프탈레이트 에스터계 가소제는 폴리염화비닐(PVC) 소재의 유연성과 가공성을 향상시키기 위해 광범위하게 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 인체 및 환경에 대한 유해성 논란으로 인해 사용이 규제되고 있으며, 친환경적이며 PVC 소재와의 가공성이 우수한 비프탈레이트계 가소제로의 대체가 증가하는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 친환경적 가소제 개발을 위해 코코넛 오일 기반의 바이오 가소제를 생물학적 전환 공정에 의해 합성하였다. 합성된 가소제가 PVC 소재의 가공성 측면에서 유변학적 및 용융학적 특성에 미치는 영향을 상용 프탈레이트 가소제와 비교하였고, 기계적 및 열적 특성과의 상관관계에 대한 예측 모델을 제안하였다. Phthalate esters have been extensively used as plasticizers to improve the flexibility and processability of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) resin. However, the use of phthalate plasticizers is prohibited, and they have been replaced by non-phthalates due to the controversy over their harmful effects on the human body and the environment. Therefore, in this paper, a coconut oil-based bio-plasticizer (COBP) was synthesized via bioconversion of coconut oil using an enzyme catalyst. The rheological and fusion effects of the COBP on the PVC resin were compared with the effects of commercially available phthalate plasticizers in terms of processability, and a predictive model for correlating the mechanical and thermal properties was suggested.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is used in a variety of fields because there are no people on board. In particular, technologies for 3D modeling using UAV are being researched and developed. In 3D modeling using such an UAV, in order to save time and cost and improve the quality of output, a flight plan must be established in advance with the characteristics of the object to be model. However, it is difficult to find a simulator that can check the flight path and the product in advance with the characteristics of object. Therefore, in this study, a pre-flight simulator was developed to improve the efficiency of 3D modeling by applying point cloud data and LOD. In addition, to verify the performance of the simulator, the estimated product of the simulator and the actual product were compared.

바이오매스의 일종인 폐식물유는 대부분 주거 및 상업 부문에서 대량으로 생성되며, 재활용률이 낮은 자원이다. 폐식물유는 환경에 대한 관심이 고조되고 석유화학 자원의 고갈에 따라 재생가능한 자원으로서 지대한 관심을 받아오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 바이오매스 기반의 폐식물유를 재활용하여 고내열성 및 고강도 특성이 우수한 반응형 가소제(BmBP)를 기존의 7단계 에폭시화 반응 공정을 혁신적으로 단순화한 3단계 공정을 통해 합성하였다. 합성된 가소제는 대응하는 특수 가소제인 TINTM 및 DIDP와 가공성 측면에서 상대 비교를 하였다. Waste vegetable cooking oil (WVCO), a type of biomass, is primarily produced in large quantities within the residential and commercial sectors and is a resource with low recycling rate. WVCO has been receiving much attention as a renewable resource due to rising environmental concerns and the depletion of petrochemical resources. In this study, reactive plasticizer (BmBP) recycled with biomass-based WVCO was synthesized via a three-step process that was innovatively simplified from the conventional seven-step epoxidation process, which has high heat resistance and high strength. The synthesized BmBP was compared with corresponding specialty plasticizers, such as TINTM and DIDP, in terms of processability.
하수처리가 퇴비화를 위한 하수 슬러지 특성에 미치는 영향

The effects of sewage treatment on characteristics of sludge as a composting material were investigated for a year during the initial operation at the full-scale Chunan sewage treatment plant. Due to the shortage of design capacity of belt press, a sludge dewatering unit, non-volatile solids were recirculating and concentrating in the treatment plant, resulting in an increase of MLSS and a decrease in F/M ratio at the activated sludge system. Special attention is required for long term operations since the increase of non-volatile solids in the plant would deteriorates the treatment efficiency. The sewage sludge of the Chunan sewage treatment plant showed 79.5% of water content, 11.6% of organic content, and C/N ratio of 6.1, and contained As 1.8 ㎎/㎏, Cd 27 ㎎/㎏, Hg $lt;0.1 ㎎/㎏, Pb 54 ㎎/㎏, T-Cr 370 ㎎/㎏, and Cu 1,100㎎/㎏ of heavy metals. In order to be used as raw material for optimum composting, the sewage sludge requires bulking agents for moistrure/porosity control and a carbon source for adjusting C/N ratio. However, the sewage sludge is not adequate as a soil conditioner after composing due to a high content of heavy metals. If the sewage sludge has to he used as a soil conditioner after composting, it as required to identify and remove tire industrial wastewater portions in tire influent of the plant since heavy metals in the influent were mostly concentrated in dewatered sludge.
