Objective-In this study, we aimed to investigate preferences regarding the disclosure of a dementia diagnosis and advance care planning (ACP) in patients with memory complaints and their families. Methods-A total of 98 patients who visited the department of psychiatry at a tertiary hospital with memory complaints and 62 family members completed a structured questionnaire. The questionnaire included preferences on disclosure of dementia and cancer diagnosis, awareness and preferences on ACP. Results-In total, 96.9% of patients were willing to know their dementia diagnosis. There were no significant differences in preferences between the diagnosis of cancer and dementia. Only 24.7% of patients and 45.8% of family members have heard of ACP. However, 82.8% of patients agreed on the necessity of ACP under the current condition. Multivariate analysis revealed that younger patients were more likely to agree with necessity for ACP under the current condition. Conclusion-In Korea, patients with memory complaints and their family members strongly favored a disclosure of dementia diagnosis. The majority of participants also agreed on the necessity of ACP. More active involvement of patients is needed in treatment decisions and care planning in cases of dementia as well as other life-threatening illnesses.
Vehicle-following system using Color-Vision

This paper introduces a vehicle-following-system in which a moving vehicle recognizes the front vehicle's tail-light color and luminance, while maintaining a certain distance and avoiding collision. Using color images rather than using gray-scale images makes it easier to detect the objective color and global region growing method. This paper contributes to the basic study of Color-Vision, and can be extended to color inspection systems.
Industrial AI for Yield Improvement in Camera Module Assembly Process

This paper presents the application of Industrial AI for improving yield and reducing defects in camera module assembly process. The approach involves simulating the production process and training the model to predict defects. Results show high accuracy and have potential applications in other manufacturing processes.

인간은 감정을 갖고 살아간다. 감정은 인간에 대한 추상적 상태이기에 명확한 정의가 어려운 특성을 지니며, 감정은 심리학적으로 일련의 현상에 대한 복합적인 정보의 인식을 통한 일련의 상태내지 표현으로써, 이를 밝히는 연구가 생리심리학과 신경과학적 관점을 통해 진행되고 있다. 로봇의 활용이 증대됨에 따라 로봇에 감정을 부여해야 될 필요성이 증대되고 있으며 이를 위한 인공감정모델은 인간과 로봇 내지 컴퓨터 간의 감정교류를 목적으로 한다. 본 논문은 뇌신경망 속, 시냅스의 각성으로 발생하는 흥분성 시냅스 후 전위 그래프와 활동전위 그래프를 단위감정 그래프의 기본 형태로 이용하여 생성된 감정그래프로 신경충동을 모형화 한 인공감정모델의 제안을 목적으로 한다. 또한 단위감정그래프에 임계수치의 적용을 통하여 감정의 생성과 소멸에 결정적인 역할을 하는 성격이 반영이 가능하도록 한다. 제안된 인공감정모델은 감정의 생성과 소멸, 성격의 반영에 있어서 효율성을 향상을 증명하기위한 실험으로 텍스트기반으로 간소화시킨 시뮬레이터를 이용했다. 이를 통하여 로봇에서 적용 할 인공감정모델에서 인공감정의 주체의 성격을 부여 할 수 있고 반영할 수 있음을 확인했다. Human has emotion. Emotion is an abstract side of human, so it is difficult to define clearly. And emotion is a result of the expression or state which is made by the recognition to the series of actual states; the research that will clear up the process is proceeding in a view of physiological psychology and neuroscience. As a utilizing robot is enlarging, the demand for giving emotion to the robot is increasing. So in this point' artificial emotion model is for emotional communication between human and robot or computer. This paper intends to offer the developed model that is similar to the emotion process of human by using the action potential as a basic format of an emotion unit graph caused by disillusion of synapse. And also, character which is decisive for human process through all-or-none principal based on critical value is applied to the artificial emotion model. The offered artificial emotion model is applied to simpler simulator based on text foundation in order to experiment improvement of immediacy. Through these courses, artificial emotion model for applying to robot is confirmed the possibility to make similar emotion of human.
