This paper conducts a study on a non-contact power delivering system using high-frequency inverter with the purpose of discussing the non-contact electric power transmission characteristics through circuit analysis, magnetic analysis and feasible experiments In this power delivering scheme, various properties pertaining to the non-contact transformer of the power system such as the design, the core depth, core material, primary side frequency etc are considered with a view of improving the non-contact power dihvery to the secondary.<br/>
STUDY OF CO2/H2O ICE ABUNDANCE RATIOS IN NEARBY GALAXIES WITH THE AKARI NEAR-INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY

We study $\mathrm{CO_2/H_2O}$ ice abundance ratios in nearby galaxies using $AKARI$ near-infrared slit spectroscopy. Past studies of the ices intensively examined $\mathrm{CO_2/H_2O}$ ratios mainly in our Galaxy, and found that there were considerable variations in the $\mathrm{CO_2/H_2O}$ ratios from object to object. The cause of the variations is, however, still under debate. As a result of the analysis of our sample that includes 1031 regions in 158 galaxies, the $\mathrm{CO_2/H_2O}$ ratios are in a range of 0.05--0.30. In the dataset, we find that the $\mathrm{CO_2/H_2O}$ ratios positively correlate with the Br$\alpha$/PAH 3.3 $\mu$m ratios which reflect the massive star formation activity. Furthermore, we find that the $\mathrm{CO_2/H_2O}$ ratios positively correlate with the specific star formation rates of the galaxies where the ices are detected, that reflect the evolutionary stage of a galaxy. These results suggest that the $\mathrm{CO_2/H_2O}$ ratios are enhanced in active star-forming regions and young galaxies.
Nodal Pattern Analysis of Electron Transfer in a Quantum Ring under a Magnetic Field

In this work, we numerically study electron transfer in two-dimensional quantum rings (QRs) by using a wavefunctional nodal pattern analysis. Recent progress in experimental techniques for nanostructures has enabled precise control of the electron number in a two-dimensional system such as a single-electron transistor. One interest in electron transport in nano-devices is to determine the characteristics of a resistance in an external magnetic field. In a microwave (MW) environment, especially, the resistance has unique behaviors under a weak magnetic field. From a nodal pattern analysis, we found that not all states could contribute to the electron transfer. We also found the wavefunctions that stick to the innerwall of the QR under a weak magnetic field, which implies that the transfer depends in the relation between the ring size of the inner hole and the cyclotron radius of an electron motion. Consequently, the resistance is affected by the MW drive and a possibility exists to excite the electron to higher eigenstates.

A simple technique of maskless dye diusion into polymer lms on prepatterned electrodes is developed and three-color polymerlight-emitting devices were successfully fabricated on a glass plate. In this method, prepatterned electrodes beneath precoated recei-ver lm are utilized as heaters for activating dye molecules. Upon doping with three types of dye, 1,1,4,4-tetraphenyl-1,3-butadiene,coumarin 6 and Nile red into poly(N-vinylcarbazole) by the present diusion method, blue, green and red emission were obtained. Itis found that the onset voltage of emission does not depend on the type of dye. The maskless dye diusion technique can be appli-cable to a variety of devices such as photovoltaic devices.
