Tourist Transition Model among Tourist Attractions based on GPS Trajectory
Kasahara, Hidekazu,Watabe, Takeshi,Iiyama, Masaaki Smart Tourism Research Center 2021 Journal of smart tourism Vol.1 No.2
Before COVID-19, tourist destinations have experienced problems with congestion of both famous tourist attractions and public transportation. Over-tourism is not an issue at this time, but it is likely to rekindle after the COVID-19 pandemic ends. One method of mitigating over-tourism is to estimate tourist behavior using a tourist transition model and consequently adjust public transportation operations. In this study, we propose a construction method for a model of tourist transitions among tourist attractions based on tourist GPS trajectory data. We construct tourist transition models using actual trajectory data for tourists staying in the vicinity of Kyoto City. The results verify the model performance.
Clinical investigation of patients with jaw deformity with comorbidities
Kiyohiro Kasahara,Teruhide Hoshino,Kei Sugiura,Yuki Tanimoto,Masahide Koyachi,Masae Yamamoto,Keisuke Sugahara,Masayuki Takano,Akira Katakura 대한악안면성형재건외과학회 2022 Maxillofacial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Vol.44 No.-
Background: With improvements in the safety and stability of surgeries, the number of orthognathic surgeries isincreasing. Most patients who undergo orthognathic surgeries are younger, and the number of orthognathic surgeriesfor patients with comorbidities is also increasing. We report a survey and clinical investigation of patients withcomorbidities who underwent orthognathic surgeries at our department to improve the safety of orthognathicsurgery. Results: The participants included 296 men and 712 women, with a mean age of 28 years (13?19 years, n=144;20?29 years, n=483; 30?39 years, n=236; 40?49 years, n=102; 50?59 years, n=39; ≥60 years, n=4). In total, 347patients underwent one-stage Le Fort type I osteotomy and sagittal split ramus osteotomy (SSRO), 243 underwentSSRO, 287 underwent plate removal, 126 underwent genioplasty and plate removal, and five underwent othersurgeries. In total, 529 patients had comorbidities (52%), including allergic diseases (n=220, 33%), respiratory diseases(n=107, 16%), neurologic and psychiatric diseases (n=69, 10%), gynecologic diseases (n=28, 4%), hematologicdiseases (n=27, 4%), cardiovascular diseases (n=24, 4%), digestive diseases (n=22, 3%), metabolic and endocrinediseases (n=18, 3%), spinal diseases (n=11, 2%), ophthalmologic diseases (n=11, 2%), renal and urological diseases(n=9, 1%), and other diseases (n=117, 18%). Among the patients with comorbidities, 11 with hemorrhagic diatheses(hemophilia and von Willebrand disease), arrhythmia (atrioventricular block), psychiatric disease (adjustment disorder),and metabolic disease (diabetes) required cautious perioperative management. The patient with hemophilia wasmanaged with regular low-dose recombinant factor VIII replacement therapy, and the patient with type I diabetesmellitus was administered continuous insulin infusion and sliding-scale insulin therapy; both patients had an uneventfulcourse. Conclusions: The study findings suggest that with the increase in orthognathic surgeries, oral and maxillofacialsurgeons should adequately manage cases requiring cautious perioperative control and highlight the importance ofpreoperative screening. Despite the well-established safety and postoperative stability of orthognathic surgeries, oralsurgeons should adopt appropriate additional preventive measures for patients with comorbidities.
Raman Scattering Study of Rb3DxH1-x(SO4)2
Masaru Kasahara,Toshirou Yagi 한국물리학회 2003 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.42 No.IV
The temperature dependences of 2 mode frequencies of sulfate ions were measured in Rb3DxH1..x(SO4)2 with x = 0.98, 0.90, 0.70 and 0.50. A single 2 line observed in the paraelectric phase split into three lines in the antiferroelectric phase. It was revealed from the x dependence of line intensities that spectrum consists of SO2.. 4 , HSO..4 and DSO..4 lines. Frequency shifts of these lines increased with decreasing temperature and saturated around 20 K. The saturated frequency shift of HSO..4 depends on x, while that of DSO..4 reaches much the same value for all x. These results imply that the length of H-hydrogen bonds depends on x whereas that of D-hydrogen bonds does not.
A Modal Analysis for a Hung Euler-Bernoulli Beam with a Lumped Mass
Misawa Kasahara,Akira Kojima,Shintaro Ishijima 대한전자공학회 1992 대한전자공학회 학술대회 Vol.1992 No.10
In this paper, a modal analysis is applied for a hung Euler-Bernoulli beam with a lumped mass. We first derive the equations of motion using the Hamillton's principle. Then regarding the tension of beam as constant, we characterize the eigenfrequencies and the feature of eigenfunctions. The approximation employed here is corresponding that the lumped mass is sufficiently large than that of beam. Finally we compare the eigenfrequencies derived here with those obtained based on the Southwell's method.

The purpose of this research is to clarify the relationship between playing in nature and paintings in terms of experience in early childhood care and education. Nature has a meaning| the whole environment as natural phenomena and the ecology learn through living as playing. The place of interaction between child and nature is "a sphere of playing in life" (Nakagaki,1989,p.24)| it is nature for the child. Playing and life with nature has an importance for early childhood. However, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, we are faced with the reconsidering of experiences in nature. Kai(2014)points out that insufficiency of cultural viewpoints on scientific cognition, and ethics of the mind on nature of an enterprise and citizen in Japan. He asks for the necessity to think of an environment as an ecosphere. Rethinking an experience in nature in early childhood education has a possibility to create new relationships between human and nature on a fundamental level.
On the Buffer Management Policy for CCPM Based on MPL
Munenori Kasahara,Hirotaka Takahashi,Hiroyuki Goto 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.8
Max-Plus-Linear (MPL) system is known as a solution for scheduling problems of a class of discrete event systems. Typical systems include: manufacturing system and project management, etc. The Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is also known as a management method that can shorten the required time to complete a project based on the Theory of Constraints (TOC). In this paper, we propose a buffer control method for the MPL-CCPM representation using a Fever chart.
