언어 압축 알고리즘을 이용한 컴퓨터 바이러스의 행위 패턴 추출

컴퓨터 사용증가와 함께 컴퓨터 바이러스 또한 증가하고 있다. 바이러스 검사 프로그램은 바이러스의 특정 문자열(signature)을 찾아내는 문자열 검색도구와 프로세스의 행동을 모니터링 하는 감시 도구(general purpose monitor)의 두 가지 형태가 있으며, 각각은 미 발견 바이러스에 대한 취약성과 시스템 오버헤드를 단점으로 가지고 있다. 또한, 최근에 제안된 면역 시스템은 계산 복잡도나 시스템 구성면에서 지나친 부담을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 바이러스들의 행위를 추출할 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 언어 압축 알고리즘을 이용하여 바이러스 행동 패턴을 추출하는 방법을 고안하였고,몇 가지 바이러스를 이용하여 실험해 보았다. 그 결과 실제 학습에 이용한 바이러스가 아니더라도 유사한 동작을 하는 바이러스에 대해서는 면역성을 가질 수 있었다.

The concept of a hyperpresentation, as an extension of a hypermedia, is the presentation in which time-varying multimedia presentations are dynamically linked together and a hyperlink's context can be changed over time at any time during a continuous presentation. Problems caused by integrating the hyperpresentation into an existing multimedia system which handles a sequential presentation only are, how to describe the hyperpresentation, how to set up a hyperlink on a continuous media, and how to check the consistency of the synchronized presentations. In this paper, a new synchronization description method for the hyperpresentation and a method for setting a hyper link on a continuous media during a presentation are proposed after having survey of existing methods. The proposed method deals with only the DC value in a stream of a DCT based compressed data for checking a condition of the link. Finally, the method for checking the consistency of mixed presentations before actual play of the hyperpresentation is described. Proposed methods are implemented on MuX(Multimedia IO Server), where a sample scenario is tested.
인터넷상의 동영상 메일을 재생하기 위한 실시간 연출 기법 연구

In this paper, a multimedia mail including video, sound, graphic data has been proposed as the next generation mail of the text based mail. In order to develop the multimedia mail, the outstanding problem is the fact that the multimedia data are too huge to send them to the receiving end directly. The fact of big data may cause many problems in both transferring and storing the data of the multimedia mail. Our main idea is to separate between a control program for the multimedia presentation and multimedia data, Since the size of a control program is as small as a plain text mail, it has no problem to send it attached to the internet mail to the receiver directly. Instead, the big multimedia data themselves may remain on the sender's computer or be sent to a designated server so that the data may be transferred to the receiver only when the receiver activates the play of the multimedia mail. In this scheme, our research focus is placed on the buffer management and the thread scheduling for the real time play of the multimedia mail on internet. Another problem is to provide an easy way of editing a multimedia presentation for an ordinary people having no programming knowledge. For the purposed, VIP(Visual Interface Player) has been used and the results of multimedia mail implemeted on LAN has been described.

Background: A large congenital melanocytic nevus (CMN) is known to have a high risk of developing melanoma. There has been no previous study of tumor heterogeneity and evolution about them. Objectives: To identify genetic alterations in tumors from two patients who had giant CMN and melanomas arising from the CMN. Methods: We applied multi-region whole-exome sequencing to investigate the clonal nature of driver events and evolutionary processes in CMNs and melanomas arising from CMNs. Results: We observed an independent subclonal evolution in cancerized field of CMN and chromosome 8q amplification in both melanomas arising from the CMN. The amplification of MYC located in chromosome 8q was correlated with the percentage of tumor cells which expressed high levels of its protein, as detected by immunohistochemistry in melanoma cells. Conclusion: Our results suggest that each CMN cell may evolve sporadically. Therefore, the larger the CMN, the higher the number of cells in the CMN and consequently, the higher the probability of melanoma development. Also, amplification of the MYC oncogene in CMN melanomas might be related to the risk of metastasis and worse prognosis.
Detachable body delivery robot platform for stair climbing

This paper proposes the design of a stair climbing robot through a three-stage structure with a body divided into three. Various Sensors mounted on the stair robot are used to recognize the stairs and two linear motors can overcome and climb stairs of various heights. It is expected that it will be applied in various delivery situations through robots by maintaining the level when ascending and descending. In addition, this paper includes a climbing/descending experiment on stairs.
