      • 들민달팽이(Deroveras varians)의 배자발육과 난황단백질

        들민달팽이의 배자발육은 해부현미경으로 관찰하였다. 산란 후 4일이 경과면서 발육이 급격하게 진전되어, 10일이 지나면서 난 내에서 들민달팽이 유충의 형태를 갖추고, 12일째 부화하였다. 들민달팽이의 배자발육에 따른 난황단백질의 변화는 산란 1일째, 3일째 및 6일째 알의 난황단백질을 전기영동방법으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 배자발육과 함께 급격히 감소되는 난황단백질 관련 밴드를 관찰할 수 있었다. We characterized embryogenesis and egg proteins of Variable field Slug, Deroceras varians. The embryogenesis was observed by light microscopy. The eggs were hatched at the twelfth day after oviposition. The egg proteins of the first day, third day and sixth day after oviposition were analyzed by native-and SDS-PAGE analyses. The results showed that yolk proteins are gradually decreased during embryogenesis.

      • 觸媒를 使用한 木材의 直接液化에 關한 硏究

        Chemical feedstocks and fuels from biomass sources are rapidly attracting our attentions, today. The widespread uses of renewable biomass sources are inevitable for the near-term demise of petroleum sources. The liquefaction of wood (Pinus rigida, Populus euramericana, Salix pseudo-lasiogyne) in au toclave gives the following results. The liquid yield and the conversion are increased by using catalysts and Ni is more effective catalyst than bentonite in liquid yield. The liquid yield is maximum at 300℃(85 atm), with Ni catalyst (for Pinus rigida :0.52, for Populus euramericana : 0.53, for Salix pseudo-lasiogyne : 0.46). Populus euramericana gives more higher liquid yield than others in general. The liquid produced by using Raney-nickel catalyst represents higher combustion heat. The amount of produced gas is increased as the temperature increase from 200℃ to 400℃ without catalysts, but, when catalysts are used, that is maximum at 350℃.

        본 논문은 영어의 소위 비한정절인 부정사와 동명사의 구조를 규명해 보려는 데 그 목적이 있다. 굴절요소로 나타나는 INFL이 한정절의 핵(Head)이라는 가정하에 본 논문은 비한정절도 to'와 ing'가 INFL을 나타내는 요소임을 주장하고 각 비한정절의 차이는 C(OMP) 투사구조의 존재여부와 INFL의 자질 차이에 있음을 주장하여 한다.

      • Bicycle Ergometer 運動前, 後 血液成分 變化에 關한 硏究

        This study is meant to calculate the change of circulational ability (Heart rate, Blood pressure) and blood components (RBC, WBC, Hb, Hct, Glucose, Total cholesterol, Total protein) at rest (30 minute of rest before exercise), after exercise and at recovery (30 minutes of rest after exercise) by using bicycle ergometer. The boys (5 athletes group, 5 non-athletes group) were chosen form "K" middle school in "K" city and were examined to raise the expectations about exercise. The method of exercise load was decided with a pre-test at 80% of maximum heart rate with bicycle ergometer (Monark : Sweden). 2 minutes of warming up at 50 in 0 kp was done, and soon without rest, main exercise was done for 5 minutes at 50 in 30 kp. Blood circulational ability and blood components were examined three times respectively at rest, after exercise and at recovery. Blood circulational test was taken at sitting position using finger for heart rate and a Sphygmemanometer (Tycos type, Auto) 5cc of blood was collected using one time injector through the antecubital vein and soon 1cc of blood (anticoagulated, EDTA-2k) was examined for blood components change with Auto Cell Counter (ABX : France). The rest of the blood was placed in a plane tube. Later a biochemistrical test was took with Hand Chemistry Analyzer (Gylford : U.S.A) and Auto chemistry Analyzer (Gylford : U.S.A). Experimental items were physique examination (Height, Weight, Chest), circulational ability test (Heart rate , Blood Pressure), hematological test(RBC, WBC, Hb, Hct) and biochemistrical test (Glucose, Total cholesterol, Total protein). The results were compared and analyzed according to experimental items, Standard deviation and mean were made by SAS package program at rest Exercise, and at recovery, The T-test about the difference in average between athletes and non-athletes was made at level of α=0.05, α=0.01 The results are as follows. 1. At rest , the heart rate of the athletes and non-athletes did not have statistical differences, but after exercise, both groups showed rapid increase with concerning difference (p<0.01). 2. At rest, the maximum blood pressure (at systolic) was lower for the athletes group with no statistical significance for both of the groups. After exercise, both groups showed high increase, and at recovery both groups showed quick recover rate. There were no concerning difference both at after exercise and at recovery. 3. At rest the blood components showed less RBC's and WBC's than the normal adults and an average rate of Hb's and Hct's. Only WBC's and Hb's showed statistical difference (p<0.05, p<0.01). 4. After exercise, both groups showed low increase of RBC's Hb's, and Hct's but WBC's showed high increase WBC's Hb's and Hct's showed concerning increase (p<0.05) 5. At recovery, both groups showed approximately 95% recovery rate of RBC's Hb's and Hct's of the blood components, but WBC's showed a high recovery rate of 106%. Only WBC's and Hb's showed statistical difference (p<0.05) 6. At rest, Glucose and Total cholesterol was lower in athletes group but there were no statistical difference in both groups. After exercise both groups showed low increase in them. Glucose showed concerning difference (p<0.01) At recovery, both groups showed rapid recovery rare, but no concerning difference. 7. At rest, Total protein was low in athletes group with no statistical significance. After exercise, both groups showed low increase with no concerning differences. At recovery, both groups recovered quickly, but were no concerning differences. Concluding the above, compared to the non-athletes group, the athlete group showed low numeric value in blood circulating ability and change in blood components at rest, after exercise and of recovery. The low numeric value in blood circulating ability and quick recovery seems to reason form everyday planed and regular exercise in which physical and biochemical changes occur which gives the ability to adjust to the moving parts. The future subject is to understand the effect to the students of early growth which happen by the influence of developing society and to do continuous research of age, sex distinction, and areas to judge the details and intensity of physical strength training, and need to research with long and planned physical strength examination.

        하악 제1대구치의 치근 만곡에 영향을 주는 요인

        Purpose : To find the cause of root curvature by use of panoramic and lateral cephalometric radiograph. Materials and Methods : Twenty six 1st graders whose mandibular 1st molars just emerged into the mouth were selected. Panoramic and lateral cephalometric radiograph were taken at grade 1 and 6, longitudinally. In cephalometric radio graph, mandibular plane angle, ramus-occlusal plane angle, gonial angle, and gonion-gnathion distance (Go-Gn distance) were measured. In panoramic radio graph, elongated root length and root angle were measured by means of digital subtraction radiography. Occlusal plane-tooth axis angle was measured, too. Pearson correlations were used to evaluate the relationships between root curvature and elongated length and longitudinal variations of all variables. Multiple regression equation using related variables was computed. Results : The Pearson correlation coefficient between curved angle and longitudinal variations of occlusal plane-tooth axis angle and ramus-occlusal plane angle was 0.350 and 0.401, respectively (p<0.05). There was no significant correlation between elongated root length and longitudinal variations of all variables. The resulting regression equation was Y=10.209+0.208X_(1)+0.745X_(2) (Y: root angle, X_(1): variation of occlusal plane-tooth axis angle, X_(2): variation of ramus-occlusal plane angle). Conclusion: It was suspected that the reasons of root curvature were change of tooth axis caused by contact with 2nd deciduous tooth and amount of mesial and superior movement related to change of occlusal plane.         Culture is one of the most important elements in learning a language. To understand a sentence in a language implies to understand cultural elements behind the words which make the sentence. This paper is designed to introduce some important words in the history of American immigration and link them to learning English as a foreign language. Some word formations are also introduced to explain how such words as WASP and Forty-niners are coined. The history behind these words may trigger curiosity and interest for students in learning English.

        The purpose of this study is to explore some theoretical perspectives on the aging process for the elderly Education. That purpose was intended to provide practical alternatives which solve the problems concerning with education and life of the elderly. Aging theories have examined the experience of aging from one of two perspectives. Either they have focused on personal experience as related to change and adaptation in later life experiences, or they have focused on social factors that shape the experiences of later life. Theories such as disengagement theory, activity theory, and continuity theory, are representative of theories of aging that have attempted to explain the nature of later life in terms of personal experiences and adaptation. In contrast, the theories of socialization to old age, modernization, and age stratification have tended to characterize the nature of later life as dependent on the social structure within which it exists. These perspectives are not the only existing theories. However, they were chosen to provide an overview of the attempts ot explain the experience of growing old. The theories view aging as a life period in which one is faced with potential changes. These changes may result from changing personal expectations and abilities, from changes in social structure and social expectations, or a combination of both. The puality of late life is defined by how effectively the individual manages these changes. In conclusion, we must connect education with aging for the elderly to make their self- actualization.
