      • Social Responsibility and Investment Scale of Chinese Listed Enterprises

        Research on corporate social responsibility is a hot topic in the financial field recently. Domestic and foreign scholars have conducted some researches on the impact of CSR on investment and financing, but the special institutional background of China has not been considered. Based on the background of Chinese enterprise system, this paper introduces the property right nature and analyzes the role of Chinese enterprises with different ownership nature in fulfilling social responsibility on the investment scale. Also cash as the most liquid asset is the core component of corporate governance. There are three conclusions and four policy recommendations. The first conclusions is an enterprise's active fulfillment of social responsibility will increase its investment scale. Second in state-owned enterprises, fulfilling social responsibilities has a more significant effect on the improvement of enterprise investment scale. And final conclusions is Corporate cash holdings will improve the impact of corporate social responsibility on corporate investment scale.The first policy recommendations is the government should promote listed companies to actively fulfill their social responsibilities.Secnd Listed companies should strengthen their awareness of social responsibility.Third Private enterprises should not only pay attention to their economic development, but also actively fulfill their social responsibilities.Fourth Enterprises should retain sufficient cash flow, which will have a positive impact on fulfilling corporate social responsibility, ultimately increasing investment scale and improving corporate performance.

        PF4V1 affects the progression of oral squamous cell carcinoma by regulating Wnt/ β‑catenin pathway and angiogenesis

        Platelet factor-4 variant 1 (PF4V1) was recently described as a natural non-allelic gene variant of platelet factor-4 (PF4), which has been closely associated with the growth and metastasis of various cancers. Our previous research showed that PF4V1 was related to oral squamous cells carcinoma (OSCC) metastasis. Howerver, it is still not clear about the functional role of PF4V1 in OSCC. In this study, stably transfected cell lines were constructed and the expression level of PF4V1 was verified by real‐time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and western blot. The effect of PF4V1 on proliferation, migration, invasion, and apoptosis of oral cancer (OC) cells were detected. Moreover, a xenograft tumor model was constructed to evaluate the effect of PF4V1 on OSCC in vivo. Indicators of Wnt/β-catenin, angiogenesis and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) pathways were also examined. Stable cell lines with overexpression and inhibited expression of PF4V1 were constructed successfully. After stable transfection, PF4V1 significantly promoted the proliferation, migration, and invasion of OC cells in vitro, and their tumor formation in vivo. Furthermore, PF4V1 remarkably promoted the expression of β-catenin, VEGF, and FGF but suppressed the expression of GSK-3β. There was no statistically significant correlation between PF4V1 and EMT pathway. This study provides evidence that PF4V1 promotes the proliferation, migration, invasion and tumor formation of OC cells by regulating the Wnt/β-catenin pathway and angiogenesis. Our findings suggest that PF4V1 could be a very promising target of OSCC therapy in the future.

        Micromechanical investigation of thermal stresses of a finite plane containing multiple elliptical inclusions based on the equivalent inclusion method and distributed dislocation method

        This paper presents a micromechanical method to analyze the thermal stresses in a finite plane containing multiple elliptical inclusions. Firstly, the Eshelby’s equivalent inclusion method is employed to solve the elastic fields of a two-dimensional infinite plane containing multiple elliptical inclusions under a uniform temperature change. Both the interior Eshelby’s tensor and the exterior Eshelby’s tensor are employed. Then the boundary of the plane is modeled by continuous distributions of dislocation densities. By combining the two steps, a system of singular integral equations is formulated based on the traction-free boundary condition. Then the thermal stresses of the plane can be obtained by the superposition of the stresses obtained by the Eshelby’s equivalent inclusion method and distributed dislocation method. Additionally, some examples are given to show the effects of the presented method. The effects of the material constants, geometric parameters and fiber packing arrangement on the thermal stresses are also studied.

        Multi-objective optimization of cycloidal gear based on segmental modification of pressure angle

        In order to get the optimal profile of cycloid gear after sectional modification, a multi-objective optimization design method is proposed that considers both the modification parameters and macro-parameters of the cycloid gear. An algorithm of meshing force, meshing efficiency and anti-gluing ability between the cycloid gear and the pin gear was derived, and the related independent parameters were extracted as optimization variables. Taking high efficiency, high strength and light weight as the objective, the mathematical models of doubleobjective and three-objective optimization were established, and the influence of key design variable on the objective function was analyzed, and NSGA-II multi-objective genetic algorithm was used to solve the Pareto optimal solution of the optimization mathematical model. Results show that the optimized parameters can significantly improve the meshing efficiency, reduce the volume and meet the design requirements of high strength, high efficiency and lightweight on the premise of ensuring the strength of cycloid gear surface.

        Coexistence of OSCR-Based IR-UWB System with IEEE 802.11a WLAN

        Impulse radio (IR) is a competitive candidate for ultra-wideband (UWB) systems. In this letter, we evaluated the coexistence of an IR-UWB system based on an orthogonal sinusoidal correlation receiver (OSCR) with an IEEE 802.11a WLAN through a detailed simulation. The coexistence performance of the two systems is characterized in terms of the receiver’s bit-error rates. Then, some approaches to interference mitigation are discussed.

        재무부정의 동기: 중국 루이씽커피의 사례를 중심으로

        루이씽커피는 중국의 신흥 커피 브랜드다. 루이씽커피는 온라인과 오프라인에서 운영되는 저렴한 커피 브랜드를 만들었으며 2019년에 성공적으로 나스닥에 상장하였다. 하지만 2020년에 루이씽커피의 재무부정이 폭로되었고 얼마 지나지 않아서 상장폐지 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 루이씽커피의 재무부정이 왜 일어났는지 그 이유에 대해 설명하고 해결책을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 사례연구 방법과 재무분석 방법을 적용하여 루이씽커피의 재무부정의 원인을 탐욕, 기회, 수요, 공개요인의 관점에서 해석하였다. 본 연구는 루이씽커피의 사례를 통해 기업들이 지배구조를 발전시키고 내부 통제를 강화해야 한다는 것을 제시하고 있다. Luckin Coffee is an emerging coffee band in China. It created an inexpensive coffee brand operating online and offline and soon successfully got listed on NASDAQ in 2019. However, Luckin Coffee’s financial fraud was revealed in 2020 and it was delisted shortly after. Therefore, this study aims to explain the reason why Luckin Coffee’s financial corruption occurred and suggest the solutions. The study applied the case study method and the financial analysis method to explain the causes of Luckin Coffee’s financial fraud in terms of greed, opportunity, demand, and exposure factors. This study suggests that companies should develop their governance structure and strengthen internal control through case of Luckin Coffee.

        Low-carbon Management;Internal Control;and Innovation of State-owned Enterprises in China

        Purpose Innovation is key for state-owned enterprises to realize the optimization;adjustment;and upgrading of their industrial structure. Both government supervision and internal control could impact the implementation of innovation strategies of state-owned enterprises. We empirically tested low carbon operations management and the role of internal control systems in state-owned enterprise innovation;as well as influence mechanisms. Design/Methodology/Approach This paper takes State-owned A-share listed enterprises in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from 2009 to 2017 as research panel data;and based on corporate governance theory constructs fixed effects models;and conducts analysis using SAS9.4 software for empirical research. Findings We found a significant positive correlation between internal control and state-owned enterprise innovation;which can improve input intensity and effectively guarantee the innovation output. There is a significant positive correlation between low-carbon management and innovation of state-owned enterprises which can improve the intensity of innovation input and significantly promote innovation output. Research Implications Our results reveal that low carbon operations have a regulating effect on the relationship between internal control and state-owned enterprise innovation. Under the environment of low-carbon management;enterprises can perfect the supervision mechanism of their internal control system and improve their innovation ability.

        Financial Shared Service Center Development in China

        Along with the increasingly fierce competition in the market, rising labor costs and other reasons, large enterprises gradually began to adopt financial sharing center of this new type of financial organization. These are the scattered around the financial department together set up financial sharing center, unified organization and operation management, to save financial and human cost, improve the efficiency of financial processing, reduce the financial risk control, etc. Starting from the related concepts, characteristics, and methodology system of financial sharing center, this paper analyzes and summarizes the related theories of financial sharing center. Then, taking ZTE Group's financial sharing center as the exploration point, this paper discusses the establishment, operation and problems of the financial sharing center in Chinese enterprises based on practical cases, and gives corresponding Suggestions based on the actual situation of ZTE Group and the reference of relevant materials. The main research contents of this paper are as follows: First, based on the references and their own sorting and induction, the financial sharing center related concepts are discussed. Secondly, it analyzes the existing financial management problems before the establishment of THE FINANCIAL sharing center of ZTE Group, as well as the construction plan of the financial sharing service center, mainly including internal accounting, organizational structure, information system and sharing ability, and finally summarizes the important success factors of the establishment of ZTE financial sharing center. Thirdly, taking THE FINANCIAL sharing center of ZTE Group as a refract point, this paper makes an in-depth discussion on possible problems and optimization ideas in the establishment and operation of the financial sharing center of Chinese enterprises.

        Benzothiazole-based fluorescent probe for N2H4

        A fluorescence enhancement probe 2-[2-(1,3-benzothiazol-2-yl)phenyl]-1H- isoin-dole-1,3(2H)-dione (HL1) for N2H4 was synthesized and characterized by using 2-(2-aminophenyl)benzothiazole as a fluorophore, and its spectroscopic properties had been researched. The results exhibited that HL1 was highly selective and sensitive to N2H4, and it had the excellent anti-interference ability and displayed a fast response. The fluorescent intensity of HL1 showed a good linear relationship with the concentration of N2H4 (1.5–12.5 μmolL1), and its detection limit was 0.12 μmol/L. In addition, HL1 was also applied for determin- ing N2H4 levels in real water samples and imaging N2H4 in living HeLa cells.

        Functional Characterization of Arabidopsis thaliana WRKY39 in Heat Stress

        Arabidopsis thaliana WRKY39, a transcription factor that is induced by heat stress, is a member of the group II WRKY proteins and responds to both abiotic and biotic stress. Heat-treated seeds and plants of WRKY39 knock-down mutants had increased susceptibility to heat stress, show-ing reduced germination, decreased survival, and elevated electrolyte leakage compared with wild-type plants. In con-trast, WRKY39 over-expressing plants exhibited enhanced thermotolerance compared with wild-type plants. RT-PCR and qRT-PCR analysis of wrky39 mutants and WRKY39 over-expressing plants identified putative genes regulated by WRKY39. Consistent with a role for WRKY39 in heat tolerance, the expression levels of salicylic acid (SA)-regulated PR1 and SA-related MBF1c genes were down-regulated in wrky39 mutants. In contrast, over-expression of WRKY39 increased the expression of PR1 and MBF1c. The WRKY39 transcript was induced in response to treat-ment with SA or methyljasmonate. Analysis of heat stress-induced WRKY39 in defense signaling mutants, including coi1, ein2, and sid2, further indicated that WRKY39 was positively co-regulated by the SA and jasmonate (JA) sig-naling pathways. Together, these findings reveal that heat stress-induced WRKY39 positively regulates the coopera-tion between the SA- and JA-activated signaling pathways that mediate responses to heat stress.
