나지영(Jiyoung Na),강신천(Shinchun Kang) 한국디지털콘텐츠학회 2021 한국디지털콘텐츠학회논문지 Vol.22 No.11
This study identified the influence of telework on organizational achievement. Specifically, it figured out the factors influencing organizational achievement and verified whether organizational culture played an intermediary role. According to the results, telework efficacy did not have influence on organizational achievement in individual and organizational sides, but self-efficacy, digital competency, and organizational culture did, which means that the type of work called telework itself does not have direct influence on organizational achievement but organizational culture and individual characteristics are the main factors in improving organizational achievement. Especially, organizational culture played an intermediary role in the relation between self-efficacy, digital competency, and organizational achievement. The main purpose of this study is to examine the factors that could lead to improvement in organizational achievement when telework is implemented and contribute to the base expansion of telework.
GM-CSF Enhances Mobilization of Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells via a CXCR4-Medicated Mechanism
Jiyoung Kim,Na Kyeong Kim,SO-RA PARK,Byung Hyune Choi 한국조직공학과 재생의학회 2019 조직공학과 재생의학 Vol.16 No.1
BACKGROUND: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of granulocyte–macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) on the mobilization of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from the bone marrow (BM) into the peripheral blood (PB) in rats. METHODS: GM-CSF was administered subcutaneously to rats at 50 lg/kg body weight for 5 consecutive days. The BM and PB of rats were collected at 1, 3, and 5 days during the administration for analysis. RESULTS: Upon GM-CSF administration, the number of mononuclear cells increased rapidly at day 1 both in the BM and PB. This number decreased gradually over time in the BM to below the initial amount by day 5, but was maintained at a high level in the PB until day 5. The colony-forming unit–fibroblasts were increased in the PB by 10.3-fold at day 5 of GM-CSF administration, but decreased in the BM. Compared to GM-CSF, granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) stimulated lower levels of MSC mobilization from the BM to the PB. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed that GMCSF induced a hypoxic and proteolytic microenvironment and increased C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4) expression in the BM. GM-CSF added to BM MSCs in vitro dose-dependently increased CXCR4 expression and cell migration. G-CSF and stromal cell derived factor-1 (SDF-1) showed similar results in these in vitro assays. Know-down of CXCR4 expression with siRNA significantly abolished GM-CSF- and G-CSF-induced MSC migration in vitro, indicating the involvement of the SDF-1–CXCR4 interaction in the mechanism. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that GM-CSF is a useful tool for mobilizing BM MSCs into the PB.

It is important to distinguish uterine lesions from other lesions occurring in the pelvic cavity for the proper management. The primary radiological evaluation of uterine lesions is performed using transvaginal ultrasonography, and if the lesion is too large or shows atypical benign imaging findings, magnetic resonance imaging should be performed. Analyzing radiological findings of uterine lesions through a pattern recognition approach can help establish the accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. In this pictorial assay, we describe imaging characteristics of various lesions arising from the uterus and evaluate them based on the pattern recognition approach.

Background: The development of an eczematous rash on face and neck, which was not described in phase 3 clinical trials, is being reported in the literature in patients treated with dupilumab. Little is known regarding the causes or features of the facial dermatitis. Objectives: We conducted surveys of 162 severe AD patients treated with dupilumab to describe its clinical features, morphology, and etiology. Methods: A multicenter prospective cohort study was conducted from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020. A total of 162 patients under dupilumab treatment were asked to complete a questionnaire and patients were evaluated by dermatologists. Results: Out of all 162 patients, 84.6 percent had pre-existing facial dermatitis PRIOR to dupilumab therapy. 121 (88.3 %) patients of them got better after the treatment, 9 (6.6 %) patients of them had no change after the treatment, but 7 (4.3 %) patients of them got worse after the treatment. Out of 25 patients who had not pre-existing facial dermatitis PRIOR to the therapy, 6 (3.7 %) patients of total experienced new-onset facial erythema after the treatment. A large proportion of the patients in both groups had a history of TCS use. Conclusion: In severe AD patients treated with dupilumab, additional or new-onset development of an eczematous rash on face and neck after dupilumab treatment did not frequently occur. Although the mechanisms of this adverse event remains unclear, the possibility of topical corticosteroids withdrawal cannot be excluded.
Double Intussusceptions with Necrotizing Enterocolitis Diagnosed in a Premature Infant
Jiyoung Park,Young Gwang Kim,Na Mi Lee,Seong Jae Cha 대한신생아학회 2015 Neonatal medicine Vol.22 No.4
Intussusception in neonates, especially in preterm infants, is rare. Common symptoms of intussusception, which include distended abdomen and gastric residuals, lead to misdiagnosis as necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). Delayed diagnosis of neonatal intussusception delays treatment as well, which can lead to life-threatening complications. The predominant location of intussusception in preterm neonates is the small bowel; therefore, ultrasonography is not indicated. We report the case of an 834g male baby born at 25 weeks 6 days of gestation, who was diagnosed with double intussusceptions with NEC.

Collapsin response mediator protein (CRMP)-2 and the mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) signaling pathway are associated with common physiological functions such as neuronal polarity, axonal outgrowth and synaptic strength, as well as various brain disorders including epilepsy. But, their regulatory and functional links are unclear. Alterations in CRMP-2 expression that lead to its functional changes are implicated in brain disorders such as epilepsy. Here, we investigate whether changes in CRMP-2 expression, possibly regulated by mTOR-related signaling, correlates with neuronal growth and viability. Inhibition of mTOR and/or phosphoinositol-3-kinase (PI3K) led to deceased p-S6K, and p-S6 signals also reduced CRMP-2 expression. These changes corresponded to inhibition of neuronal viability and proliferation in cultured hippocampal HT-22 cells under both basal serum-free and serum- or insulin-induced mTOR pathway-activated conditions. CRMP-2 expression tended to be increased by mTOR activation, indicated by an increase in p-S6/S6 level, in pentylentetrazole (PTZ)-induced epileptic rat hippocampal tissues was also significantly reduced by mTOR inhibition. Knockdown of CRMP-2 by si-RNA reduced the neuronal viability without changes in mTOR signaling, and overexpression of CRMP-2 recovered the glutamate-induced neurotoxicity and decrease of mTOR signaling in HT-22 cells. In conclusion, CRMP-2 protein expression controlled by the PI3K-mTOR-S6K signaling axis exerts its important functional roles in neuronal growth and survival.
