 29.5%. 5. The number of patients admitted to the department of neurosystem was 30.2%, cardiovascular system 18.3%, respiratory system 8.2%, and urinary system 4.3%. 6. All I.C.U. patients have been divided into two categories, operative and non-operative. The operative cases were 560(50.1%) and non-operative 557(49.9%). The mortality rate of the non-operative cases (21.9%) was higher than operative(10.9%).

르 끌레지오 소설의 퍼즐 텍스트 구성방식에 관한 연구

Les premiers romans de le Clezio visent a un "texte pluriel", appuye sur la technique du collage, qui consiste en insertion des elements hybrides dans le texte narratif. Dans son roman-puzzle, le langage litterairre se heurte constamment aux elements heterogenes qui, d'une part, ne cessent pas de rompre le fil de l'histoire, et qui, d'autre part, produisent la "polyphonie enonciative". C'est pour reproduire la realite eclatee du monde moderne en desintegration, qu'il a recours a cette composition du texte-puzzle. La realite ne pourrait etre representee par le seul langage humain selon Le Clezio. Il faut mobiliser tous les moyens pour saisir et transcrire les mouvements de ce monde, ou grouillent toutes les sortes de messages : jeux typographiques et graphiques, signes picturaux, cliches photographiques, enfin, tous les langages et les signes que servent a rattraper les messages non verbalises. Le metissage de ces elements varies dans L Guerre ou Les Geants transgressent la norme de la creation fictive. Il s'agit d'un defi au genre romanesque. Ce sont des testes qui reunissent en eux-memes la mutiplicite des genres litteraires, et c'est ainsi qu'ils revetent un aspect du roman baroque.

제3세대 시스템을 위한 무선접속방식의 비교-Ⅰ : TDMA 및 CDMA 기반 무선접속기술

In this paper, we persents an overview of worldwide air interface research activities and result of performance comparison analysis which regards to CDMA and TDMA based multiple access schemes for third generation mobile communication named IMT-2000. Considering systems are CDMA based FRAMES FMA2 and CODIT and TDMA based FREAMES FMA1 and ATDMA. As a result of performance comparison analysis, CDMA and TDMA schemes show almost equal performance. But the decisive factor is advanced technique such as interference cancellation methods which applied to receiver.

테녹시캄과 β-시콜로멕스트린 간의 고체분산체 형성에 의한 용출 증가

The purpose of this study is to investigate the interaction of tenoxicam with various cyclodextrins (CDs) in the aqueous solution and in solid state, and finally to formulate a tablet with enhanced dissolution rate. CDs used in solubility studies were α-, β- and γ -CD, 2-hydroxypropyl-β-CD (HPCD), sulfobutyl ether-β-CD (SBCD), dimethyl-β-CD (DMCD) and trimethyl-β-CD (TMCD). The effect of CDs on the solubility of tenoxicam was observed. Solid dispersions were prepared with β-CD using solvent evaporation and freeze-drying process and physical mixtures were prepared by trituration in a mortar. The ratios of drug to carrier were 1:1 and 1:2 molar ratio. These solid dispersions were evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and dissolution studies. Solid dispersions were also formulated to tablets and then dissolution rates were compared with that of a commercial product. In aqueous solution, complex formation with α- and β-CD gives rise to Bs type solubility phase diagram, and DMCD, TMCD, HPCD and SBCD showed AL type diagrams. The solubility increase of tenoxicam was in the order of SBCD>γ-CD>β-CD>HPCD>DMCD>α-CD>TMCD. The presence of water soluble polymers such as povidone and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose in β-CD solution did not increase the solubility of tenoxicam. DSC and FT-IR studies confirmed the formation of an solid complex of tenoxicam with β-CD. Dissolution of solid dispersion was about 4-fold higher than that of drug alone and about 2-fold higher than that of physical mixture within 10 min at pH 1.2. As the ratio of carrier to drug increased, dissolution rate became faster. The dissolution rate of tenoxicam from the tablets prepared using freeze-dried solid dispersion at 1:2 molar raio was fast; more than 80% was dissolved within 15 min at pH 1.2. All tenoxicam tablets prepared using tenoxicam-β-CD solid dispersions showed more rapid dissolution rates than commercial tablets. Therefore, the solid dispersion technique is an effective method for increasing the dissolution rate of poorly water soluble tenoxicam. β-CD was thought to be a candidate carrier for preparing solid dispersion with tenoxicam.

Modern medicine can not solve all the problems caused by many intractable, chronic and aging related diseases hence more people have come to recognize the role of foods for the promotion of good health as well as prevention from illness. Further more, controlled diet are proven to be used as effective cures for certain diseases. In this paper, the definition, functional factors and mechanisms of designer(funtional) foods are reviewed. Especially, the biofuntional activities of herbal medicines which also can be treated as designer foods are intensively noted in this paper.

경제발전과 여성의 경제적 지위

한국은 과거 30년간의 경제발전 과정에서 여성의 취업증가로 노동시장의 구조가 크게 바뀌었고, 서비스산업의 확대와 새로운 정보기술 산업 즉 IT 산업의 발전으로 여성인력의 활용문제가 주요 현실적 문제가 되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지난 30년간의 통계자료의 분석을 통하여 경제발전에 따른 여성노동시장의 구조변화와 여성의 경제적 지위변화에 대한 분석을 통하여 경제발전이 여성의 노동인력에 미친 영향을 비판적으로 분석하였다. 또한 향후 지식기반 산업의 발전에 따른 여성노동자의 미래를 예측하고 여성인력을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 분석결과 경제가 발전함에 따라 여성의 경제활동참가율이 지속적으로 증대하였고 한국 특유의 M자형 여성의 경제활동참가유형이 점차 완만해 지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 더욱이 경제발전에 따른 소득증대에 의한 대학 진학률의 증가와 더불어 19세 이하의 여성노동자의 취업률이 하락함을 알 수 있었다. 그 외 모든 연령층의 여성노동자들의 취업률은 꾸준히 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타나 한국 경제발전에서의 여성 역할의 중요성을 인식할 수 있었다. 반면 직급별 여성취업자와 종사상의 지위별 여성 취업자에 대한 분석결과 과장급 이상의 여성 취업자는 다소 증가하고 있으나 남성대비 5%수준에 머물고 있고 대다수의 여성 취업자들이 비정규직에 종사하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 21세기 섬세한 여성노동을 필요로 하는 새로운 지식기반 산업의 발전에 따른 향후 여성노동자의 미래는 도전적인 여성들에 의해 노동시장에서의 지도자적 역할과 기회가 증대될 것이다. 더욱이 본 연구에서 제시하고 있는 여성노동자들의 경력단절 없는 재취업보장제도와 직업훈련제도가 보장 될 경우 한국경제에서의 여성의 미래는 더욱 밝게 될 것이다. The structure of the labor market in Korea has been changing because of the increase of women's employment through the process of the economic development last thirty years. According that the services' industry is more increased and new information technology industry and IT industry has been developing, the utility of women's labor is to be an important issue. Therefore, by using the data of last thirty years, this study analyses critically the fluctuation of women's labor market structure and the change of economic position of woman's labor. Also, this study analyses the future of women's labor hereafter in the process of information technology industry and IT industry more developing and the plan of utility of women's labor. On examining the fluctuation of women's labor market structure, we find that the economically active population of women's labor has increased and the type of women's labor supply of the shape of M has been changing to the shape of inverse U. The proportion of employment of women's labor for the class over the head of a section has been increased, but the proportion is to the extent of 5% of the man's labor. Besides, the large of employment of women's labor is included among the informal jobs. However, when the policies of supporting and developing women's labor are taken effect, the future of women's labor in the process of information technology industry and IT industry developing hereafter will be better than now.
