Objectives : The aim of this study was to know the immunity responses of Gwanjulbang-1(Quanjiefang-1)(hereinafter referred to GJB-1) to on Rheumatoid Arthritis in Collagen-induced Arthritis(CIA) Mice Methods : For this purpose, experiments were performed to measure the cytotoxicity against mLFC, hFLSs and the production of proinflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ in hFLSs and the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-4, IL-10 and the value of CD3+(T), CD19+(B), CD3+/CD69+, CD4, γδ T cells, CD4+/CD25+ Results : 1. The cytotoxicity against mLFC, hFLSs were not measured. 2. The production of pro-inflammatory cytokines IFN-γ were reduced in hFLSs. 3. The production of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-4, IL-10 were increased. 4. Statistically significant value of CD3+(T), CD19+(B), CD3+/CD69+, CD4, γδ T cells, CD4+/CD25+ compared with control group, wild type, MTX. Conclusions : Comparison of the results for this study showed that GJB-1 had immunomodulatory effects of suppressing or enhancing. So we expect that GJB-1 should be used as a effective drugs for not only rheumatoid arthritis but also another auto-immune disease. Therefore we have to survey continuously in looking for the effective substance and mechanism in the future.

목적: 14세의 어린 연령에서 발병한 다발성 소실성 흰 점 증후군을 경험하였기에 이를 보고하고자 한다. 증례요약: 14세 여자 환자가 내원 3일 전 발생한 좌안 시력 저하를 주소로 내원하였다. 환자는 내원 1주 전부터 미열을 동반한 상기도 감염증상이 있었고 좌안의 시력이 저하되었다고 하였다. 내원 당시 최대교정시력은 우안 20/20, 좌안 20/200이었고 상대적 구심성 동공장애가 관찰되었다. 안저 검사에서 좌안 시신경유두의 부종과 함께 다수의 흰 점이 관찰되었고 Humphrey 시야검사에서 좌안의 생리적 암점이 확대되었다. 형광안저혈관조영술에서 초기와 후기에 과형광을 보이는 흰 점 부위는 인도시아닌그린혈관조영술에서는 후기에 확대된 저형광의 반점으로 관찰되었다. 특징적인 안저 및 혈관조영 소견으로 좌안의 다발성 소실성 흰 점 증후군을 진단하였다. 2주 후 좌안의 최대교정시력은 20/70으로 호전되었고, 안저의 흰 점은 대부분 소실되었으며, Humphrey 시야검사에서 좌안의 암점은 정상 크기로 감소하였다. 3개월 후, 안저의 흰 점은 이전보다 감소하였고, 좌안의 최대교정시력은 20/30으로 호전되었다. 결론: 다발성 소실성 흰 점 증후군은 60대 노인까지 보고된 바가 있으나 대부분의 환자군은 20대 후반의 젊은 여성이다. 저자들은 전형적인 다발성 소실성 흰 점 증후군의 임상양상으로 국내에서 보고된 가장 어린 연령인 14세 여자 환자를 경험하였기에 이를 보고하고자 한다. Purpose: To report a case of multiple evanescent white-dot syndrome (MEWDS) in a 14-year-old female. Case summary: A 14-year-old female presented with decreased visual acuity. Review of systems was unremarkable except for a recent upper respiratory infection prior to her symptoms. On examination, her visual acuity was 20/20 in the right eye and 20/200 in the left eye. Relative afferent pupillary defect was observed. Examination of the left fundus revealed optic disc edema and multiple white dots in the posterior pole. Humphrey visual field test showed enlargement of the blind spot in the left eye. Fluorescein angiography revealed hyperfluorescence and late leakage of the white dots. Indocyanine green angiography showed enlarged late hypofluorescence of the white dots. MEWDS was diagnosed and the patient was followed up with serial examinations. At a follow-up examination 2 weeks later, visual acuity in the left eye improved to 20/70. The majority of white dots on fundus had disappeared and the enlarged scotoma in the left eye recovered to normal size on Humphrey visual field test. At a follow-up examination 3 months later, visual acuity in the left eye improved to 20/30 and residual white dots had further disappeared. Conclusions: Cases of MEWDS have been reported in patients as old as 67 years; however, MEWDS is a rare disease and most patients are young females. The authors describe the youngest case to date in Korea of MEWDS in 14-year-old female with typi-cal clinical course.

정적인 융점측정 방법으로 benzene+n-dodecane, cyclohexane+phenol, phenol+water, water+sulfolane 및 diethylcarbonate+nitrobenzene계에 대한 고액 평형을 측정하였다. 측정된 고액평형 데이터는 문헌값과 modified UNIFAC에 의해 예측된 값과 비교하였으며, 추산값과 실험값은 ±1.61K 범위에서 잘 일치하였다. 본 연구에서 고찰된 diethylcarbonate의 융점은 기존문헌치와 큰 편차를 보여 재검증이 필요하다. Solid-liquid equilibrium(SLE) data were measured for benzene+ n-dodecane, cyclohexane+phenol phenol+water, water+sulfolane, and diethylcarbonate+ nitrobenzene systems by using static melting point measuring method. Measured SLE data were compared with the literature values and also compared with the values predicted by modified UNIFAC(Dortmund) equation. The experimental results are in good agreements with the published and estimated values, and the average deviation between the experimental values and the calculated values is ±1.16K. The measured melting point of diethylcarbonate shows some difference from literature value, and it will be certified through other experimental data for different systems.
MTBE + Methanol 혼합계의 등온 기액평형에 미치는 염효과

Methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE)+methanol 혼합계의 등온 기백평형에 대한 염효과(salt effect)를 298.15K, 308.15K 그리고 323.15K에서 headspace gas chromatography(H.S.G.C)를 이용하여 측정하였다. LiCl, NaCl, KCI, LiBr, KBr 등의 염에 의한 MTBE+methanol 혼합계의 기액평형에 미치는 염효과 측정 결과 LiCl과 LiBr에 의한 공비점 이동 효과를 확인하였는데, 사용된 염들이 MTBE에는 거의 용해되지 않기 때문에 MTBE가 풍부한 영역에서는 적은 농도의 염이 포함되는 경우에도 좋은 효과를 나타내었다. 특히 298.15K와 308.15K의 온도에서 액상에 LiBr이 포화되어 있을 때 공비점이 완전히 제거되는 효과를 보였다. Salt effects on vapor-liquid equilibrium at 298.15 K, 308.15 K and 323.15 K were measured for the methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE)+methanol system with salts(LiCl, NaCl, KCl, LiBr and KBr) by headspace gas chromatography(H.S.G.C). The azeotrope of MTBE+methanol system was remarkably shifted with LiBr and LiCl. Since salts are nearly insoluble in MTBE, salting-out effect was satisfied even though in the case of relatively very low salt concentration in MTBE-rich region. Especially at 298.15 K and 308.15 K, the azeotropes were eliminated completely when liquid phase was saturated with LiBr.

Alkaline leaching of an uranium containing coaly shale in Okchon Series was investigated under the various oxygen partial pressure and different alkaline concentrations. The relationship between oxygen partial pressure, P, and uranium leachability, X, was determined as follows: X=kP^(0.34), X=kp^(0.11) for carbonate and carbonate-bicarbonate solutions, respectively, where k is an overall rate constant. As the carbonate concentration increased the leachability of uranium increased up to 80 %. With the mixture of carbonate-bicarbonate solutions higher leachability was obtained.
