Characteristics of the China's Power Elites in the 21^(st) Century : Continue or Change?

This study focused on the backgrounds of the current CCP PB members, and what characteristics changed or continued when compared to the previous one. The subject of research was the top 203 PB members since 1949, a cluster of elites that includes the current 24 PB members. The analytical categories of the backgrounds were: 1) biological backgrounds, 2) educational backgrounds, and 3) work backgrounds. In brief, the results of analysis show all of the 16^(th) PB in their age, growth time, the time of graduated college and joined the Party, or work experience are different from the third generation. However, the 16^(th) PB members have advanced their careers by working on China's economic modernization program, they were technically trained and by profession technocrats in administrative capacities, similar to their immediate predecessors. Therefore, the new leadership will not necessarily translate into distinctive policy orientation.

Respiratory deficient mutant (petite) colonies of low sporulating Saccharomyces diastaticus were obtained after treatment with ethidium bromide (10㎍/ml) for a suitable fusant selection marker. The tetrazolium assay and the rate of oxygen uptake showed the respiratory deficiency of the isolated colonies. These colonies showed division slower rate than the parental cells, and not grow on nonfermentable carbon source such as glycerol that the parental cells readily utilize for growing. No revertant colonies were found on the minimal medium containing glycerol (MMG plate) The results obtained for ethanol productivity of glucose showed that the obtained petite mutants were similar to the parental strain. But the ability to assimilate and ferment starch were reduced by the induction of the petite mutants. These results sugges ted that thauptake and the utilization of starch should be affected by the mitiochondrial genome damaged by exposure to ethidium bromide. Protoplast formation, protoplast stability, and regeneration rate showed no difference between the parental strain and the petite strain. Thus using the characteristics of the petite strains as a marker for protoplast fusion, interspecific protoplast fusion between respiratory competent auxotrophic mutant strain of Sacch cerevisiae and repiratory deficient Strains of Sacch. diastaticvs were conducted. The respiratory competent starch fermenting fusion products could be selected on the minimal medium containing starch with low frequency. These were thought to be possible by mitochondrial transfer and recombination through protoplast fusion.

A foreigner's investment in the advertising agency was allowed after September 10. 1991 and it will be overall open to them from January. 1995. So a domestic advertising agency need to be international to deal properly with the deepening of a competitive power from the opening of a market, a rapid increase of advertisement which the domestic companies made overseas, advertisement agency the changes of an advertisement market. This paper is a theoratical study on the internationalization plan of an advertisement agency and the purpose of it is to analyze the situation of a domestic advertisement agency and then suggest the six internationalization plane in literature by means of comparing the present condition of an advertisement industry in Korea with the internal emvironment in America and Japen. 1. The establishment of management strategy in an advertisement agency 2. The presentation and practice of a concrete strategies for internationalization. 3. The construction of infrastructure and scientification in the fields of information and R &D. 4. The development of a counter strategy on sinking the share of advertisement market . 5. The presentation of a plan to relax and abolish an administrative regulation. 6. The need of an effort to change the nation is recognition of an advertisement.

도시하수 처리시 예측모델을 활용한 질소처리 효율 평가

Simulation model used in this research was developed from IAWPRC model. In this research, effect of SRT, feeding pattern and reactor configuration on intermittently aerated activated sludge system was evaluated by using computer simulation model. T-N removal was affected the SRT for the effeative T-N removal was 15day or longer. Feeding pattern in intermittently aerated activated sludge system was affect to the T-N removal. Feeding pattern which 100% loading to the first reactor was most effective for T-N removal. When multi-stage of two-stage or more was operated, COD and T-N in effluent removal was nearly the same.

Recently, the integrated technique of the remote sensing data and the Geographical Information System are being successfully used as a powerful tool that can solve most of the problems of the urban areas. This technique is considered very powerful and effective since it can provide the useful data that can be utilized as a guidance for the maintenance and the management of the urban environment as well as in making new plans. In this study, an attempt was made to investigation of urban spatial changes in Chung-Ju city by using time serial satellite data and GIS. This study executed land cover classification using 2 year's Landsat TM images, and efficiently could manage the result of land cover changes through Arc/Info GRID analysis. Especially, by using GIS, we could variously detect land cover changes, and query and search easily past land cover changes of pixel that correspond to specific region.

In order to have a good personality and to form fine character. Home Education in necessary. Especially, the character which had been formed in a close relationship such as between parents and children will last over their entire life times. In modern society. Home Education must be as follows: 1. Setting a goal. It is necessary for the parents to plan to raise their children by having family roles. 2. Cultivating moral character. Pestalozzi once pointed out that the most important thing in human education is moral education and he also said that this is the corner stone of human education. He indicated that “Heart”(Virtue) is the most important this in 3­H Education ( Hand, Head and Heart) and of all 8­H Education (Hand, Head, Heart, Health, Honor, Humor, Humanity, and Humbleness), Heart is the most important factor. 3. Building Self­Identity. Excessive care for children can cause a lack of independence, creativity, responsibility, adaptability, fortitude, and manners. In order to raise children as democratic citizens, we need to make them recognize their roles and make them acquire the ability to endure. Democracy is in, other words, a Peaceful and a orderly state and the Order of the Home will provide the way to an orderly society and an orderly state. 4. Pragmatic man. We need to foster the children’s ability to obtain knowledge and to examine their practical points of view in such a way as to educate them into becoming pragmatic men. A practical man is aloof and evaluates what is in common among mankind and criticises judges with all evidance available to mankind. In modern society, it is also important to criticize Ideologies. It won’t be necessary to tell children about 187 Ideologies including Communism and Socialism. We only have to bring home to them the experience which we had during the Korean War. Since Democracy is our Common goal, we need to educate children to be practical so that they can deal with every problem practically. As Pestalozzi pointed out, if the Home is corrupt, the People live there will be corrupt and it they are corrupt, society, the nation and all mankind will be corrupt. There are several factors in raising people with home education. By harmonizing the roles of parents, grandparents, brothers, teachers, and classmates, HOME EDUCATION can be successful.
