Radiation therapy is an important treatment for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). However, how to promote radiation sensitivity in HNSCC remains a challenge. This study aimed to investigate the radiosensitizing effects of fenofibrate on HNSCC and explore the underlying mechanisms. HNSCC cell lines CNE-2 and KB were subjected to ionizing radiation (IR), in the presence or absence of fenofibrate treatment. Cell growth and survival, apoptosis and cell cycle were evaluated. In addition, CNE-2 cells were xenografted into nude mice and subjected to IR and/or fenofibrate treatment. The expression of cyclinB and CDK1 was detected by Western blotting. Our results showed that fenofibrate efficiently radiosensitized HNSCC cells and xenografts in mice, and induced apoptosis and G2/M arrest via reducing the activity of the CDK1/cyclinB1 kinase complex. These data suggest that fenofibrate could be a promising radiosensitizer for HNSCC radiotherapy.
Design and Implementation of Internal Multi-Band Monopole Antenna for Mobile Phones

In this paper, we proposed an internal multi-band monopole antenna for mobile phone that can be used for smart phones. The proposed antenna has a small volume of $38{\times}8.5{\times}5\;mm^3$, ground size is $100{\times}60\;mm^2$, and covers the GSM900 (Global System for Mobile communications : 880-960 MHz), DCS (Digital Communications System : 1710-1880 MHz), K-PCS (Korea-Personal Communications Service : 1750-1870 MHz), US-PCS (US Personal Communications Service : 1850-1990 MHz), Bluetooth (2400-2483 MHz), Wibro (2300-2390 MHz) and WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network : 2400-2483.5 MHz) bands. The measured peak gains of the implemented antenna are 1.15 dBi at 920 MHz, 3.58 dBi at 1795 MHz, 3.46 dBi at 1810 MHz, 2.91 dBi at 1920 MHz, 5.18 dBi at 2345 MHz, 3.37 dBi at 2442 MHz.

Objective: This study was performed to examine whether the porcine glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 1 (GOT1) gene has important functions in regulating adipocyte differentiation. Methods: Porcine GOT1 knockout and overexpression vectors were constructed and transfected into the mouse adipogenic 3T3-L1 cells. Lipid droplets levels were measured after 8 days of differentiation. The mechanisms through which GOT1 participated in lipid deposition were examined by measuring the expression of malate dehydrogenase 1 (MDH1) and malic enzyme (ME1) and the cellular nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) content. Results: GOT1 knockout significantly decreased lipid deposition in the 3T3-L1 cells (p< 0.01), whereas GOT1 overexpression significantly increased lipid accumulation (p<0.01). At the same time, GOT1 knockout significantly decreased the NADPH content and the expression of MDH1 and ME1 in the 3T3-L1 cells. Overexpression of GOT1 significantly increased the NADPH content and the expression of MDH1 and ME1, suggesting that GOT1 regulated adipocyte differentiation by altering the NADPH content. Conclusion: The results preliminarily revealed the effector mechanisms of GOT1 in regulating adipose differentiation. Thus, a theoretical basis is provided for improving the quality of pork and studies on diseases associated with lipid metabolism. Triaxial compression tests had been performed to determine the properties of the surrounding rock. The displacement and stress of surrounding rock had been analyzed according to Silin 2 at Yungui railway under three kinds of conditions: the initial state, excavation without supporting , and supporting after excavation. Plane strain FEM was established to analyze the stability of the surrounding rock. Contrasted the monitor measuring data, the results showed that the most unfavorable position in the tunnel was found at the ridge side of the arch, and the implementation of support afforded to ensure the stability of surrounding rock, and the design of the early support approach had the ability to meet the safety requirements. The results had certain significance for understanding the mechanical behavior of shallow tunnel in unsymmetrical strata. tunnel, mechanical behaviour, numerical simulation, deformation, stability.
Bit-Level Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Composite Chaotic Mapping

Because the single chaotic mapping easily creates security weaknesses in the image encryption algorithm, the security needs to be improved. Aiming at this problem, a bit-level image encryption algorithm based on composite chaotic mapping (CCM-IEA) is proposed. First of all, the algorithm scrambles the plain image on bit level through the Cat mapping for the first time. And then the Henon mapping of two dimensional discrete is used to scramble for the second time. Finally, image diffusion is operated through the one dimensional Logistic mapping, and the data sensitivity is enhanced. The experimental results show that the performance of the CCM-IEA algorithm is better on the histogram, information entropy and correlation analysis. Compared with the single chaotic images encryption algorithm, the CCM-IEA algorithm has the ability to resist the information entropy analysis and correlation analysis. It can be seen that the CCM-IEA algorithm has high safety performance and good encryption effect.
Fluid Solid Coupling Analysis of Large Underground Oil Storage Caverns in Containment of Groundwater

Triaxial compression tests had been performed to determine the properties of the rock mass around unlining underground crude oil a storage cavern which was the first one in China. The execution situation of the tunnel project and the seepage law of groundwater were taken into account. The stress and the seepage field around the tunnel in different working states were simulated by applying Comsol around a underground crude oil storage caverns. According to the test results, it was found that the excavation process may arise the local damage. The extension of the loose zone induced by excavation ranged from 0 to 15.6 m, depending on the buried depth of the caverns. According to numerical simulation results, the crown settlement and stress concentration was depended on the buried depth and the water pressure distribution after excavation of the main cavity. This research results can provide the reference for analysis on the stability of the underground cavities under low stress level and on the water sealed underground petroleum storage rock caverns.

Long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) havebeen implicated in the pathogenesis of various human diseases. In this study, we probed into the role and potentialmechanisms of the antisense of IGF2R non-protein codingRNA (LncRNA AIRN) in the progression of hepatocellularcarcinoma (HCC). Using a quantitative real-timepolymerase chain reaction, we corroborated that LncRNAAIRN expression was raised in the HCC tissues and cells. The bioinformatic analysis revealed that a potential interactionbetween LncRNA AIRN and STAT1, which wasverifi ed by the RNA pull-down and RNA immunoprecipitation. In the cycloheximide-chase assay, the knockdown ofLncRNA AIRN enhanced the stability of STAT1 protein. Inthe immunoprecipitation assay, the knockdown of LncRNAAIRN restrained the cullin 4A (CUL4A)-mediated ubiquitinationof STAT1 protein. The cell transfection, MTT andfl ow cytometry assays expounded that the LncRNA AIRN/STAT1 axis was bound up with the regulation of the proliferationand apoptosis of HCC cells. The in vivo experimentscorroborated that the knockdown of LncRNA AIRNrestrained the tumor growth of HCC. Our data expoundedthat the knockdown of LncRNA AIRN restrained HCC cellproliferation and boosted cell apoptosis by restraining theCUL4A-mediated ubiquitination of STAT1 protein.
