Switched Network 는 Shared Network 에 비해서 스니핑에 안전하다. 하지만 비교우위일뿐 절대적으로 스니핑에 안전한 것은 아니다. 이미 Switched Network 상에서 스니핑을 할 수 있는 공격툴들이 많이 소개되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 Switched Network 상에서 ARP(Address Resolution Protocol) 스푸핑을 통한 ARP 캐시 오염을 통하여 스니핑이 가능한 시나리오를 기술한다. 이러한 시나리오를 탐지하기 위한 기존의 방법은 DHCP 와 같은 동적인 환경이 포함된 경우 False Positive 를 자주 발생시키기 때문에 문제가 된다. 여기에서는 이러한 False Positive 를 줄인 탐지 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

<P>The ability of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to differentiate into neural cells makes them potential replacement therapeutic candidates in neurological diseases. Presently, overexpression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which is crucial in the regulation of neural progenitor cell differentiation and maturation during development, was sufficient to convert the mesodermal cell fate of human umbilical cord blood-derived MSCs (hUCB-MSCs) into a neuronal fate in culture, in the absence of specialized induction chemicals. BDNF overexpressing hUCB-MSCs (MSCs-BDNF) yielded an increased number of neuron-like cells and, surprisingly, increased the expression of neuronal phenotype markers in a time-dependent manner compared with control hUCB-MSCs. In addition, MSCs-BDNF exhibited a decreased labeling for MSCs-related antigens such as CD44, CD73, and CD90, and decreased potential to differentiate into mesodermal lineages. Phosphorylation of the receptor tyrosine kinase B (TrkB), which is a receptor of BDNF, was increased significantly in MSC-BDNF. BDNF overexpression also increased the phosphorylation of β-catenin and extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs). Inhibition of TrkB availability by treatment with the TrkB-specific inhibitor K252a blocked the BDNF-stimulated phosphorylation of β-catenin and ERKs, indicating the involvement of both the β-catenin and ERKs signals in the BDNF-stimulated and TrkB-mediated neural differentiation of hUCB-MSCs. Reduction of β-catenin availability using small interfering RNA-mediated gene silencing inhibited ERKs phosphorylation. However, β-catenin activation was maintained. In addition, inhibition of β-catenin and ERKs expression levels abrogated the BDNF-stimulated upregulation of neuronal phenotype markers. Furthermore, MSC-BDNF survived and migrated more extensively when grafted into the lateral ventricles of neonatal mouse brain, and differentiated significantly into neurons in the olfactory bulb and periventricular astrocytes. These results indicate that BDNF induces the neural differentiation of hUCB-MSCs in culture via the TrkB-mediated phosphorylation of ERKs and β-catenin and following transplantation into the developing brain.</P>

<P>Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) plays an important role in the differentiation, development, and survival of neural stem cells. In this study, we analyzed its effects on the stimulation of human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells in terms of their potential to differentiate into neuron-like cells, their survival characteristics, and the molecular mechanisms involved. The treatment of cells with neural induction medium (NIM) and BDNF generated more cells that were neuron-like and produced stronger expression of neural-lineage markers than cells treated with NIM and without BDNF. Raf-1 and ERK phosphorylation and p35 expression levels increased significantly in cells treated with both NIM and BDNF. This treatment also effectively blocked cell death following neural induction and increased Akt phosphorylation and Bcl2 expression compared with cells treated with NIM without BDNF. Inhibition of ERKs inhibited the BDNF-stimulated up-regulation of p35 and Bcl2. In addition, the inhibition of PI3K abrogated Akt phosphorylation and Bcl2 expression, but not p35 expression. Thus, MAPK/ERK-dependent p35 up-regulation and MAPK/ERK-dependent and PI3K/Akt-dependent Bcl2 up-regulation contribute to BDNF-stimulated neural differentiation and to the survival of differentiated cells. © 2008 Wiley-Liss, Inc.</P>
<i>Nocardioides daecheongensis</i> sp. nov., isolated from soil

<P>Strain KIS2-16<SUP>T</SUP> was isolated from a soil sample collected from Daecheong Island of Incheon region, South Korea. KIS2-16<SUP>T</SUP> was Gram-staining-positive, aerobic, non-spore-forming, non-motile, catalase-positive, oxidase-negative and mesophilic. On the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis, strain KIS2-16<SUP>T</SUP> represented a member of the genus <I>Nocardioides</I>, being most closely related to the type strains of species of the genus <I>Nocardioides</I>, <I>Nocardioides maradonensis</I> RP-B30<SUP>T</SUP> (97.8 % sequence similarity) and <I>Nocardioides ultimimeridianus</I> RP-B26<SUP>T</SUP> (97.0 %). The fatty acid profile of KIS2-16<SUP>T</SUP> was dominated by C<SUB>18 : 1</SUB>ω9<I>c</I>, C<SUB>17 : 1</SUB>ω8<I>c</I>, C<SUB>16 : 0</SUB>, C<SUB>18 : 0</SUB> 10-methyl (TBSA), C<SUB>16 : 0</SUB> 2-OH and C<SUB>17 : 0</SUB> 2-OH. The major isoprenoid quinone was MK-8(H<SUB>4</SUB>), and the major polar lipids were diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol and phosphatidylinositol. The peptidoglycan structure was A3γ-type with <SMALL>ll</SMALL>-diaminopimelic acid. The genomic DNA G+C content of KIS2-16<SUP>T</SUP> was 64.9 mol%. Strain KIS2-16<SUP>T</SUP> showed DNA–DNA hybridization values of less than 70 % with the closely related species of the genus <I>Nocardioides</I>. Based on phenotypic, genotypic and phylogenetic data, the isolate represents a novel species of the genus <I>Nocardioides</I>, for which the name <I>Nocardioides daecheongensis</I> sp. nov. (type strain KIS2-16<SUP>T</SUP> = DSM 27136<SUP>T</SUP> = KACC 17297<SUP>T</SUP> = NBRC 109597<SUP>T</SUP>) is proposed.</P>

<P>A Gram-stain-positive, aerobic, non-flagellated bacterium, designated KIS22-12<SUP>T</SUP>, was isolated from a soil sample of Baengnyeong Island in Onjin county, Republic of Korea. Cells were non-spore-forming cocci showing catalase-positive and oxidase-negative reactions. Growth of strain KIS22-12<SUP>T</SUP> was observed between 10 and 35 °C (optimum, 28–30 °C), between pH 5.0 and 9.0 (optimum, pH 7.0) and with 0–3 % (w/v) NaCl. Strain KIS22-12<SUP>T</SUP> contained MK-8(H<SUB>4</SUB>) as the predominant menaquinone, and C<SUB>17 : 1</SUB>ω8<I>c</I>, iso-C<SUB>15 : 0</SUB> and anteiso-C<SUB>15 : 0</SUB> as the major fatty acids. Strain KIS22-12<SUP>T</SUP> contained diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylinositol, one unknown aminophospholipid, one unknown aminolipid, two unknown phospholipids and one unknown lipid. The peptidoglycan type was A1γ. The G+C content of the genomic DNA was 75.0 mol%. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strain KIS22-12<SUP>T</SUP> formed a phyletic lineage with <I>Oryzihumus leptocrescens</I> KV-628<SUP>T</SUP>. 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity between the two strains was 96.5 %. On the basis of phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and molecular properties, strain KIS22-12<SUP>T</SUP> represents a novel species within the genus <I>Oryzihumus</I>, for which the name <I>Oryzihumus terrae</I> sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is KIS22-12<SUP>T</SUP> ( = KACC 16543<SUP>T</SUP> = DSM 27161<SUP>T</SUP> = NBRC 109596<SUP>T</SUP>). An emended description of the genus <I>Oryzihumus</I> is also provided.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Bone marrow stromal cells (BMSC) exhibit many traits of a stem cell population. Knowing that BMSC have the ability to self-renew, proliferate and differentiate into a variety of cell types, questions may arise as to whether these traits differ between the cells that have different expansion times. In this study, we examined the stem cell potentiality of BMSC through their characterization, proliferative capacity and the ability to differentiate into multiple lineages in the cultured 2nd passage cells and 10th passage cells. The results were as follows: (1) the 10th passage cells had a larger and more flatted morphology than the 2nd passage cells and also exhibited a decreased labeling for BMSC-related antigens such as CD90, CD73. (2) The cell proliferative capacity was approximately 2 times greater in the 2nd passage cells, and the apoptosis phenomenon was detected in the 10th passage cells. (3) The ability to differentiate into mesodermal tissue (osteocytes, adipocytes), as well as into ectodermal tissue (neurons) was more effective in the 2nd passage cells. Taken together, early stage BMSC would be a valuable cell source for various in vitro applications, as well as cell therapy.</P>

This paper presents frequency response compensation technique, and a self-oscillation circuit for capacitive microresonator with the compensation technique using programmable capacitor array, to compensate for the frequency response distorted by parasitic capacitances, and to obtain stable oscillation condition. The parasitic capacitances between the actuation input port and capacitive output port distort the frequency response of the microresonator. The distorted non-ideal frequency response can be compensated using two programmable capacitor arrays, which are connected between anti-phased actuation input port and capacitive output port. The simulation model includes the whole microresonator system, which consists of mechanical structure, transimpedance amplifier with automatic gain control, actuation driver and compensation circuit. The compensation operation and oscillation output of the system is verified with the simulation results.

The purpose of this study was to understand the cognitive process changing in a multilateral exercise situation through constructing variables of self-determination and planned behavior theories and identify the relations of exercise behavioral in terms of psychology. In order to obtain the purpose, subjects (N=595) were selected from commercial fitness clubs in Seal’s area by using the convenience sampling technique. The data were recorded and analyzed using PASW Ver. 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 statistical computer package to do an Exploratory Factor Analysis, Correlation Analysis, and Structural Equation Model(SEM). The results from Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Model are followed. First, increasing of psychological need has influenced on internalization of behavior regulation. Second, the exercise attitudes have changed to positively as increasing internalization of behavior regulation. Third, extrinsic and intrinsic regulation had positively influenced on subjective norm, but has negatively influenced on non motivation. Fourth, individual behavior has controlled well when the behavioral regulation is in intrinsic. Fifth, exercise attitudes are a major estimate variable for exercise adherence. Sixth, subjective norm is a major estimate variable for exercise adherence intention. Seventh, perceived behavioral control is a major estimate variable for exercise adherence intention.
