        The purpose of this study was a biota research and analysis for Close-to-nature stream restoration planning of Shinchun. The summary of this study is as follows; 1) The vascular plants in research area recorded of 45 species and insect fauna recorded of 34 species of 8 orders. As a result of table of community classification, the communities were two group; Quercus variabilis community(I), Pinus densiflora-Quercus variabilis-Quercus dentata community(II). 2) As a result of analysis on correlation of tree species, the level of significance in positive correlation between Quercus dentata and Corylus heterophyll aindicated 1% and between Pinus densiflora and Lespedeza bicolor also indicated 1%. 3) As a result of DBH analysis, it is expected that Quercus variabilis and Quercus dentata will dominateover other species in competition and its succession continuously maintains from now on in community I. In community II, it is assumed that there is a high possibility of changing into community of Quercus such as Quercus mongolica, Quercus dentata, and Quercus variabilis. 4) As a result of analysis on insect fauna, insect fauna consists of 94% of whole species as 32 species, 23 families, 8 orders. And 7 species, 7 families 4 orders was found in highly urbanized area, the vicinity of Sang-Dong bridge. 5) As mentioned above, Based on A biota fundamental research, Close-to-nature stream restoration planning were full of suggestions: i) Designating ecosystem preservation area, ii) Making Close-to-nature stream revetments, iii) Making pool-and-riffle, vi) Making decks for observation and walks for nature experience, v) Creating wetland biotope. Through these methods, it is necessary to promote bio-diversity and lead people to the space for eco-learning.

        건강가정지원센터 가정생활교육 프로그램 운영 및 성과 : 용산구·숙명여자대학교 시범사업을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to propose a model for service programs and management strategies for the division of family education in Healthy Families Center. For the purpose, the researchers find out demands for the family education programs of people in Yong-San Gu, Seoul, exam the effect of each family education program of Yong-San Gu & Sookmyung Women's University Healthy Families Center from June to December, 2004. According to the results, people in Yong-San Gu need economic education service mostly, and they want to study at Saturday afternoon. The programs show positive effect on the improvement of family health.

      • New classification of late and delayed complications after dermal filler: localized or generalized?

        Background: As filler injections have become very common procedures worldwide, the number of complications has increased. However, there is a lack of systematized studies and precise classification of late and delayed complications. Objectives: This study aimed to suggest new and reliable classifications and to characterize the clinical manifestations of late and delayed complications after filler injections. Methods: This retrospective study analyzed patients and suggested a new classification of delayed adverse effects related to filler injection. Several demographic and clinical findings were analyzed. Patients were classified into two types according to their clinical presentation: Type I (Localized) or Type II (Generalized). Results: Twenty-five patients were evaluated during a clinically active adverse event suspected to be related to fillers. The most common injected filler substance was hyaluronic acid (HA, 68.8%). 76% of the patients were classified with Localized complications. In the Generalized complications group, systemic symptoms were more common (p=0.002), the treatment response was poor (p=0.010), and fewer patients showed complete remission (p=0.007) than in the Localized complications group. Conclusion: We propose a simple new classification method for late and delayed complications after dermal filler: Localized and Generalized. We expect that this new classification could help provide appropriate treatment and predict patient prognosis.

        A Pilot Clinical Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Phellinus Linteus (Sanghuang) Extract Treatment for Knee Osteoarthritis

        Background: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Phellinus linteus (PL) extract for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) a pilot clinical study was performed.Methods: There were 24 patients with KOA who enrolled in this double-blind, randomized, controlled, clinical trial. There were 3 groups: PL 1,000 mg/day (PL 1,000), PL 1,500 mg/day (PL 1,500), and dextrin 3,000 mg/day (placebo). Patients took capsules twice a day, 3 capsules at a time, over 8 weeks. Patients were monitored prior to treatment (Visit 1: Week 0), and followed up every 4 weeks (Visit 2: Week 4 and Visit 3: Week 8) where outcome measurements were taken. The primary outcome measure was the score from the Korean version of the Western Ontario and McMasters Universities from baseline to Week 8. The secondary outcomes were measurements from the visual analog scale, quality of life scale, erythrocyte sedimentation, and c-reactive protein. Adverse events were recorded at every visit.Results: The Korean version of the Western Ontario and McMasters Universities score showed the greatest improvement in symptoms of KOA in the PL 1,500 group compared with the placebo group. The erythrocyte sedimentation tended to decrease in the PL 1,500 group compared with the placebo group (which was within the normal range). The visual analog scale score decreased in all groups, with no significant differences between groups. No adverse events related to PL were reported. There were no abnormal hematological or physical findings.Conclusion: This pilot clinical trial was the first step to assess the efficacy and safety of PL used in the treatment of patients with KOA.

        Effect of Individual's Learning Organization on Knowledge Management and Innovative Behavior : Comparative Analysis on the Employees in Service, Production, and IT

        본 연구는 개인의 학습조직활동이 지식경영활동과 혁신행동에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석한 실증연구이다. 이를 위한 연구 방법으로서 본 논문은 서비스/제조/IT 대기업 종사자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 이를 토대로 산업별 변수 간의 관계에 대하여 비교 · 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 용어에 대한 정의를 살펴보면, 혁신행동은 새로운 공정 혹은 제품 아이디어를 찾고 개발하며, 아이디어를 실행하기 위해 필요한 자금을 확보하고, 적합한 실행 계획과 일정을 수립하고 스케줄을 개발하는 행동을 의미한다. 급변하는 경영환경 속에서 기업이 지속적인 경쟁우위를 획득하기 위해서는 다양한 방법으로 조직의 변화와 혁신을 추구하여야 하며, 이러한 혁신행동의 선행요인으로서 지식경영활동과 학습조직활동이 중요하게 인지되었다. 이상과 같이 실시된 연구 결과를 종합하여 살펴보면, 서비스업과 제조업, IT업은 개인의 학습조직 활동이 지식경영활동과 혁신행동에 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지식경영활동도 혁신행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 각 집단 별로 분석해보면, 개인의 학습조직활동이 지식경영활동에 미치는 영향에서는 제조업이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지식경영활동이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향에 있어서는 IT업이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났고, 개인의 학습조직활동이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향에서는 제조업이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 위와 같은 분석결과를 토대로, 본 연구는 학습조직활동이 산업별 종사자들에게 미치는 차이점과 변수 간의 관계에 대하여 중점적으로 논의하였고 그 원인을 제시하였다. Among the terminologies used in this study, the innovative behavior indicates the following: seeking and developing new process or product ideas, obtaining necessary budget for executing the ideas, and establishing appropriate execution plan and developing schedule. In order to secure competitive advantage in this quickly advancing business environment, various methods should be used to promote innovations and organizational changes. The important antecedents of these innovative behaviors can be known as knowledge management activity and learning organization activity. As a result of this study, the individual learning organization activity was shown to have a significant effect on knowledge management activity and innovative behavior, in the fields of services, production, and IT. Also, the knowledge management activity had significant effect on the innovative behavior. According to the analysis by each group, the effect of individual learning organization activity on knowledge management activity was shown to be greatest in the field of production. Also, the effect of knowledge management activity on innovative behavior was shown to be greatest in the field of IT. Finally, the effect of individual learning organization activity on innovative behavior was shown to be greatest in the field of production. Based on the above analysis, this study examined the relationship between the differences and the variables of the effects of learning organization activity on employees of each field, and its causes were suggested.

        Anti-inflammatory Effects of Complex Extract including Eucommia ulmoides in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 Cells

        Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory response of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) activated macrophages (RAW 264.7 murine cell line) to JCE003 which is an extract including Eucommia ulmoides, Juglans regia, Eleutherococcus senticosus, and Zingiber officinale. Methods: An MTT [3-(4,5-dimethylthiazole-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide] assay was performed to analyze the survival rate of RAW 264.7 cells. The production of nitric oxide and pro-inflammatory cytokines (IFN-${\gamma}$, TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-$1{\beta}$, IL-6) in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. mRNA expression levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IFN-${\gamma}$, TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-$1{\beta}$, and IL-6) were analyzed by quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis. Results: Exposure of LPS-activated RAW 264.7 cells to JCE003 was not cytotoxic up to $400{\mu}g/mL$, but cell survival was statistically significantly decreased at $800{\mu}g/mL$ (p < 0.001). Nitric oxide production was not markedly lowered in LPS-activated RAW 264.7 cells by exposure to JCE003 (10, 50, 100, 200, 400, $800{\mu}l/mL$) compared with the Control group. In addition, JCE003 reduced the production of TNF-${\alpha}$ in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells at $400{\mu}g/mL$ (p < 0.05), but IFN-${\gamma}$ and TNF-${\alpha}$ mRNA expression in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells was decreased at 100, 200, and $400{\mu}g/mL$ JCE003 (p < 0.01). Conclusion: These results suggest that JCE003 inhibited the expression and production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in LPS-activated RAW 264.7 cells. The findings of this study provide basic data for the development of new Korean medicine anti-inflammatory drugs.

        A Review of Research on the Treatment of Peroneal Nerve Palsy by Acupuncture and Moxibustion

        Background: This was a retrospective review of published articles reporting acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of peroneal nerve palsy. Methods: On-line database searches were carried out using; Cochrane Library, Pubmed, CNKI, NDSL and OASIS to find articles reporting acupuncture and moxibustion treatment for peroneal nerve palsy. Duplicate articles and studies that were not relevant to the topic were excluded, along with review articles and commentaries. Results: 20 studies were selected, 18 clinical case studies (47 patients) and 2 randomized controlled trials (154 patients). Intervention treatments included acupuncture, moxibustion, bee-venom (BV), pharmacopuncture, electroacupuncture and acupotomy. Surprisingly, although peroneal nerve palsy is not a very rare disease, only 2 studies out of 20 carried out a randomized controlled trial. Conclusion: Although studies to date report the efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment in peroneal nerve palsy patients, the absence of objective evaluation and the absence in the reporting of side-effects remains an issue.

        The Influence of Transformational Leadership Exhibited by Organizational Leaders on Organizational Commitment : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Knowledge Management Activities

        본 연구는 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 지식경영활동과 조직몰입에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였으며, 상사의 변혁적 리더십과 조직몰입의 관계에서 지식경영활동이 매개효과를 나타내는지를 분석한 실증연구이다. 이를 위한 연구방법으로서 본 논문은 서비스/제조/IT 대기업 종사자 635명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 이를 토대로 산업별 변수간의 관계에 대하여 비교·분석하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 용어에 대한 정의를 살펴보면, 변혁적 리더십은 목표달성에 그치지 않고 변화와 혁신을 추구하며, 조직구성원들이 지니고 있는 잠재적 역량과 강점을 개발하고 자신감과 열정을 증대시키며, 긍정적 강점을 자극하여 기대했던 것보다 높은 성과를 달성하도록 한다. 이러한 변혁적 리더십은 조직유효성을 증진시키는 선행요인으로 중요하게 인지되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 지식경영활동에 모두 유의한정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 조직몰입에 모두 유의한 정(+)의영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지식경영활동도 조직몰입에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로나타났다. 넷째, 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 조직몰입간에 지식경영활동의 매개역할에 관해서 부분매개효과를나타내는 것으로 분석되었다. 다섯째, 각 집단별로 분석해보면 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 지식경영활동에 미치는 영향에서는 서비스업이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 지식경영활동이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에서도서비스업이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에서는 IT업이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 위와 같은 분석결과를 토대로, 변혁적 리더십이 지식경영활동과조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 대한 결과의 의미와 산업별 차이에 대한 의미를 중심으로 시사점을 논의하였고연구의 한계점도 제시하였다. This empirical study analyzed the influence of transformational leadership on knowledge management activities and organizational commitment, and examined the mediating effect of knowledge management in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment. A survey was employed as the research method. The survey targeted 635 participants working in the service, manufacturing, and IT industries. The results were used to compare and analyze the relationships among industry-specific variables. Transformational leadership is defined as the tendency to strive for change and innovation despite the achievement of objectives, develop the potential capabilities and strengths that each member of the organization possesses, amplify their self-esteem and passion, and lead them to surpass their expected objectives by stimulating positive strengths. Such type of leadership has been perceived as a precedent that enhances organizational effectiveness. In summary, this study has yielded the following results: First, the transformational leadership exhibited by organizational leaders was found to have a significant positive impact on knowledge management activities as well as organizational commitment. Second, knowledge management activities were found to have a significant positive influence on organizational commitment. Third, the transformational leadership exhibited by organizational leaders was found to have a partial mediating effect on the mediating role of knowledge management activities in the relationship with organizational commitment. Fourth, analyzing industry-wise, the influence of transformational leadership on knowledge management activities was the most significant in the service industry, which was also the case for the influence of knowledge management activities on organizational commitment. The influence of leaders’ transformational leadership on organizational commitment was the most significant in the information technology industry. Finally, based on the aforementioned research results, suggestions were made regarding the meaning of the influence of transformational leadership on knowledge management activities and organizational commitment and the differences by industry thereof, while also suggesting the limitations of this work.
