This paper presents driving path estimation algorithm for adaptive cruise control system and advanced emergency braking system using multi-sensor fusion. Through data collection, yaw rate filtering based road curvature and vision sensor road curvature characteristics are analyzed. Yaw rate filtering based road curvature and vision sensor road curvature are fused into the one curvature by weighting factor which are considering characteristics of each curvature data. The proposed driving path estimation algorithm has been investigated via simulation performed on a vehicle package Carsim and Matlab/Simulink. It has been shown via simulation that the proposed driving path estimation algorithm improves primary target detection rate.

This paper presents a modified track guidance algorithm for formation flight of multiple UAVs. The suggested guidance algorithm is the spatial version of the first order dynamic characteristics for a time-dependent system so the algorithm is able to generate a path without overshoot to track the desired line. A crucial design parameter is a spatial constant that controls the shape of the convergence to an assigned flight path similarly to a time constant. Reference flight trajectories are designed based on a two-dimensional vehicle model, and the performance of the proposed guidance law is verified by numerical simulation using rigid body UAV dynamics with MATLAB/Simulink Aerosim Blockset.

Korea is facing a significant problem with historically low fertility rates, which is becoming a major social issue affecting the economy, labor force, and national security. This study analyzes the factors contributing to the regional gap in fertility rates and derives policy implications. The government and local authorities are implementing a range of policies to address the issue of low fertility. To establish an effective strategy, it is essential to identify the primary factors that contribute to regional disparities. This study identifies these factors and explores policy implications through machine learning and explainable artificial intelligence. The study also examines the influence of media and public opinion on childbirth in Korea by incorporating news and online community sentiment, as well as sentiment fear indices, as independent variables. To establish the relationship between regional fertility rates and factors, the study employs four machine learning models: multiple linear regression, XGBoost, Random Forest, and Support Vector Regression. Support Vector Regression, XGBoost, and Random Forest significantly outperform linear regression, highlighting the importance of machine learning models in explaining non-linear relationships with numerous variables. A factor analysis using SHAP is then conducted. The unemployment rate, Regional Gross Domestic Product per Capita, Women's Participation in Economic Activities, Number of Crimes Committed, Average Age of First Marriage, and Private Education Expenses significantly impact regional fertility rates. However, the degree of impact of the factors affecting fertility may vary by region, suggesting the need for policies tailored to the characteristics of each region, not just an overall ranking of factors.

본 논문은 웹 서비스 프로토콜인 SOAP기반의 병렬처리 프레임웍인 pyBubble의 설계와 구현에 관한 것이다. 그리드 어플리케이션 프로그래밍의 어려움을 덜기 위해 그리드 미들웨어들로부터의 복잡성에 투명성을 제공하는 것을 본 논문의 목표로 한다. 이는 RPC스타일의 프로그래밍 인터페이스를 지원하면서 파이썬 스크립트 언어의 이식성과 확장성을 통해 기존 병렬처리 어플리케이션의 그리드화와 다양한 자원 스케줄링을 연구 할 수 있도록 하는 스케줄링 프레임웍이 주요 기능적 요소이다. 병렬처리를 위해 비동기 SOAP과 이를 이용한 Task-Farming과 DAG기반의 스케줄링의 지원함으로써 고성능의 그리드 계산환경을 제공하고자 한다.
