Reliability analysis of martial arts arena robot systems based on fuzzy set theory

Guang-Jun Jiang,Le Gao 대한기계학회 2018 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.32 No.11

The reliability of the martial arts robot, which is a popular object of the intelligent robot competitions, is studied in this paper. Due to various uncertainties, the precise models of failure probabilities can’t be established. The fuzzy set theory is adopted to enable dynamic quantitative analysis of the system reliability, and the triangular fuzzy numbers are used to represent the failure possibility of basic events. To obtain the fuzzy failure probability importance of basic events, the fault mechanism of the martial arts arena system is studied. The intelligent robot system is evaluated by qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation. The results of this paper can provide theoretical analysis of the fault diagnosis and useful suggestion for maintenance of the martial arts robot.

Chatter reliability prediction of side milling aero-engine blisk

        Guang-Jun Jiang,Dong-Wei Wu,Nan Zhang,Jian-Xin Wu,Ying Wang 대한기계학회 2020 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.34 No.10

Reliability analysis of a dynamic structural system is applied to predict chatter of side milling system for machining blisk. Chatter reliability is defined as the probability of stability for processing. A reliability model of chatter was developed to forecast chatter vibration of side milling, where structure parameters and spindle speed are regarded as random variables and chatter frequency is considered as intermediate variable. The first-order second-moment method was used to work out the side milling system reliability model. Reliability lobe diagram (RLD) was applied to distinguish reliable regions of chatter instead of stability lobe diagram (SLD). One example is used to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method and compare with the Monte Carlo method. The results of the two approaches were consistent. Chatter reliability and RLD could be used to determine the probability of stability of side milling.

      • Recent Progress in Methods of Generating Water Mist for Fire Suppression

( Guang Xuan Liao ),( Xin Huang ),( Bei Hua Cong ),( Jun Qin ),( Jiang Hong Liu ),( Xi Shi Wang ) 한국액체미립화학회 2005 한국액체미립화학회 학술강연회 논문집 Vol.2005 No.-

To prevent the ozonosphere from being destroyed by Halon, it is an urgent task to find out Halon replacement. As one of the replacements water mist have showed broad applications by its advantages: little pollution to environment (not destroying the ozone layer or bring green house effect), extinguishing fire quickly, consuming a small quantity of water and having little damage to the protected objects. The methods of generating water mist strongly influence fire suppression effectiveness, which determine the cone angle, drop size distribution, flux uniformity, and momentum of the generating spray. The traditional water mist nozzle included pressure jet nozzles, impingement nozzles and twin-fluid nozzles. All of them have more or less disadvantages for fire suppression. Therefore, many research institutes and corporations are taking up with innovations in mist generation. This article provided some recent studies in State Key Laboratory of Fire Science (SKLFS) of University of Science and Technology of China. SKLFS have investigated new methods of generating water mist (i.e. effervescent atomization and ultrasonic atomization), and self developed a series of nozzles and developed advanced DPIVS (Digital Particle Image Velocimetry and Sizing) technique. Characteristics of water mist (the distribution of droplet sizes, flux density, spray dynamics and cone angle) produced by these nozzles were measured under different conditions (work pressure, nozzle geometry, etc.) using LDV/APV and DPIVS systems. A series of experiments were performed to study the fire suppression effectiveness in different fire scenario (different kinds of the fuel, fire size and ventilation conditions). The fire extinguishing mechanisms of water mist was also discussed.

Case Report : Pancreatic Panniculitis Associated with Acinar Cell Carcinoma of the Pancreas: A Case Report

( Zhen Jiang Zheng ),( Jun Gong ),( Guang Ming Xiang ),( Gang Mai ),( Xu Bao Liu ) 대한피부과학회 2011 Annals of Dermatology Vol.23 No.2

Pancreatic panniculitis is a rare type of disorder associated with pancreatic diseases. We describe here a case of 54-year-old man who was admitted to the Department of Dermatology with the diagnosis of erythema nodosum. The patient presented with a 9-month history of painful erythematous nodules on the extremities, joint pain and swelling, and weight loss. A highly elevated level of pancreatic lipase was found on the laboratory examinations. The biopsy specimens from the skin lesions showed subcutaneous fat necrosis. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) revealed a large mass with central necrosis in the body and tail of the pancreas. Distal pancreatectomy, splenectomy and partial transverse colectomy were successfully performed on day 17 of the hospitalization. The histopathologic findings supported the diagnosis of acinar cell carcinoma of the pancreas (ACCP). Postoperatively, the level of serum lipase returned to normal, and the skin lesions and joint manifestations gradually regressed. However, the swelling did not significantly resolve in the left knee. In view of the non-specific clinical presentation of this disease, clinicians should be alert and have a high index of suspicion for pancreatic panniculitis. (Ann Dermatol 23(2) 225∼228, 2011)

Case Report : Coexistence of Pancreatic Carcinoma and Pancreatic Tuberculosis: Case Report

( Zhen Jiang Zheng ),( Hao Zhang ),( Guang Ming Xiang ),( Jun Gong ),( Gang Mai ),( Xu Bao Liu ) 대한간학회 2011 Gut and Liver Vol.5 No.4

Pancreatic tuberculosis (TB) is extremely rare and mimics pancreatic carcinoma both clinically and radiologically. This paper discusses the occurrence of 2 heterogeneous masses located in the head and tail of the pancreas in an adult male. In this patient, laparotomy was performed because of the high suspicion of pancreatic carcinoma. Intraoperative fine needle aspiration biopsy revealed the coexistence of pancreatic carcinoma with pancreatic TB, and a combined resection of the distal pancreas and spleen was successfully performed. Following surgery, the patient received standard chemotherapy for TB. At 7-month follow-up, computed tomography showed resolution of the mass in the pancreatic head. Clinicians must maintain a high index of suspicion for pancreatic TB in patients with pancreatic masses. The coexistence of malignancy and TB should be considered when patients present with multiple pancreatic masses. (Gut Liver 2011;5:536-538)

      • Schwann-like cells from human melanocytes and their fate in sciatic nerve injury

        Chi, Guang Fan,Kim, Dae-wook,Jiang, Mei Hua,Yoon, Kang Jun,Son, Youngsook Lippincott Williams Wilkins, Inc. 2011 NEUROREPORT - Vol.22 No.12

We induced human melanocyte dedifferentiation to Schwann cell-like cells in vitro by a combination of forskolin, neuregulin-&bgr;1, neurotrophin-3, platelet-derived growth factor-aa, basic fibroblast growth factor, laminin, and heparin. Cultured human melanocytes constitutively expressed neural cell and melanocyte markers but melanocyte-specific marker, including microphthalmia-associated transcription factor and tyrosinase, expression was selectively lost after induction. In the sciatic nerve injury site, the induced cells were engrafted and closely aligned to axons and P0-expressing myelin sheaths, whereas uninduced cells were not colocalized with axons and myelin sheaths and reexpressed melanocyte-specific tyrosinase activity in vivo. Human melanocytes lose their melanocyte phenotype and transdifferentiate into Schwann cells under specific induction conditions and display their Schwann cell phenotype after transplantation to injured sciatic nerve tissue.

An Empirical Study on the Transformation towards Domestic Law of the Framework Convention of Tobacco Control under the Perspective of the Right to Health

        장광군(Zhang, Guang-Jun)(张,光君),장호연(Jiang, Hao-Ran)(蒋,皓然) 원광대학교 법학연구소(의생명과학법센터) 2020 의생명과학과 법 Vol.23 No.-

In 2020, the COVID-19, which spreads all over the world, leads public attention back to the right of health. Regardless of race and wealth, the health right belongs to all the mankind. Studies have shown that about 0.6% of the gases released from the burning of tobacco products are harmful, and 0.2% are carcinogenic or possibly carcinogenic. This figure is quite different from that of other global health problems such as AIDS, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and cancer, but the first international convention promoted by the WHO was the framework convention on tobacco control (FCTC). Since the tobacco control convention attaches great importance to the right to health, pays attention to reducing the cost of protecting the right to health from the perspective of prevention, and controls the smoking activity itself with low cost and high benefit, the convention has gained unprecedented recognition in the world, and has become one of the international conventions with the most contracting parties in the world. At present, more than 90 percent of countries have joined the convention, so it can be said that the prospect of its implementation is optimistic. In the context of the new era, the implementation process should focus on the construction of a comprehensive smoke-free environment and the infringement of minors by tobacco, including new-type tobacco. Just as the theme of World No Tobacco Day 2020: the tobacco industry is attacking the next generation. The legal effect of the tobacco control convention is actually the legal effect of the tobacco control convention in the country of the contracting states, which requires the contracting states to actively fulfill the general obligation of the transformation of domestic laws, so as to build a world defense line that jointly gives priority to the protection of the right to health, a basic human right. Although the convention on tobacco control article 5 paragraphs 1 and 2 (b) the common rules for tobacco control legislation obligation of the parties, but because of the convention on tobacco control principle and general, is still in the process of the implementation of the strategy of comprehensive smoke-free in time, space, and exposed the convention on the law effect dimensions into many weak links, to further give full play to the convention on tobacco control to maintain public health and promote the positive role of the right to health, measures should be taken by optimization. The research significance of this paper is as follows: first, it is helpful to sort out the practice of general obligations of the convention macroscopically. Secondly, it is helpful to make up for the excessive principle and generality of the convention by analyzing the relevant situations of contracting countries. Thirdly, the implementation of the comprehensive smoke-free strategy is conducive to understanding the weak links in time and space in the implementation of the convention. Fourth, it is conducive to proposing targeted and effective measures in the process of deepening the implementation of the convention. Fifth, it is conducive to making up for the hysteresis of the convention, so that the convention will continue to play a positive role in human health. Through the analysis of “health” in the text of the tobacco control convention, this paper demonstrates that the tobacco control convention takes the basic human right of health as the theoretical cornerstone, and strengthens the general obligation of the contracting states to carry out the transformation of the convention towards domestic law. Based on the data released by the United Nations, the World Health Organization and other international organizations, the implementation of the general obligations of the convention will be analyzed in terms of time, space and effect.

Analysis of the Baroreceptor and Vestibular Receptor Inputs in the Rostral Ventrolateral Medulla following Hypotension in Conscious Rats

        Yan Lan,Huan-Jun Lu,Xian Jiang,Li-Wei Li,Yan-Zhao Yang,Guang-Shi Jin,박주영,김민선,박병림,Yuan-Zhe Jin 대한약리학회 2015 The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology Vol.19 No.2

Input signals originating from baroreceptors and vestibular receptors are integrated in the rostralventrolateral medulla (RVLM) to maintain blood pressure during postural movement. The contributionof baroreceptors and vestibular receptors in the maintenance of blood pressure following hypotensionwere quantitatively analyzed by measuring phosphorylated extracellular regulated protein kinase(pERK) expression and glutamate release in the RVLM. The expression of pERK and glutamate releasein the RVLM were measured in conscious rats that had undergone bilateral labyrinthectomy (BL)and/or sinoaortic denervation (SAD) following hypotension induced by a sodium nitroprusside (SNP)infusion. The expression of pERK was significantly increased in the RVLM in the control groupfollowing SNP infusion, and expression peaked 10 min after SNP infusion. The number of pERKpositive neurons increased following SNP infusion in BL, SAD, and BL+SAD groups, although theincrease was smaller than seen in the control group. The SAD group showed a relatively higherreduction in pERK expression when compared with the BL group. The level of glutamate release wassignificantly increased in the RVLM in control, BL, SAD groups following SNP infusion, and thispeaked 10 min after SNP infusion. The SAD group showed a relatively higher reduction in glutamaterelease when compared with the BL group. These results suggest that the baroreceptors are morepowerful in pERK expression and glutamate release in the RVLM following hypotension than thevestibular receptors, but the vestibular receptors still have an important role in the RVLM.

      • Continuous DC-CIK Infusions Restore CD8+ Cellular Immunity, Physical Activity and Improve Clinical Efficacy in Advanced Cancer Patients Unresponsive to Conventional Treatments

        Zhao, Yan-Jie,Jiang, Ni,Song, Qing-Kun,Wu, Jiang-Ping,Song, Yu-Guang,Zhang, Hong-Mei,Chen, Feng,Zhou, Lei,Wang, Xiao-Li,Zhou, Xin-Na,Yang, Hua-Bing,Ren, Jun,Lyerly, Herbert Kim Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2015 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.16 No.6

Background: There are few choices for treatment of advanced cancer patients who do not respond to or tolerate conventional anti-cancer treatments. Therefore this study aimed to deploy the benefits and clinical efficacy of continuous dendritic cell-cytokine induced killer cell infusions in such patients. Materials and Methods: A total of 381 infusions (from 67 advanced cases recruited) were included in this study. All patients underwent peripheral blood mononuclear cell apheresis for the following cellular therapy and dendritic cells-cytokine induced killer cells were expanded in vitro. Peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets were quantified through flow cytometry to address the cellular immunity status. Clinical efficacy and physical activities were evaluated by RECIST criteria and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group scores respectively. Logistic regression model was used to estimate the association between cellular infusions and clinical benefits. Results: An average of $5.7{\pm}2.94{\times}10^9$ induced cells were infused each time and patients were exposed to 6 infusions. Cellular immunity was improved in that cytotoxic $CD8^+CD28^+$ T lymphocytes were increased by 74% and suppressive $CD8^+CD28^-$ T lymphocytes were elevated by 16% (p<0.05). Continuous infusion of dendritic cells-cytokine induced killer cells was associated with improvement of both patient status and cellular immunity. A median of six infusions were capable of reducing risk of progression by 70% (95%CI 0.10-0.91). Every elevation of one ECOG score corresponded to a 3.90-fold higher progression risk (p<0.05) and 1% increase of $CD8^+CD28^-$ T cell proportion reflecting a 5% higher risk of progression (p<0.05). Conclusions: In advanced cancer patients, continuous dendritic cell-cytokine induced killer cell infusions are capable of recovering cellular immunity, improving patient status and quality of life in those who are unresponsive to conventional cancer treatment.
