In this paper, we analyzed the elements of measurement uncertainty on electrical performance test which are the most important things in photovoltaic module performance test. Repeating the performance test by 6 men, the measurement uncertainty could be calculated. In this experiment, Solar Simulator (A-Class pulse type) used for domestic certificate test of PV module is Pasan IIIb (Balval, Switzerland). The possible elements of the measurement uncertain that could effect electrical performance test of PV module are reference cell, spectrum correction, error from measurement repetition, test condition, stability and uniformity of artificial solar simulator. To find the measurement uncertainty, 6 men repeated the test by 10 times. And the results were that numerical average value was 124.44W and measurement uncertainty was $124.44W{\pm}0.36W$ with 95% confidence level for 125W PV module(KD-5125).

In this paper, degradation in field-aged PV modules including degradation of interconnect, discoloration of encapsulant and hot spot have been observed and analyzed. From the results, photovoltaic module installed for 6 years shows around 16 % drop of electrical properties due to the interconnect degradation and PV module passed 18 years has been found to drop of around 20 % mainly by the encapsulant discoloration. Furthermore the difference between low and high temperature of PV array at hot spot goes up to 3$0^{\circ}C$ and it leads to interconnect degradation. On the other hands, the temperature difference was observed to be around 15$^{\circ}C$ at the encapsulant discoloration spot of PV array.

In this paper. we studied the effects of environmental changes on photovoltaic module's optical and electrical output power characteristics. Five modules were prepared and tested by electrical and optical test methods when exposed outdoor. Through this experiment, we found that all modules have a fluctuation in maximum output power generation and transmittance through the front side glass depending on environmental condition like rain, dust and snow. Combining these results, we did a simulation using SolarPro and annual power generation capacity was calculated. The detailed analysis is described in the following paper.

The integration of PV technology into roofs of houses is an approach that is being championed in Germany, Japan and Korea etc. In the Korea, given the large number of houses that are projected to be built by 2012. However many PV systems are not installed in suitable part which is concerned about geometrical factor. It is generally recognized that the actual output of PV system in field is a function of orientation, tilt angle, irradiance, wind speed, air temperature, soiling and various system-related losses. Thus this paper shows that a simulation result of 20㎾ PV house in PV arrays with different azimuth angle. In contrast to annual generation of PV system whose azimuth is zero degree, annual generation of this system is reduced to one-fifth.

In this experiment, we did sampling 6 kinds of photovoltaic modules and analyzed the discrepancy of measurement results between 1 laboratory and 4 PV makers to have performance repeatability at Standard Test Condition (STC) condition. From the KIER's results. Korea's standard test laboratory, other laboratory showed -10% measurement variation. The causes came from correction of reference cell, test condition and the state of skill. Form the comparison test, we analyzed the problems. But three PV maker reduced measurement variation, other one PV maker and one test laboratory didn't improve the problems of correction of reference cell, test condition and the state of skill. Also, High Efficiency Module had a big discrepancy of -10.0 ~ -6.2% among 3 laboratories which have a less than 10msec light pulse duration time. This made low spectrum response speed so the Fill Factor decreased maximum output power under 10msec light pulse duration time.

In this paper. we studied analysis of roof integrated photo voltaic module's durability with acceleration test. Two kinds of modules and ten samples were manufactured and tested by electrical and environmental acceleration test method. Through this experiment, we found that all modules have excellence in insulation resistance and maximum output power generation. But there was a great deformation in the external appearance by naked eye examination like bubble, humidity penetration and backsheet tearing. These might be caused by manufacturing process condition and lead degradation when installed outside. The detailed analysis is described in the following paper.
