        The purpose of this study was to compare internship satisfaction of intern physical therapists working in the university hospitals with that of them working in the rehabilitation hospitals in Seoul metropolitan area. The questionnaire for internship satisfaction survey that amended from vocational interest test [Strong Interest Inventory(SII)] was used to examine satisfaction of intern physical therapists and the questionnaire was used to ask general characteristics, educational and work environment. Thirty nine intern physical therapists working in university hospital and fifty nine intern physical therapists rehabilitation hospital in Seoul metropolitan area responded. Frequency analysis, χ² test and independent t-test were conducted to evaluate differences between groups about variables of internship satisfaction survey, general characteristics, work and educational environments with using the PASW 18.0 statistical program. The results of the study were as follows. There were significant differences of intern physical therapists between university hospitals and rehabilitation hospitals in overall scores of internship satisfaction and scores of all sub-items such as duty, supervision, working condition, work mates and wages. Intern physical therapists working in the university hospitals showed higher satisfaction than that of Intern physical therapists working in the rehabilitation hospitals.

      • Paraquat 투여 백서에서 Cyclophosphamide와 Dexamethasone의 치료 효과

        Paraquat (N,N'-dimethy 1-4,4'bipyrydinium : Gramoxone^(R), a widely used herbicide, is extremely toxic to all green plants and many eukaryotic organisms. In human, paraquat intoxication leads to multiple organ failure, it preferentially damages the lung, kidney and liver and may result in death. The participation of superoxide in initiating tissue damage by administration of paraquat is well known in which one electron reduction of paraquat leads to the formation of radical species which react with molecular oxygen to give superoxide. This process initiates immunological changes with the activation of neutrophilic leukocytes, which is related to further production of superoxide. In this experiment, therapeutic effects of cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone on blood cell count, malondialdehyde as a indicator of lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant enzymes levels in the lung, liver and kidney of paraquat intoxicated rats were inbestigated. The WBC count were significantly decreased by combined treatment of cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone in paraquat intoxicated rats at 3 and 5 days but RBC count were not changed. The contents of malondialdehyde were significantly decreased in the lung and Kidney by combined treatment at 10 days after paraquat intoxication. The catalase acitvities were markedly increased in the lung and liver of rats at 10 days after paraquat intoxication, and superoxide dismutase activities showed minimal changes in the lung, liver and kidney of rats by combined treatment. These results suggest that paraquat induced tissue damage in rats can be redeced by combined administration of cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone.

      • Structural Design and Analysis of Pico-class Satellite named STEP Cube Lab

        The STEP Cube Lab (Cube Laboratory for Space Technology Experimental Projects) is a 1U cube satellite developed by the Space Technology Synthesis Laboratory of Chosun University to be launched in 2015. Its mission objective is twofold: to determine which of the fundamental space technologies researched at domestic universities, will be potential candidates for use in future space missions and to verify the effectiveness of the technologies by investigating mission data obtained from on-orbit operation of the cube satellite. In this paper, a structural design concept based on the 1U standard to achieve the mission objective is introduced. The validity of the design has been demonstrated by quasi-static analysis and modal analysis. In addition, a non-explosive separation device triggered by burn wire heating, which is one of the main mission payloads is introduced.

        Enhancement of Microjitter Attenuation Capability for a Stepper-Actuated Two-Axis Gimbal-Type Antenna by Using a Spring-Blade Isolator

        <P>A two-axis gimbal-type X-band antenna used to transmit real-time image data from a satellite to a ground station is a potential source of microjitter, which can degrade image quality from high-resolution observation satellites. Activation of discontinuous stepper motors during pointing of the antenna mechanism in the azimuth and elevation directions is one of the primary sources of microjitter disturbances. It is desirable to enhance microjitter attenuation capability by isolating disturbances from stepper motor activation with a reliable technical solution not requiring major design modification of the antenna. In this study, the application of a low-torsional-stiffness spring-blade isolator on the output shaft of the stepper actuator is proposed. The spring-blade isolators were designed based on the derived torque budgets of the antenna, ensuring structural safety of the blades. The design of the spring-blade isolators was verified through structural analysis and a torque measurement test. In addition, the effectiveness of the isolators was demonstrated in a microjitter measurement test of the X-band antenna. (C) 2017 American Society of Civil Engineers.</P>

        Study on the Recognition and Purchase Status of Eco-Friendly Oral Hygiene Products

        Background: Plastic waste generates pollutants in the process of incineration or landfilling, and accumulates in water or marine organisms, causing adverse effects on the environment and the human body. Recently, various eco-friendly oral hygiene products (Eco-OHPs) such as bamboo toothbrushes and biodegradable plastic toothbrushes have been developed. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the current level of awareness and purchasing status of eco-OHPs among adults who are interested in eco-friendly products.Methods: This study included adults aged >19 years who regularly visited eco-friendly shops and online sites; the online survey links were distributed during their visits to eco-friendly Internet cafés and companies. Of the 22 questions, seven assessed the participants’ general characteristics, three assessed the general oral hygiene care products used, six assessed the level of awareness of Eco-OHPs, and six assessed the purchasing status of Eco-OHPs. Frequency analysis, chi-square test, and regression analysis were performed using SPSS software. Results: Among the respondents, 108 (51.4%) were aware of Eco-OHPs, and 79 (37.6%) had experience purchasing Eco-OHPs. The most common reason for not purchasing was the lack of information about related brands or products (74, 56.5%). The most common platform used in obtaining information was the Internet (general: 31.5%, eco-friendly: 46.3%), such as Social Network Service, Internet cafes, and blogs. The experience in purchasing Eco-OHPs was affected by whether the respondents recognized the possibility of contributing to environmental preservation, availability of vendors, product safety, and the number of eco-friendly products purchased. Conclusion: In order to expand the use of Eco-OHPs, various efforts such as promotion of eco-friendly characteristics, determination of related vendors, reliable analysis of product safety, and expansion of product experience opportunities are required.

        공공-민간합동형 PF사업의 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 핵심요인분석

        1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES In order to identify the factors determining the success of public-private partnership project financing by survey to the experts. Analysis on the importance of those factors to identify the core factors that affect the performance of public-private partnership project financing. (2) RESEARCH METHOD A survey was conducted to the employees in charge of the public-private partnership project financing through the AHP empirical analysis. The analysis tool for the research was the team version 11.0 of Expert Choice 2000(EC2000) program and Microsoft Excel in order to synthesize the results of the survey. (3)RESEARCH FINDINGS In the existing studies, the topic are mostly the ways of improvement for the legal and systematic problems or the measures to activate the public-private partnership project financing. However, this study is differentiated from the other in a sense that it concerns an empirical analysis on the determining factors of the public-private partnership project financing using the AHP statistical method. 2. RESULTS The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, the business environment such as the change in the real estate policies was an important factor for the success and performance of the public-private partnership project financing. Second, in order do effectively carry out the public-private partnership project financing, the public and the private sectors should clarify their roles. Also, the CEO and responsible employees should be highly interested as well. Third, in the settlement management, the disposal by Reits Fund(Real estate finance) was the most preferred method. This shows that disposal by Reits Fund was the most preferred among the types of SPC settlement.

      • Genistein Inhibits Cell Growth by Modulating Various Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinases and AKT in Cervical Cancer Cells

        <P>Genistein, a soy-derived isoflavone, inhibits growth of tumor cells from various malignancies. Here we investigated the effect of genistein on the growth of cervical cancer cells (HeLa and CaSki) and its possible mechanism. Genistein significantly suppressed cell growth of HeLa and CaSki cells at concentrations of 20 and 60 micromol/L, respectively, for 24 h. Western blotting analysis showed that genistein reduced phosphorylation of AKT and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK)-1/2 and induced phosphorylation of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK). Moreover, inhibition of ERK1/2 activity enhanced cell growth inhibition by genistein, whereas inhibition of p38 MAPK activity rescued from genistein-mediated growth inhibition. Interestingly, inhibition of AKT activity recovered genistein-induced growth inhibition in CaSki cells but did not in HeLa cells. However, inhibition of JNK activity seemed to have little effect on cell growth inhibition by genistein. Taken together, these results suggest that genistein could inhibit cell growth by inhibiting ERK1/2 activity and activating p38 MAPK.</P>

        신뢰성 수명예측 도구 Sherlock을 이용한 큐브위성용 임무보드의 고장 메커니즘별 수명예측

        극초소형 위성으로 분류되는 큐브위성의 경우, 저가/단기간 개발목표 충족을 위해 일반적으로 진동 및 열 환경 규격을 만족하는 상용부품을 선정하여 제작하고 최소한의 검증시험을 통해 발사 및 궤도 운용을 실시한다. 하지만 제한된 회수로 지상에서 실시된 환경시험만으로 장시간에 걸친 궤도상 열진공과 같은 물리적 부하 환경에 노출된 임무보드의 신뢰성을 보장할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 현재 자동차 분야에서 탑재 전자기기 신뢰도 예측에 폭넓게 활용중인 신뢰성 수명예측 상용도구인 Sherlock을 적용하여 큐브위성용으로 제작된 전자보드를 대상으로 발사 및 궤도환경에서의 고장 메커니즘 별 수명예측 및 임무기간동안의 신뢰도를 분석하였다. A cubesat classified as a pico-satellite typically uses commercial-grade components that satisfy the vibration and thermal environmental specifications and goes into mission orbit even after undergoing minimum environment tests due to their lower cost and short development period. However, its reliability exposed to the physical environment such as on-orbit thermal vacuum for long periods cannot be assured under minimum tests criterion. In this paper, we have analysed the reliability and life prediction of the failure mechanisms of the cubesat mission board during its service life under the launch and on-orbit environment by using the sherlock software which has been widely used in automobile fields to predict the reliability of electronic devices.
