Study on performance test of orchard tractor power transmission systems

This study started to export an orchard tractor to Europe under the situations that R&D activities for orchard tractor were marginal and even it was not produced. The R&D for orchard tractor has been progressed and the most of it is accomplishing the goal. In this study, the durability of clutch friction part was tested for F/R clutch and moment of inertia of PTO clutch, and it was compared with the design criteria of transmission of tractor. According to the results of inertia test of F/R clutch, hydraulic pressures of clutch satisfied $1,961.33{\pm}196.13kPa$ of design criteria, and the variations of torque for forward and reverse operation were relatively constant. Therefore, it was found that the durability of clutch friction part was stable and reliable. Test results showed that the main hydraulic pressures were maintained $1,961.33{\pm}196.13kPa$ during the tests of moment of inertia of PTO clutch, and when it was operated, the hydraulic pressures were reached $1,961.33{\pm}196.13kPa$. Therefore, it was found that the hydraulic pressures of PTO satisfied the design criteria. By the results that the time of the hydraulic pressures of PTO reaching main hydraulic pressure, and that of torque values restoring to the original was same as the time of the first gear of PTO reaching the maximum rotational speed, it was found that PTO could transfer power to attachments as it was designed.
Development of Welsh Onion Harvester for Tractor

Purpose: To ascertain the increase of the farm income that predominantly relies on human resources by mechanizing Welsh onion harvesting, a tractor-mounted Welsh onion harvester was developed in this study. Method: An experiment for evaluating harvesting performance was performed for the developed Welsh onion harvester in an actual Welsh onion farm. The harvest performance was evaluated at the tractor running speeds of 5.0 cm/s, 11.4 cm/s and 15.8 cm/s, by comparing the operating efficiency, harvest rate, and damage rate of the Welsh onion harvester. Results: The performance of the harvester was rated as very good, with a 100% harvest rate, regardless of tractor running speed. Furthermore, it is shown that work efficiency of the harvester is expected to increase as the running speed increases. Nonetheless, the damage rate of the harvested Welsh onions at running speeds 5.0 cm/s, 11.4 cm/s, and 15.8 cm/s, increased correspondingly and proportionally to speeds from 4.55% to 6.53% and to 11.29%. The residual amount of soil on the harvested Welsh onions was about 0.24% of their weight showing excellent soil-removal performance of the harvester. Conclusion: The developed Welsh onion harvester is believed to improve the labor productivity and cultivation environment of Welsh onion farmhouses by the mechanization of the harvesting process that is currently associated with the largest amount of labor hours.

The present study was performed to clarify the recovery effect of polyacetylene constituents from Acanthopanax senticosus ethanol extracts on $CCl_4$-induced acute hepatic injury in dogs. Sixteen clinically healthy dogs were divided into the control group (six dogs), and experimental group I (three dogs), II (three dogs) and III (four dogs). Acute hepatic injury was induced by single intraperitoneal injection of 1 ml/kg $CCl_4$ solution ($CCl_4$ : olive oil = 1 : 1) after sterilization. The control group was orally administered with 10 ml of corn oil, and experimental groups I, II and III were orally administered with extracts of A. senticosus at the dose of 5, 10 and 30 mg/kg in 10 ml corn oil for seven consecutive days at 24 h after $CCl_4$ injection. We assessed changes occurring in serum ALT, AST and GGT activities on the pre, day 0, day 1, day 2, day 3, day 5 and day 7, together with the histopathological findings. In experimental group I, the significant changes in serum ALT activities were found on day 5 (p<0.05) and day 7 (p<0.05), compared with those in the control group. However, significant differences were not found in the changes of serum AST and GGT activities. In experimental group II, significant changes were found on day 2 (p<0.05), day 3(p<0.05), day 5 (p<0.05) and day 7 (p<0.05) in serum ALT activities, on day 1 (p<0.05) in serum AST, and on day 2 (p<0.05) and day 3 (p<0.05) in serum GGr activities, respectively. In experimental group III, the changes in serum ALT, AST and GGT activities were not significant. In the histopathological evaluation, experimental group I and II showed much improvement, while experimental group III became worse when compared with the control group. Based on the results of the present study, it was concluded that low dose (below 10 mg/kg) administration of polyacetylene constituents from A. senticosus ethanol extracts was effective for recovery of acute hepatic injury induced by $CCl_4$ in dogs.
Injection-Acupuncture Combined by Conventional Treatment in Canine Demodicosis: Case Report

Therapeutic effect by injection-AP with antibiotics plus conventional treatment was investigated to establisha new treatment method for canine demodicosis. Three patients diagnosed into canine demodicosis were used in thepresent study. Injection-AP with enrofloxacin (5 mg/kg, twice a week) was made into the acupoints such as Fei Shu(BL13), Wei Zhong (BL40), Da Zhui (GV14), Zu San Li (ST36), He Gu (LI04), Qu Chi (LI11) and Sang Yin jiao(SP06) for 5 weeks. Further, they were additionally received with conventional treatments including injection ofivermectin (0.5 mg/kg, twice a week, SC) and 0.05% amitraz rinse (twice a week) for 5 weeks. The clinical symptoms(pruritus, excoriation, erythema and alopecia) were much compared by those of pre-treatment. Case 1 became to normal after 4 weeks, Case 2 became to mild after 5 weeksand Case 3 became to normal after 5 weeks. Total WBC revealed decreasing tendency with treatment in all cases,however, N/L ratios didnt show regular pattern of change with treatment. Notable changes were not histopathogicallyfound in skin lesions of Case 1 and Case 3 except Case 2 with mild change after 5 weeks treatment, compared bythose of pre-treatment, respectively. Purpose : Through the research on ISO 22301 and IATF 16949, it integrated into HLS to be applied generally, and the specific corresponding standard requirements are classified separately, making it operated as a separate process, presents the useful information for application methodology on the quality management integration system of a new dimension to integrate the business continuity aspects and specific requirements to require in the automotive industry. Methods : The study on ISO 22301 and IATF 16949 and the process research through analysis of the existing papers, presenting the integrated operation research model for ISO 22301 and IATF 16949. Results : Presenting the cases of the previous studies and the basic concepts of ISO 22301 and IATF 16949, and the integrated operation research model for ISO 22310 and IATF 16949. Conclusion : Due to IATF 16949 quality management system standard revision (2016, October,1), the companies to prepare new standards application in the automotive industry are helped. It presents the application methodology to avoid duplication and to executive the certification effectively as presenting the application model of the integrate quality management system to the companies which have to pre-pare ISO 22301 business continuity certification standards in OEM requirements.
