Zhuang, Bo,Lv, Deng-Kun,Gao, Si-Ju,Meng, Jing-Jing Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.23
Objective: To investigate the differential features of CT images in children with neuroblastomas (N) and ganglioneuroblastomas (G). Materials and Methods: Clinical data of 12 children in group G and 15 in group N undergoing CT examination and definitely diagnosed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. The focal conditions were observed and compared in the two groups, including location, size, boundaries, morphology, enhanced degree and mode, abdominal vascular involvement, presence or absence of spanning the midline, infiltration of peripheral organs, angiography manifestations in tumors or surroundings, presence or absence of calcification and vascular tumor emboli as well as metastases of distal organs and lymph nodes. Results: In group N, the incidence of tumors in the adrenal area was conspicuously higher than in group G (P<0.05), while that of tumors with regular morphology and clear boundaries was significantly lower than in group G (P<0.01); Angiography manifestation rate and incidences of vascular embedding, lymph node metastasis, infiltration and organic metastasis in group N were all markedly higher than in group G (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance between the two groups in terms of focal size, presence or absence of calcification and spanning the midline, and enhanced degree and mode, as well as vascular tumor emboli (P>0.05). Conclusions: Mostly located in adrenal areas and with vascular embedding as a primary manifestation, the neuroblastoma extremely readily metastases to lymph nodes and other organs as well as infiltrating local tissues, with dilation on angiography frequent in or around the tumors. With vascular displacement as a primary manifestation, ganglioneuroblastoma has a regular morphology and clear boundaries.

In this work, a new idea of organic-inorganic hybridization was proposed to fabricate flexible p-type - Sb2Te3/ CH3NH3I thin films. The CH3NH3I has a strong adsorption which can promote the growth of organic molecules, improve the crystallization, and finally increase electrical conductivity. Post-annealing of the fabricated films increased the phonon scattering, thus resulting in a reduction of thermal conductivity and an increased ZT value. The annealed hybrid-composite film showed a significant enhancement in thermoelectric performance, with a maximum ZT value of 0.94 at a temperature of 413 K, which is twice as large as that of the as-deposited film.

This article examines the volatility spillover effects among USA and five East Asian stock markets using multivariate stochastic volatility with regime-switching model. The five East Asian stock markets are China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Singapore respectively. We choose the most representative stock index in each area. Our empirical analysis of these indices daily data suggest that multivariate stochastic volatility with regime-switching model performs better in different market condition. This study found that there are no significant volatility spillover between China and USA. But there exist some significant volatility spillover among East Asian markets.
Research on Online rumor Based on SEIR Model with Nonlinear Incidence Rates
Xiao-Jing Lin,Ya-Ming Zhuang 제어로봇시스템학회 2015 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2015 No.10
The internet changes the way of human communication, netizens can publish and receive information whenever and wherever, which promote efficiency and speed up rumor dissemination, and highlight dangers of online rumors. Because of many similarities between online rumors dissemination and virus dissemination, in this paper, the SEIR model with nonlinear incidence rates is proposed to research on the diffusion process of online rumors. Aiming at the increasing number of the new netizens in our country, use the Logistic curve to describe the number of netizens, build SEIR online tumor dissemination model with nonlinear incidence rate and population dynamics. By analyzing the equilibrium point, development trend of online tumor can be predicted, and analytical expressions of threshold value be obtained when it is exist. The online rumors dissemination can be controlled by adjusting the parameters of threshold expression. Finally the accuracy and validation has been verified by simulation experiment.

Objective: Glutathione S-transferase M 1 (GSTM1) is implicated as a risk factor for prostate cancer. However, this issue is not clear in Chinese population. This systemic analysis was conducted to evaluate the effect of GSTM1 null genotypes on prostate cancer risk in Chinese. Methods: Published studies investigating the associations between GSTM1 null genotypes and the risk of prostate cancer in China were identified by using a predefined search strategy. Main statisticals were pooled and estimated according to the primarily reported data. Results: The prevalence of the GSTM1 null genotype was higher in prostate cancer patients than in controls, with significance. Conclusion: The GSTM1 null genotypes is associated with increased risk of prostate cancer in Chinese.
Circular RNA hsa_circ_0075828 promotes bladder cancer cell proliferation through activation of CREB1
( Chengle Zhuang ),( Xinbo Huang ),( Jing Yu ),( Yaoting Gui ) 생화학분자생물학회 2020 BMB Reports Vol.53 No.2
Circular RNAs (circRNAs), one kind of non-coding RNA, have been reported as critical regulators for modulating gene expression in cancer. In this study, microarray analysis was used to screen circRNA expression profiles of bladder cancer (BC) 5637 cells, T24 cells and normal control SV-HUC-1 cells. The data from the microarray showed that hsa_circ_0075828 (named circCASC15) was most highly expressed in 5637 and T24 cells. circCASC15 was highly expressed in BC tissues and cells. Overexpression of circCASC15 was closely associated with BC tumor stage and promoted cell proliferation significantly in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, circCASC15 could act as miR-1224-5p sponge to activate the expression of CREB1 to promote cell proliferation in BC. In short, circCASC15 promotes cell proliferation in BC, which might be a new molecular target for BC diagnosis and therapy. [BMB Reports 2020; 53(2): 82-87]

Dehydration-responsive element-binding protein(DREB) transcription factors play key roles in plant stresssignal transduction pathways. We herein describe the functionsof a Camellia sinensis DREB transcription factor (CsDREB)in response to abiotic stress. Subcellular localization analysesindicated that the CsDREB localizes to the nucleus. CsDREBexpression in C. sinensis leaves was induced by heat, cold, drought, high salinity, H2O2, and exogenous abscisic acid(ABA). Additionally, CsDREB showed no transcriptionalactivation in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Transgenic Arabidopsisthaliana plants overexpressing CsDREB exhibited enhancedtolerance to salt and drought stresses. The overexpression ofCsDREB in A. thaliana plants resulted in the up-regulatedexpression of ABA-dependent stress-induced genes (i.e.,AtRD29B, AtRAB18, AtABI1, and AtABI2) and ABAindependentstress-induced genes (i.e., AtCOR15a andAtRD29A). Furthermore, an analysis of the CsDREB promotersequence revealed the presence of several abiotic and bioticstress-related motifs, along with the developmental stageandtissue-specific elements. An examination of thetransient expression of the CsDREB promoter in Nicotianabenthamiana leaves revealed that the promoter is highlyresponsive to ABA and methyl jasmonate. Collectively, theseresults suggest that CsDREB may increase plant tolerance tosalt and drought stresses via both ABA-dependent and ABAindependentpathways.

At present, almost all hybrid excitation machines (HEMs) apply DC field current to control the air-gap flux. However, the DC field control mode results in a problem that the capability of field-weakening is not equal to that of field-strengthening. This paper briefly explains the mechanism of asymmetric bidirectional field control capability in present HEMs, proposes a consequent pole hybrid excitation synchronous (CPHES) machine with AC field control mode to solve the asymmetric problem. The structure and principles of CPHES machine are presented. Additionally, the equivalent magnetic circuit model of CPHES machine is derived to reduce the computational complexity of analyzing CPHES structure by using three-dimensional finite element analysis (3DFEA). The proposed equivalent model and 3D-FEA are compared, the results verify the proposed model is basically consistent with the 3D-FEA, and the proposed model is able to reduce the computational complexity greatly.

In this study, AZO thin films prepared by direct current reactive magnetron sputtering using a Zn-Al alloy target and In with varied content were doped through the prefabricated layer doping method in order to optimize their thermoelectric properties. The effects of In content on the room temperature microstructure and thermoelectric properties of the AZO thin films were investigated. It was found that the absolute value of the Seebeck coefficient of the thin films increases stably after In doping and reaches 153 μV·K−1 when the In content is 0.71%. Though the electrical conductivity of In-doped thin films is smaller than those of the un-doped films, the power factor of the thin films shows a significant increase after In doping with a maximum value of 2.22 × 10−4 W·m−1·K−2, which is several times that of the un-doped films.
