Trace-forward만을 사용한 Viterbi Decoder

Recently, the Viterbi algorithm is widely used for the decoding of convolutional codes. This paper proposes a Viterbi decoder using a trace-forward processing to reduce the amount of memory storing the survivor path information and to increase the decoding speed. We adopt fully parallel structure for ACS(add-compare-select) units to minimize the delay which determines the Viterbi decoder's throughput. We reuses ACS units to reduce ACS area that occupies the majority of the chip area. The decoder is designed using VHDL and is implemented using a CPLD. It is verified to operate by a measurement using a logic analyzer.

In this study, we investigated science-related activities in everyday life perceived by elementary school students, and their preference and participation in the activities. We also analyzed the differences by student`s gender and interest in science. We developed a questionnaire of what activities elementary school students participated in daily experiences and how they perceived the connections of the activities with science. The questionnaire that was asked to rate the degrees of science-relatedness, preference, and participation of 35 activities was administered to fifth graders. The analysis of the results revealed that they perceived various everyday activities in their home and community as well as school were related to science. They generally preferred and participated in the activities. Boys perceived some activities, such as building things with magnets, Legos, or other toy and tools, more closely related to science, and the degrees of their preference and participation in these activities were higher than those of girls. It was also found that the students who were more interested in science not only perceived more activities related to science but also preferred and participated in the activities more. Educational implications of these findings are discussed.

In this study, we explored the factors related with preference for and participation in science-related activities of elementary school students. We developed a questionnaire to measure the characteristics of students such as motivation toward science learning, science aspiration, family science orientation, parental educational level and occupation, and the degrees of preference and participation of science-related activities. The questionnaire was administered to about 400 fourth graders in Seoul. The results revealed that the students with higher motivation toward science learning and/or science aspiration preferred and participated more in most activities. It was also found that parental educational level and occupation did not make an appreciable difference in preference and participation. The students who perceived their parents to be science-oriented, however, preferred and participated more in most activities. These results may offer practical implications for effective uses of both school and out-of-school science activities in elementary science education.

인삼에 등록되어 사용 중인 tebuconazole과 trifloxystrobin 및 mancozeb의 잔류특성과 가공에 따른 잔류량 변화를 구명하여 국제 잔류허용기준 설정 자료로 활용하기 위하여 tebuconazole과 trifloxystrobin은 지역이 다른 3개소의 4년근 인삼 포장에 안전사용기준에 준하여 2년간 연속살포 하고 매년 수확한 수삼, 가공품인 홍삼, 건삼 및 농축액 중 잔류농약을 분석한 후 가공계수를 산출 하여 Codex에 잔류허용기준의 설정을 제안할 것이다. 또한 mancozeb의 미국 잔류허용기준을 설 정하기 위하여 각각 다른 지역에 위치한 경시적 잔류시험 포장과 수확물 중 잔류량 분석 시험포장 에 안전사용기준에 따라 mancozeb를 살포한 후 경시적 잔류시험포장은 최종약제살포 후 0, 25, 35, 45, 55일에 각각 시료를 수확하고, 수확물 중 잔류량 분석 시험포장은 수확예정일에 수확하여 건삼을 제조한 후 수삼과 건삼 중 잔류농약을 분석하여 잔류특성을 구명하고 가공계수를 산출하여 미국 EPA에 인삼 중 잔류허용기준 설정을 제안할 것이다. 상기 연구가 종료되면 인삼 수출의 활성 화에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

소면적 재배 작물인 미나리 중 cyhalothrin(1% EC)과 diflubenzuron(25% WP)의 잔류특성을 구명하여 미나리에 대한 시험 농약의 안전성을 확보하기 위하여 이 연구를 수행하였다. 포장시험은 논 미나리보다 잔류량이 높을 것으로 예상되는 시설하우스의 밭 미나리를 이용하였다. 처리구는 수확 21일전부터 수확 예정 당일까지 7일 간격으로 2회 살포하는 조합으로 시험 농약을 살포하였다. 미나리 중 cyhalothrin과 diflubenzuron의 검출한계는 각각 0.004와 0.02 mg/kg이었으며, 회수율은 각각 94.9-101.2와 76.0-79.1%이었다. 미나리 중 cyhalothrin과 diflubenzuron의 수확 21일전7일 간격 2회 살포한 처리구의 잔류량은 각각 0.105-0.114와 4.74-5.83 mg/kg이었으며, 수확 7일전 7일 간격 2회 살포한 처리구의 잔류량은 각각 0.422-0.553과 12.62-13.32 mg/kg으로 수확일에 인접하여 농약을 살포할수록 높은 잔류량을 보였으나 살포 후 시간이 경과할수록 잔류량은 감소하였다.
The Optimal Blading Design and CFD Analysis of Axial Flow Fan

This study proposes a method to optimize the blade angle and chord length distributions of axial flow fan rotor blade, and applied it to the design of the actual industrial axial flow fan. The present design model of the axial flow fan rotor blade is to construct and stack the section profiles using single circular arc and airfoil thickness distribution with the camber and stagger angles as design variables along the blade span height from hub to tip, and the chord length distribution is designed in a parabolic fashion from hub to tip. The performance and efficiency of the fan rotor blades are predicted by applying a through-flow analysis method to the 3D fan blade geometry obtained from the design variables of the camber angle, stagger angle, and chord length of the blade sections. These fan design and through-flow analysis methods are used as the simulation engine for optimization problem. Through applying the optimization algorithm, an optimal axial flow fan rotor is obtained with maximum efficiency and computational fluid dynamics analysis is performed to verify the result of the present optimal design. From the computational fluid dynamics calculation results, it can be seen that the present optimal design model has an efficiency improvement of about 2% compared to the initial design, and maintains relatively high efficiency even under partial load conditions.
