THE EFFECT OF OXYGEN GAS PRESSURE ON THE PROPERTIES OF Ph ADDED Ba - FERRITE SPUTTERED FILMS
A. Morisako,F. Wada,M. Matsumoto,M. Naoe 한국자기학회 1995 韓國磁氣學會誌 Vol.5 No.5
BaM films have a lot of advantage of chemical stability and mechanical stability as compared with a metallic thin film. In this paper, (BaㆍPb)M films have been prepared by using dc magnetron sputtering system and the dependences of their crystallographic characteristics and magnetic properties on oxygen pressure(Po₂) were studied. The films prepared at Po₂ of around 0.02mTorr exhibit a fine particle-like structure and Δθ_50 is as small as 1˚. Hc_⊥, Hc_∥ and Ms of (BaㆍPb)M films are 700-800Oe, 200Oe and 180-230emu/cc, respectively.

Gaetice depressus is one of the most dominant macrozoobenthos species in boulder shores of intertidal coastal ecosystems in Japan. As recorded in previous studies, this species is also considered as having high density and biomass. Consequently, it is thought to be one of the more important species in the organic matter flow of boulder shores, especially through the food web. In this study, some taxonomic problems related to G. depressus were tackled and the autoecology and ecological processes in the intertidal ecosystem of G. depressus, such as organic matter flow, were investigated. Furthermore, in order to clarify the taxonomy description, resolve inconsistencies in the scientific name, and learn about the life history, a literature review was conducted. Seasonal changes in density, morphology pattern and population structure were determined based on the data obtained in Ebisu Island, Japan. Then, the role of G. depressus was determined by estimating the intake and emittance fluxes of organic carbon and nitrogen through ingestion and egestion process in the boulder shores of Ebisu Island. A feeding rate experiment was also conducted in order to estimate the intake flux by using the catch-release-recapture method. Meanwhile, to estimate the emittance flux, a defecation rate experiment was conducted by catching some individuals of G. depressus, and then incubating them in the laboratory. The feeding rate measured by the speed of diet consumption of G. depressus was about 12.6 mg ind-1 h-1. Considering the average density, the intake flux through the feeding process could be estimated as 25.2 mgC m-2 h-1 and 2.6 mgN m-2 h-1. On the other hand, G. depressus egested fecal pellet at the rate of 5.4 mg ind-1 h-1. The average emittance flux through the fecal pellet egesting process is estimated at 5.6 mgC m-2 h-1 and 0.7 mgN m-2 h-1. Therefore, it can be estimated that about 25% of organic matter from diet is egested as fecal pellet, which means that about 75% of the intake flux of organic carbon and nitrogen is used for the total assimilation of G. depressus. Intake flux was also considered as affecting the high dynamism of primary producer consumption. The total population of G. depressus is estimated to consume about 18.4% of primary producer in average throughout the year. Therefore, the turnover time of primary producer by consumption of G. depressus was about five days.

An overview of the North Ecliptic Pole (NEP) deep multi-wavelength survey covering from X-ray to radio wavelengths is presented. The main science objective of this multi-wavelength project is to unveil the star-formation and AGN activities obscured by dust in the violent epoch of the Universe (z=0.5-2), when the star formation and black-hole evolution activities were much stronger than the present. The NEP deep survey with AKARI/IRC consists of two survey projects: shallow wide (8.2 sq. deg, NEP-Wide) and the deep one (0.6 sq. deg, NEP-Deep). The NEP-Deep provides us with a $15{\mu}m$ or $18{\mu}m$ selected sample of several thousands of galaxies, the largest sample ever made at these wavelengths. A continuous filter coverage at mid-IR wavelengths (7, 9, 11, 15, 18, and $24{\mu}m$) is unique and vital to diagnose the contribution from starbursts and AGNs in the galaxies at the violent epoch. The recent updates of the ancillary data are also provided: optical/near-IR magnitudes (Subaru, CFHT), X-ray (Chandra), FUV/NUV (GALEX), radio (WSRT, GMRT), optical spectra (Keck/DEIMOS etc.), Subaru/FMOS, Herschel/SPIRE, and JCMT/SCUBA-2.

The recent updates of the North Ecliptic Pole deep (0.5~deg$^2$, NEP-Deep)multi-wavelength survey covering from X-ray to radio-wave is presented. The NEP-Deep provides us with several thousands of 15~$\mu$m or 18~$\mu$mselected galaxies, which is the largest sample ever made at thesewavelengths. A continuous filter coverage in the mid-infrared wavelength(7, 9, 11, 15, 18, and 24~$\mu$m) is unique and vital to diagnose thecontributions from starbursts and AGNs in the galaxies out to $z$=2. The new goal of the project is to resolve the nature of the cosmic star formationhistory at the violent epoch (e.g. $z$=1--2), and to find a clue to understandits decline from $z$=1 to presentuniverse by utilizing the unique power of the multiwavelength survey. The progressin this context is briefly mentioned.

Determination of structure of integral membrane proteins, especially in their native environment, is a formidable challenge in structural biology. Here we demonstrate that magic angle spinning solid-state NMR spectroscopy can be used to determine structures of membrane proteins reconstituted in synthetic lipids, an environment similar to the natural membrane. We combined a large number of experimentally determined interatomic distances and local torsional restraints to solve the structure of an oligomeric membrane protein of common seven-helical fold, Anabaena sensory rhodopsin (ASR). We determined the atomic resolution detail of the oligomerization interface of the ASR trimer, and the arrangement of helices, side chains and the retinal cofactor in the monomer.
Could Acupuncture Be Useful in the Treatment of Temporomandibular Dysfunction?
Ca´ssia Maria Grillo,Giancarlo De la Torre Canales,Ronaldo Seichi Wada,Marcelo Correˆa Alves,Ce´lia Marisa Rizzatti Barbosa,Fausto Berzin,Maria da Luz Rosa´rio de Sousa 사단법인약침학회 2015 Journal of Acupuncture & Meridian Studies Vol.8 No.4
In this study, the effects of acupuncture in comparison with flat occlusal plane appliance were evaluated in patient with myogenic temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD). The sample consisted of 40 women with TMD and unbalanced energy predominance of Yang Liver Ascension, selected using the Renying and Cunkou pulses, randomly divided into two groups: acupuncture and splint. The effect of treatments on the masseter and anterior temporal muscles was evaluated after 4 weeks of treatment, by means of electromyographic activity (root mean square) and pain pressure threshold. Pain intensity was measured using the visual analog scale, and range of mouth opening was evaluated using a millimeter ruler. All evaluations were performed at the beginning and end of the treatment. Visual analog scale score was reduced equally in the two groups (p < 0001), and the increase in range of mouth opening was significant in both groups. A significant difference was detected only in pain pressure threshold of the left masseter in the acupuncture group (p < 0.05). Only root mean square in the at rest position of the right temporal muscle diminished in the final stage of the splint group (p < 0.05). Both treatments reduced the pain intensity of myogenic TMD in the short term and may be considered strategies for control of chronic pain related to TMD.

Hyun, H.,Henary, M.,Gao, T.,Narayana, L.,Owens, E. A.,Lee, J. H.,Park, G.,Wada, H.,Ashitate, Y.,Frangioni, J. V. Elsevier Science B.V., Amsterdam. 2016 Molecular imaging and biology Vol.18 No.1

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a family of 700-nm zwitterionic pentamethine indocyanine near-infrared fluorophores that would permit dual-channel image-guided surgery. Procedures: Three complementary synthetic schemes were used to produce novel zwitterionic chemical structures. Physicochemical, optical, biodistribution, and clearance properties were compared to Cy5.5, a conventional pentamethine indocyanine now used for biomedical imaging. Results: ZW700-1a, ZW700-1b, and ZW700-1c were synthesized, purified, and analyzed extensively in vitro and in vivo. All molecules had extinction coefficients >= 199,000 M-1 cm(-1), emission >= 660 nm, and stability >= 99 % after 24 h in warm serum. In mice, rats, and pigs, >= 80 % of the injected dose was completely eliminated from the body via renal clearance within 4 h. Either alone or conjugated to a tumor targeting ligand, ZW700-1a permitted dual-channel, high SBR, and simultaneous imaging with 800-nm NIR fluorophores using the FLARE (R) imaging system. Conclusions: Novel 700-nm zwitterionic NIR fluorophores enable dual-NIR image-guided surgery.

The AKARI NEP Deep Field Survey is an international multiwavelength survey over 0.4 deg$^2$ of the sky. This is the deepest survey made by the InfraRed Camera (IRC) of the infrared astronomical satellite AKARI with 9 filters continuously covering the 2-25 μm range, including three filters in the Spitzer gap between the IRAC and MIPS coverages. This enabled us to make sensitive MIR detection of AGN candidates at z ~ 1, based on hot dust emission in the AGN torus. It is also efficient in detecting highly obscured Compton-thick AGN population. In this article, we report the first results of X-ray observations on this field. The field was covered by 15 overlapping Chandra ACIS-I observations with a total exposure of ~ 300 ks, detecting $\approx 450$ X-ray sources. We utilize rest-frame stacking analysis of the MIR AGN candidates that are not detected individually. Our preliminary analysis shows a marginal detection of the rest-frame stacked Fe K$\alpha$ line from our strong Compton-thick candidates.
