The purpose of this research was to understand the structure of the lived experience of a child terminally ill with cancer. The research question was "What is the structure of the experience of a child terminally ill with Cancer?" The sample consisted of 17 children admitted to the Cancer units of two university hospitals in Seoul. The unstructured interview were carried out from January, 1992 through December, 1992. They were audio -recorded and analyzed using Van Kaan's method. There are different views on the causing factors of Cancer. Irregular daily habits, fatigue, weak, physical condition, disease, anger, tension, guilt feeling, air pollution and unhealthy diet are considered to be related factors. The reaction to Cancer can be varied : fear, despair, avoidance, acceptance, apathy, grief, anger, anxiety over medical expense. Over a period of illness, these children experience side effects of medicine, acute pain, loss of appetite, withdrawal of activities, feeling of loneliness or isolation, loss of interest in communication, search for a religion and support from religious leaders. The children with Cancer have observed various changes in family relationships. The expressed desires of these children include health, happy family, possession of desired things, religious expectations, being useful to other people. The nurse, by providing empathetic support, should be a person with whom childrens can express their feelings and share their experiences.
The Role of Customer Values in Increasing Tourist Satisfaction in Gianyar Regency, Bali, Indonesia

Customer value has long been believed to be a direct trigger for increased tourist satisfaction, but as a mediating variable, it still needs to be proven further. This paper aims to examine the causal relationship between research variables, as well as to examine the role of customer value as a mediating variable in the relationship between service quality, brand quality, tourism products, customer value, and tourist satisfaction with tourists’ objects. The population is tourists who visit tourist sites/destinations in the Gianyar Regency on the island of Bali, Indonesia, and the sample size is 270 respondents, selected through random sampling. Structural equation modeling (SEM), a multivariate statistical analysis technique, is used to analyze the causal relationships between variables. The results show that the model is accepted, and customer value is proven to be a positive mediating variable. The results also show that service quality, brand quality, and tourism products have an effect on customer value. This provides insight into the practical implications for tourism managers to increase the brand quality of tourist attractions as well as increase the professionalism and quality of tour guide services. This, in turn, will increase customer value and increase tourist satisfaction.

A ruthenium(II)-catalyzed, highly selective, quantitative radical addition of an alkene, methacrylic acid (MAA), has been achieved by using a template halide (2) containing a built-in amine group as a recognition site for the carboxyl group of the substrate. The specific ionic binding of MAA by the amine template (1:1 molar ratio) led to preferential formation of the 1:1 MAA-2 adduct, whereas a similar halide without a template induced MAA oligomerization even in the presence of an externally added amine. A competitive radical addition of MAA versus its ester form [methyl methacrylate (MMA)] on the halide further demonstrated that the substrate selectivity [k'(MAA)/k'(MMA)] for 2 is enhanced more than 10 times by the intramolecular introduction of the template relative to the result for the nontemplate halide. These specificities are most likely triggered by the specific interaction (recognition) of the carboxyl group in MAA via the acid-selective template amine, which is implanted in the close vicinity of the radical addition site in 2. These results intimate possibility of control over the repeat-unit sequence in precision polymerization.

Convolutional Neural Network-Based Metal Surface Defect Detection
Ida Bagus Krishna Yoga Utama,Yeong Min Jang 한국통신학회 2021 한국통신학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2021 No.6
The visual inspection using computer vision technology is growing rapidly nowadays. The number of industries that relies on automatic defect detection is rising due to some limitations when doing defect detection manually by a worker. The automatic defect detection also benefits the industry because it will help increase the quality control of production line and in the end it helps to maintain the product quality. A convolutional neural network is developed in order to classify six types of defect on metal surface. The result is promising, the developed model able to recognize 95.8% of testing data correctly.
Grey zones of welfare: Normative coping strategies in rural Lithuania
Ida Harboe Knudsen 한양대학교 아태지역연구센터 2015 Journal of Eurasian Studies Vol.6 No.1
In this article I explore the ‘grey zones of welfare’ in rural Lithuania whereby I point to the inherent ambiguities that lies in a system where people to a high degree rely on networks and normative solutions to everyday shortcomings, rather than on the state. I argue that we in the period after socialism witness an increased degree of informal economies and social arrangements, as the formal sector of social security is perceived as unreliable. This results in a model where liberalism and individual ethics co-exist with a strong morality to support the poorest in society.
