목적 : 초등학교 고학년 학생의 장애아동에 대한 인식을 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법 : 연구 대상은 김해시에 소재한 통합교육을 실시하지 않는 초등학교의 4, 5, 6학년의 비장애 아동이었다. 연구 기간은 2008년 10월 2일부터 10월 17일까지였으며, 설문지를 사용하였다. 설문지의 하위 영역은 사귐, 활 동, 학업 영역의 세 부분으로 각 10문항으로 이루어져 있으며 SPSS 12.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 장애아동에 대한 인식조사 결과 첫째, 성별에 따른 인식은 남학생보다 여학생의 평균 점수가 높았으나 통계 적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 둘째, 학년에 따른 인식은 4학년의 평균 점수가 가장 높았고 6학년이 가장 낮았으 며 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다(F=3.546, p<0.05). 셋째, 장애인 접촉 유무에 따른 인식은 접촉 경험이 없 는 학생이 있는 학생보다 평균점수가 높았으나 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 결론 : 비장애학생의 장애아동에 대한 인식은 학년에 따라 차이가 있었다. 본 연구는 작업치료사들에게 장애아동에 대한 또래집단의 인식에 대한 정보를 제공함으로써 학교환경에 대한 이해를 도울 수 있을 것이다. Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate attitude of grade-schoolers toward children with disabilities. Methods : The subjects of this study were grade-schoolers who have not received an inclusive education in Gim-hae. The study was surveyed from October second to 17th in 2008. The survey was categorized into three parts; comradeship, activity, and study. Each part of the survey consists of 10 questions. Data were analyzed by SPSS (version 12.0). Results : The results were as follows; First, the attitude of girls toward disabled students was non-significant compared to boys. Second, the order of attitude degree in grade of students was 4, 6, and 5. The attitude toward children with disabilities showed statistically significant difference according to grade(F=3.546, p<0.05). Third, the attitude of students who have experience of contact with people with disabilities was non-significant compared to non-experienced students. Conclusion : In conclusion, therefore peer groups in lower class levels showed more positive attitude toward the children with disabilities. The result will be useful information for understanding disabled children and making positive attitude. Also it is expected that occupational therapists help disabled children to participate in school life successfully using these information.

<P>Various tumour markers have been evaluated in malignant pleural effusions, but not CD66c. This study evaluated the diagnostic ability of CD66c in lung adenocarcinoma-associated malignant pleural effusions (LA-MPEs) and compared it with other known tumour markers. Forty-seven cases of LA-MPE and 52 cases of benign pleural effusions were collected. The levels of CD66c, CEA, CA 19-9, and CYFRA 21-1 were measured by enzyme immunoassay. The expression of CD66c, CEA, and CA 19-9 in cell blocks was measured by immunocytochemistry. CEA had the best diagnostic values, with a sensitivity of 87.2% and specificity of 92.3%. Both CD66c and CA 19-9 showed the highest specificity of 98.1%, with sensitivities of 63.8% and 55.3%, respectively. CYFRA 21-1 had a sensitivity of 83.0% and specificity of 76.9%. CEA combined with CA 19-9 reached a sensitivity of 91.5% and a specificity of 98.1%. The sensitivities of immunocytochemical staining for CD66c, CEA, and CA 19-9 were 72.5%, 75%, and 40%, respectively. CD66c showed a diagnostic performance comparable to CYFRA 21-1 and CA 19-9 by enzyme immunoassay. Immunocytochemical study showed that CD66c and CEA were more sensitive than CA19-9. Both studies support CD66c as a potential tumour marker to differentiate LA-MPE from benign effusions.</P>
Fibrinolysis with Lower Dose Urokinase in Patients with Complicated Parapneumonic Effusion

Background: Intrapleural urokinase is one of the most widely used fibrinolytic agents in the treatment of complicated parapneumonic effusion (CPPE). However, little research has been performed on the optimal urokinase dosage. The aim of this study was to evaluate the treatment efficacy of half dose urokinase compared with conventional dose urokinase. Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 92 patients with CPPE or empyema who underwent intrapleural urokinase treatment at two tertiary hospitals. Patients received antibiotics, chest tube drainage, and other treatments as part of routine care. The primary outcome was the treatment success rate in the half dose urokinase group (50,000 IU daily for maximal 6 days) and the conventional dose urokinase group (100,000 IU daily). Treatment success was defined as clinical and radiological improvements without surgical treatment or re-admission within one month. Results: Forty-four patients received half dose urokinase, whereas 48 patients were treated with conventional dose urokinase. Both groups were relatively well matched at baseline, excluding higher serum white blood cell count and higher empyema prevalence in the half dose urokinase group. The treatment success rate was not different between the two groups (p=0.048). There were no differences in the rate of in-hospital death and surgical treatment, hospitalization duration, and indwelling catheter duration. In the multivariate analysis, urokinase dose was not a predictor of treatment success. Conclusion: Half dose intrapleural urokinase is equally effective conventional dose urokinase in treating patients with CPPE or empyema.
알카리 표면개질 처리가 무전해 구리 도금피막과 폴리이미드 필름의 접합력에 미치는 효과

The effects of the alkali surface modification process on the adhesion strength between electroless-plated Cu and polyimide films were investigated. The polyimide surfaces were effectively modified by alkali surface treatments from the hydrophobic to the hydrophilic states, and it was confirmed by the results of the contact angle measurement. The surface roughness increased by alkali surface treatments and the adhesion strength was proportional to the surface roughness. The adhesion strength of Cu/polyimide interface treated by KOH + EDA (Ethylenediamine) was 874 gf/cm which is better than that treated by KOH and KOH + KMnO4. The results of XPS spectra revealed that the alkali treatment formed oxygen functional groups such as carboxyl and amide groups on the polyimide films which is closely related to the interfacial bonding mechanism between electroless-plated Cu and polyimide films. It could be suggested that the species and contents of functional group on polyimide films, surface roughness and contact angle were related with the adhesion strength of Cu/polyimide in combination.

Quantitative trait locus (QTL) mapping is a highly effective approach for studying genetically complex forms of plant shattering. With QTLs mapping, the shattering loci can be described. SSR marker is based on the imformation of Simple Sequence Repeat and easy to analyze using PCR and has high reproducibility. For analyzing QTLs associated with shattering, we selected 219 SSR markers from 254 SSR markers and used them for implementing Mapmaker(Ver. 3.0) and Mapchart(Ver. 2.2). Mapmaker help to calculate distances between each markers and Mapchart is a program for drawing Genetic map. This Genetic map of rice (Oryza sativa L.) covering 2082.4 cM with 9.5 cM between makers in the Kosambi function has been constructed using 120 F1 DH plants from a single cross between the indica variety Chungchung and the japonica variety Nagdong.
실크/PLGA 하이브리드 필름에서 실크가 인간 대동맥 내피세포의 부착과 증식에 미치는 효과

혈관내피세포는 혈관 안쪽을 덮고 있는 편평한 세포층으로, 혈관의 기능과 혈관평활근세포의 증식을 조절한다. 폴리락타이드글리콜라이드 공중합체(PLGA)는 물성이 좋고 분해속도를 조절하기 좋은 생분해성 합성고분자이며, 여러 형태로 제조하기 쉽다. 누에에서 얻은 실크 피브로인은 18가지 아미노산으로 구성되어 있고 세포의 부착과 세포 기능 유지에 중요하며 화장품, 의료분야 등 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 용매 증발법을 이용하여 0, 10, 20, 40 및 80 wt%의 실크를 이용하여 실크/PLGA 하이브리드 필름을 만들었으며, MTT, SEM, ELISA, 면역세포화학염색법을 실시하였다. 실크/PLGA 하이브리드 필름에서 실크 함량에 따른 인간 대동맥 내피세포의 부착과 증식을 측정한 결과, 40 wt%의 실크/PLGA 하이브리드 필름에서 세포의 부착과 증식이 가장 높았으며, 이런 결과들은 실크가 세포의 증식에 좋은 영향을 미치고 실크/PLGA 하이브리드 필름의 표면이 인간 대동맥 내피세포의 성장에 알맞은 환경이라는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. The vascular endothelial cells are the inner layers of blood vessels. It regulates the function of blood vessels and proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells. Poly(lactide-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) is a biodegradable synthetic polymer with a well-controlled degradation rate and an acceptable mechanical strength. It can be easily fabricated into many shapes. Silk consists of 18 amino acids. It found important for attaching cells cultured in vitro, and maintaining cell functions. In this study, we fabricated silk/PLGA biomaterial hybrid films of 0, 10, 20, 40 and 80 wt% silk. We performed MTT, SEM, ELISA, and immunocytochemistry analyses. We confirmed the adhesion and the proliferation of HAECs on silk/PLGA according to the content of silk, and 40 wt% silk/PLGA hybrid films have superior adhesion and proliferation properties. These results demonstrate that silk/PLGA hybrid films provide suitable surfaces for HAECs, and there is the effect of silk on cell growth and proliferation.

<P>Human intestinal organoids (hIOs) derived from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) have immense potential as a source of intestines. Therefore, an efficient system is needed for visualizing the stage of intestinal differentiation and further identifying hIOs derived from hPSCs. Here, 2 fluorescent biosensors were developed based on human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) lines that stably expressed fluorescent reporters driven by intestine-specific gene promoters Kruppel-like factor 5 monomeric Cherry (KLF5(mCherry)) and intestine-specific homeobox enhanced green fluorescence protein (ISXeGFP). Then hIOs were efficiently induced from those transgenic hiPSC lines in which mCherry- or eGFP-expressing cells, which appeared during differentiation, could be identified in intact living cells in real time. Reporter gene expression had no adverse effects on differentiation into hIOs and proliferation. Using our reporter system to screen for hIO differentiation factors, we identified DMH1 as an efficient substitute for Noggin. Transplanted hIOs under the kidney capsule were tracked with fluorescence imaging(FLI) and confirmed histologically. After orthotopic transplantation, the localization of the hIOs in the small intestine could be accurately visualized using FLI. Our study establishes a selective system for monitoring the in vitro differentiation and for tracking the in vivo localization of hIOs and contributes to further improvement of cell-based therapies and preclinical screenings in the intestinal field.</P>
