      • 콩의 식품적 의의 및 생산수급과 식용콩의 자급 향상

        콩은 단백질 공급을 비롯하여 영양가가 높아 예로부터 우리의 중요 식품으로 널리 다양하게 이용하여 왔을 뿐 아니라 지속적인 밭작물 재배를 가능케 하는 중요한 역할을 하여 왔으며, 최근에는 건강식품으로 또 친환경 농업 작물로 주목을 받고 있다. 콩은 세계적으로 99,501천ha에서 223,185천톤(2,243kg/ha)이 생산되고 그의 35.5% (35,130백만불)가 수출되고 그 중 43%는 미국 콩이, 96.5%는 미대륙 생산 콩이 수출되고 있으며, 수입의 반 정도는 중국이, 37.6% 정도는 유럽의 선진국과 일본 등 10여 개국에서 각각 수입하고 있고, 우리나라도 10번째의 수입국이며 세계적 소비수요는 계속 증가되고 있다. 우리나라는 1968년의 313,501ha의 재배에서 계속 감소하여 현재는 75,242ha에서 132,674톤이 생산되고 1,261천톤이 수입되었으며, 전체 자급률은 수요량 1,333천톤의 8.6%, 식용 및 기타는 수요량 387천톤의 29.5%에 불과하다. 콩, 특히 식용콩의 증산에 의한 자급율 향상은 경지정리 및 주산단지 조성을 통한 생력기계화 재배를 전제로 첫째, 밭의 작부체계 개선 둘째, 논의 밭 전환재배 셋째, 북한의 동해안 지대의 밭을 장기임대하여 재배하고 그 대가를 쌀 지원으로 하는 것이며 넷째는 인접국에서 밭을 매입 또는 장기 임대하여 생산 공급하는 방법 등을 생각할 수 있을 것이다.

      • 數種의 栽培條件下에서 出穗期 前後의 遮光이 大麥의 登熟 및 主要形質에 미치는 影響

        This experiment was carried out at the experimental farm of College of Agriculture, S.N.U. in 1975-1976. Shading treatments were conducted to find out the effect of shortage of sunshine at before and after heading on the grain filling and main agronomical characters of 2 winter barley cultivars under 2 different seeding methods and fertilizer levels. Two levels of shading were imposed during 3 phases. (Phase I: from 20 days before heading to heading, Phase II: from heading to 20 days after heading, Phase III: from 20 days after heading to maturity) The results are summarized as follows: 1. With 50% shading treatment during phase I, peduncle length, filled grain percentage,straw weight and grain yield were decreased in all cultural conditions. Culm lenght and grain numbers per spike were decreased in some cultural conditions. But other characters were not affected by shading. With 20% shading treatment during phase I, peduncle length was slightly decreased,but other characters were not affected. 2. With 50% shading treatment during phase II, filled grain percentage, straw weight and grain yield were decreased. 1,000 grain's weight and 1ι weight were slightly decreased in Buheung. These checked characters were not affected by 20% shading treatment during phase II. 3. With 50% shading treatment during phase III, filled grain percentage, straw weight and grain yield were slightly decreased. But these checked characters were not affected by 20% shading treatment during phase III. 4. Under shading treatment, seeding methods and fertilizer levels have no remarkable tendency in affection on grain filling and main agronomical characters.

      • 폐곡면에서의 광섬유를 이용한 기하위상 관측

        We report experimental verification of Berry's topological phase. The key elements in the experiment was a single mode, helically wound optical fiber, inside which a photon of a given helicity could be adiabatically transported around a closed path in momentum space. The experiment confirmed at the classical level that the angle of rotation of linearly polarized light in this fiber gives a direct measure of Berry's phase. The topological nature of this effect was also verified, ie, the rotation was found to be independent of deformations of fiber path if the solid angle of the path in momentum space stayed constant.

      • CFRP 복합재 적층판의 파괴메카니즘에 관한 연구

        In this study, when CFRP lamimates are subjected to static loading by the indentation of steel ball to examine a failure mechanism of lamimates, the fracture surface of interlaminar delamination generated at interfaces is investigated by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM). When orthotropic CFRP laimates stacked with two interface are subjected to static loading, interlaminar delaminations extend from the loading side to delamination edge even at any interface, and the fracture surface fo interlaminar delamination generated at two interfaces is symmertrically formed. In the CFRP laminates, the fracture mechanism sppears mainly to be the mixed mode(modes Ⅰ+Ⅱ), and the ratio of mixed mode varies partially. After the fracture initiates at the interface near the loading side with mode Ⅰ, the mixed mode gradually developes, but the total surface at the opposite plane to the loading side fractures with the mixed mode(modes Ⅰ+Ⅱ). While transverse cracks are generated, the direction of shear stresses reverses itself ar the delaminated surface, clarified by the hackle direction of fracture surface.

      • Planococcus屬 菌株가 生成하는 Alkaline Lipase

        A microorganism producing alkaline lipase strongly was isolated. The optimal condition to produce alkaline lipase by the selected strain was as follows; the medium was composed of 2% sucrose, 3% soybean meal, 0.6% K_2HPO_4 0.1%(NH_4)_2SO_4 0.1% urea, and 0.1% MgSO_4, 7H_2O., and the initial pH was 8.0 to 8.5 and culture time was 48hr. The lipase of the culture supernatant was purified by fraction-with ammonium sulfate at 30-50% saturation, followed by DEAE-cellulose chromatography. The specific activity of the purified enzyme was about 7.8 times over that of the starting centrifugate, and the yield was about 8.05% of the original activity. The enzymatic characteristics is included as follows; optimal pH of the enzyme was 9.0, and the stable pH range was between 6 to 10, and optimal temperature was 55C. And more than 85% of the enzyme activity remained after exposure at 60C for 30 min. Lipase activities were stimulated in the presence of Ca^++ and Mg^++, and inhibited in the presence of Hg^++ and Cu^++ The enzyme was apt to hydrolyze oils containing natural triglycerides plentifully. On the basis of the taxonomical studies, the selected strain was identified as Planococcus sp.

        본 실험에서는 자동차의 전륜 구동축재(S43C, S50C)에 대해서 미소 원공결함을 가공한 비열처리재와 고주파열처리재의 피로시험편에 회전굽힘응력을 가하여 피로강도와 피로크랙의 발생 및 전파거동에 관하여 실험한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 내렸다. 비열처리 S43C재 및 S50C재의 피로한도는 각각 98.1MPa, 107.9MPa이었고, 열처리재의 경우 각각 147MPa, 156MPa로서 열처리재는 비열처리재보다 약 50Mpa 증가하였다. 응력이 피로한도의 110%에서 120%로 증가하는 경우 비열처리인 S43C재 및 S50C재에서 피로수명의 감소율은 각각 약 49%, 약 45%였으며 또한 열처리재의 경우는 각각 약29%, 약 22%로서 비열처리재보다 열처리재가 피로수명 감소율이 낮게 나타났다. 평활재에서 표면 미시크랙의 발생은 비열처리재인 S43C 및 S50C에서는 수명비(N/Nf) 0.2정도에서 처음 관찰되었으며, 동일한 수명비에서 관찰된 미시크랙의 수는 S43C가 많았고, 평균 크랙길이는 S50C가 길었다. 피로크랙길이와 파단수명비의 관계 log(2a)=A+B(N/Nf)식에 본 실험재료를 적용한 결과 응력수준에 관계없이 잘 일치하였다 In this paper, an experiment to investigate the behavior of fatigue crack propagation in induction hardened structural carbon steel(S43C, S50C) with artificial defect are conducted by the rotary bending fatigue test in the room temperature. The summarized results are as follows: The fatigue limits obtained from experiments of as-received S43C and S50C were 98.1MPa and 107.9MPa respectively. The fatigue limit of heat-treated materials were 147MPa and 156MPa respectively. It means that the heat-treated specimens showed about 50MPa higher fatigue limits than the as-received material. When the applied stress was increased from 110% to 120% of fatigue limit, the decreasing rate of fatigue life was around 49% and 45% respectably in the as-received S43C and S50C, in case of the heat-treated materials, the decreasing rate of fatigue life was around 29% and 22% respectively. It means that the heat-treated materials had lower decreasing rate of fatigue life than the as-received materials. The initiation of surface micro crack was observed at 0.2 of fatigue life ratio in as-received S43C and S50C. The number of micro cracks in S43C were more than that of S50C, but the average crack length in S50C was longer than that of S43C at the same fatigue life ratio. Experimental results obtained from fatigue test were evaluated with the equation log(2a)=A+B(N/Nr). The relationship between crack length and cycle ratio showed a good agreement to the experimental results.

        We report an experimental verification of Berry s phase for noncyclic evolution curves by use of the geodesic rule. we measure the rotation of the plane of polarization in the system of uniformly wound half turn single mode optical fibers The experiments show that we can extract such purely geometric effects for noncyclic evolution.

        The value of the geometrical phase observed with two disconnected uniformly wound quarter-turn optical fibers and a linear polarizer between them is quite different from that measured with a uniformly wound half turn optical fiber although evolution curves in the propogation vector sphere for the cases are the same We try to analyze the experimental data by applying the geodesic rule to each evolution curve for the two quarter turn fibers Although this is only a trial, the theoretically obtained values are well compatible with the experimental data.

        금속 도재 수복물을 이용한 청년기 법랑질 이형성증 환자의 수복증례

        전반적인 치아변색과 치아마모가 심한 환자들이 심미를 위해 전치부 치료를 원하는 경우가 있다. 이런 경우 법랑질 이형성증에 대해 의심해 보아야 하며 임상 검사 및 방사선 검사를 통해 확인을 해야 한다. 법랑질 이형성증으로 판단된 경우 단지 심미적 목적 하에 전치부 치료만 하는 것은 바람직하지 못하다. 본 증례는 법랑질 이형성증으로 진단된 청년기 환자에서 대부분의 치아를 금속 도재 수복물로 치료하였다. 전반적인 변색 및 마모, 치관 파절이 있었으며, 좌측 전치부와 구치부에 교차교합이 있었다. 심미적, 기능적인 개선을 목적으로 하여 치아를 수복하였다. 전치부의 교차교합은 해소하였고, 구치부의 교차교합은 해소하지 않은 채로 진행하였다. 수복 이후 환자는 심미적, 기능적으로 만족하였으며, 3개월간의 임상관찰에서 특이할 문제없이 안정적으로 유지되어 보고하고자 한다. Some patients with generalized attrition and teeth discoloration may want their anterior teeth to be treated just for esthetic improvement. Ameologenesis imperfecta, however, should be considered for such patients prior to any treatment with thorough clinical and radiographic examination. If a patient is diagnosed with amelogenesis imperfecta, the treatment on anterior teeth just for esthetic purpose is not advisable. In this case, a young man with amelogenesis imperfecta was treated with metal-ceramic restorations. The patient had generalized attrition, teeth discoloration, crown fracture, and cross-bite on the left teeth. The ultimate objective of this treatment was to enhance esthetics and masticatory function. The cross-bite on the left anterior teeth was treated with restorations, whereas the reverse horizontal overlap was maintained on the posterior. The patient was satisfied with the result esthetically and functionally, and the third month recall examination revealed no pathologic changes associated with the treatment.
