We study the magnetization relaxation of a Mn12-acetate molecular magnet in the presence of elds both parallel and perpendicular to the easy axis. Employing perturbation theory in the fourthorder transverse anisotropy and a perpendicular eld, we derive a tunneling splitting formula, by which we investigate the crossover between thermally assisted relaxation and quantum tunneling. It is found that the tunneling splitting formula can be expressed as a polynomial in the transverse anisotropy and the perpendicular eld. We also observe that the fourth-order transverse anisotropy enhances the ground-state quantum tunneling to give a crossover temperature higher than the value predicted in previous theories, which agrees well with the experimental result.
SURFACE RECONSTRUCTION FROM SCATTERED POINT DATA ON OCTREE

In this paper, we propose a very efficient method which reconstructs the high resolution surface from a set of unorganized points. Our method is based on the level set method using adaptive octree. We start with the surface reconstruction model proposed in [20]. In [20], they introduced a very fast and efficient method which is different from the previous methods using the level set method. Most existing methods[21, 22] employed the time evolving process from an initial surface to point cloud. But in [20], they considered the surface reconstruction process as an elliptic problem in the narrow band including point cloud. So they could obtain very speedy method because they didn’t have to limit the time evolution step by the finite speed of propagation. However, they implemented that model just on the uniform grid. So they still have the weakness that it needs so much memories because of being fulfilled only on the uniform grid. Their algorithm basically solves a large linear system of which size is the same as the number of the grid in a narrow band. Besides, it is not easy to make the width of band narrow enough since the decision of band width depends on the distribution of point data. After all, as far as it is implemented on the uniform grid, it is almost impossible to generate the surface on the high resolution because the memory requirement increases geometrically. We resolve it by adapting octree data structure[12, 11] to our problem and by introducing a new redistancing algorithm which is different from the existing one[19].

The Seoul Regional Input/output table was calculated from the National Input/Output Table of Korea(26 X 26 Sector Tables) by the Location Quotient Approach. The Calculating formula used the above approach is as follow: Ar = QAa The Calculating formula of the Inverse Matrix Coefficients is as follow: The Calculating formula of the Value Added Requirement coefficients is as follow: The Calculating formula of Employment Coefficients is as follow: Results of the Input/output analysis were as follows 1. Production induced effect was about 5,759 million won. 2. Value added effect was about 3,575 million won. 3. Employment increasing effect was about 606.6456 people per 1,000 million won.
문화·생태관광인프라로서 자연사박물관 건립방안에 관한 연구

In the late 20th, the urbanization of korea is above 80 percentage. So demands of the eco-tourism is increasing. The natural resources, eco-tourism education system and eco-tourism infrastructure are the most important factors for the eco-tourism. But, the eco-tourism system is not setup yet in korea. After Culture and Tourism Ministry's announcing for the plan of the national natural history museum, Some of provinces has done theirs best to invite the national natural history museum to their town or natural arena. and Others has tried to induce the capital for the erect of the natural history museum. Most of them has a project which is afoot to construct the natural history museum in the natural park of suburban because of the cost of construction. It runs into opposition of ecologist and NGO, conservationist. So, in this study, I tried to review thoroughly the location, function, operation system, and construction of foreign natural history museum, and to setup the theories and philosophies of the natural history museum as the the Cultural Eco-Tourism Infrastructure. and it is presented the lay out a scheme for the construction the natural history museum, location, building up the Cultural Eco-Tourism Infrastructure in this study.
Son of Notch, a Winged-helix Gene Involved in Boundary Formation in the Drosophila Wing

<P> A P element enhancer trap screen was conducted to identify genes involved in dorsal-ventral boundary formation in Drosophila. The son of Notch (son) gene was identified by the son2205 enhancer trap insertion, which is a partial loss-of-function mutation. Based on son2205 mutant phenotypes and genetic interactions with Notch and wingless mutations, we conclude that son participates in wing development, and functions in the Notch signaling pathway at the dorsal-ventral boundary in the wing. Notch signaling pathway components activate son enhancer trap expression in wing cells. son enhancer trap expression is regulated positively by wingless, and negatively by cut in boundary cells. Ectopic Son protein induces wingless and cut expression in wing discs. We hypothesize that there is positive feedback regulation of son by wingless, and negative regulation by cut at the dorsal-ventral boundary during wing development.</P>
비백금 촉매를 이용한 알칼리 연료전지 캐소드 전극 개발

저온에서 양이온 고분자막을 사용하는 고분자 연료전지의 경우 뛰어난 성능과 다양한 응용분야로 인해 많은 연구와 실증이 이루어지고 있지만 공기극에서의 느린 산소 환원반응으로 인해 백금과 같은 귀금속의 사용이 불가피하고 백금의 제한된 매장량과 높은 가격으로 인해 상용화가 늦어지고 있다. 그래서 많은 연구자들이 합금 촉매 또는 비귀금속 촉매를 이용한 전극 개발에 집중하고 있다. 알칼리 분위기에서 저가의 전이 금속들이 백금과 비슷한 활성을 보이고 고체 음이온 교환막이 개발됨에 따라 최근 알칼리 연료전지가 다시금 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 그러나 고분자 연료전지와는 달리 아직 촉매나 전해질막, 이오노머의 특성 및 메커니즘에 관해 별로 알려진 것이 없다. 본 연구에서는 직접 개발한 세공충진막 형태의 탄화수소계의 음이온 교환막과 비귀금속 공기극 촉매를 이용하여 막전극접합체(MEA)를 개발하였고 촉매 및 이오노머 함량과 같은 전극 조성, 막전극접합체의 제조 및 체결, 가습이나 가스조성 등의 단위전지 운전조건과 같은 다양한 변수에 대해에 최적 조건을 도출하고자 하였다. 공기극 촉매는 Cu-Fe/C를 이용한 상용 촉매를 이용하였고 이오노머의 경우는 탄화수소계의 상용 제품을 사용하였으며 음이온 교환막에 전극층을 형성하기 위해서는 스프레이 공정을 이용하였다. 단위전지를 통해 성능을 확인하였고 임피던스 및 CV를 통해 전기화학적인 특성을 규명하였다. 조건의 최적화를 통해 상당한 성능 향상을 이루었으나 추가적인 성능 향상 및 내구성 확보 등에 대해 계속적인 실험을 진행할 예정이다.
