        러시아 연해주 지역의 한인 주거에 관한 연구 : 문헌고찰과 현지 답사를 통한 1930년대 이전의 한인주거 분석 Focusing on Analysis of related documents and Interviewing in Yunhaju

        Koreans were started moving to Yunhaju in Russia for escaping from tyrannical rule and famine in 1860's in Korea. Social and political situation of Russia were made it very hard to get to know about Korean's life there so far. But it was known that Korean Diaspora has been kept traditional way of living in without contacts between Korea for 140 years. This study examined the dwellings of Korean Diaspora in Yungaju through reviewing related documents and records firstly and had a time to visit places which Koreans lived since 1860's for example Posyet(Пocebт), Suifen(CчЙφyн), Ussuriisk(YccyИЙcк), Vladivostok(Bпaдивосток), Partizansk(Партиэнск) and took interviews with Koreans who lived there pre 1930's. Results of research were as following : 1) A first place to settle down for Koreans in Yunhaju was Posyet(Посььт) and scattered as time goes by far away from there. 2) Koreans were helping each other for living and they had their own self managing organizations in village there. 3) The villages which was made in Yunhaju by Koreans in the beginning were similar to traditional ones in Korea. 4) It was verified that ddwellings which was built by Koreans in Yunhaju were similar to ones in north area in Korea. At that time lots of Korean Diaspora came from north part and they kept their own traditional way of building houses there for a long time. 5) Korean Diaspora have been kept traditional heating system 'Ondol' in their various types of houses until now in Yunhaju. Moreover, it is known that Russians prefer to set 'Ondol' in their houses recently as a very special and expensive heating system. This study would be a very good opportunity to standing out Korean history of housing in Yunhaju as well as evaluating their identification as Koreans. For this, it is needed to tade more deep research in specific areas which could see more various types of housing and could compare ones between two countries.

      • 제7차 교육과정에 따른 고등학교 과학교과서 생물단원 STS 내용 분석

        The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data of educational activities on the school scene, by finding the extent of agreement between the educational purposes of high school science textbooks by the 7th curriculum and those of science curriculum, and by dividing the contents of STS into the subject and activity area. In the study, the contents of STS were analyzed by e eight elements in STS course as Yager and student activities of SATIS. The results are as follows ; 1. The STS material are included average 20.8%, the highest 26.2%(textbook G) and the lowest 15.6% (textbook E) and the STS material are included 67.9% in the chapter of Biological concentration, 19.9% in Reproduction, 13.1% in metabolism, 9.9% in Stimulation and Reaction. 2. The contents of STS were analyzed by the STS standards presented by Yager(1984, 1989). The majority of the STS contents integrated 'application of science' and 'practice with decision - making strategies', 'social problem', relation of local communities', but didn't include evaluation concerned getting and using information. 3. The STS program suggested by SATE in the textbooks are mostly 'data analysis', 'practical work' and survey. But there is no case study. In STS material, 'application of science' were heavily concentrated while the activity category geared towards 'data analysis' and 'practical work', which leads to the conclusion that less diversity of STS contents and activity were included. 본 연구의 목적은 제7차 교육과정에 의한 고등학교 과학과 STS 내용의 교과서 분포상황을 분석하여 각 교과서가 교육과정의 교육목표에 얼마나 부합되었는지를 알아보고, 학교 현장에서의 교육활동에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 본 연구에서 STS 내용은 Yager(1984)가 제시한 8가지 요소와 SATIS program에 나타난 활동유형을 기준으로 분석하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 과학 교과서의 '생물'영역에서 STS 교육 내용의 포함률은 평균 20.9%로 최고 26.2%(교과서 G)에서 최저 15.6%(교과서 E)의 지면을 할애하고 있다. 그리고 중단원별 포함률은 생물농축 단원이 67.6%로 가장 높고, 생식 단원 19.9%, 물질대사 단원 13.1%, 자극과 반응 단원이 9.9%로 나타났다. 2. 과학 교과서 '생물'영역에 포함된 STS 내용 포함 횟수는 평균 24.7회로 최고 31회에서 최저 15회로 나타났는데, 과학의 응용성에 관한 것이 가장 많았고, 실제 문제의 협동작업, 사회적 문제, 지역사회와의 관련성, 과학과 관련된 직업 선택, 과학의 다면성, 의사결정 함양 능력 순으로 나타나며, 정보의 선택 및 이용에 관한 내용은 거의 다루어지지 않았다. 3. 과학 교과서 '생물'영역의 STS 내용을 SATIS 활동 영역에 따라 분석한 결과 평균 38회로, 최고 46회에서 최저 30회인데 자료 분석이 가장 많았고, 실제 활동(실험), 조사 활동, 구조화된 토론, 역할놀이 및 모의실험, 문제 해결 및 의사 결정과 연구 설계 순으로 나타났고, 사례 연구는 한번도 제시되지 않았다.

        2007년 개정 교육과정 중학교 기술・가정 교과서 주생활영역의 교육내용 분석

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of housing area in Technology·Home Economics textbooks of the 2007 revised curriculum which was published in 2011. The structure and the contents of housing area which are consisted of housing/living environment and use of housing space were analyzed. This study aims to examine the changes in the newly revised textbooks as well as suggesting advice for the more improved revised one in the future. For this purpose, this study employed 11 different textbooks and the results were the followings: each textbook had different quantity of pages dedicated to housing area but commonly had the wide range of terminology, plentiful amount of tables/diagrams, reading and activity materials sufficient to have students to carry out in practice. Also, the newly added contents of local area and eco-friendly life are analyzed to be well reflecting the 2007 revised curriculum. In future textbook development, it will be important that the issue of low birth rate, population ageing and green-life to be included as well as emphasizing the content of the network within the local area in order to actively prepare for the environmental issues. 이 연구의 목적은 2007년 개정 교육과정 중학교 기술·가정 교과서 주생활 영역의 교육내용을 분석하여 차기 기술·가정 교과서 개발 및 교사의 교육내용 재구성 시 기초자료로 제공하고자 하였다. 분석대상은 2011년 적용된 중학교 2학년 기술·가정 교과서 11종 전부를 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과, 주생활 영역은 교과서마다 분량의 차이가 있었으나 각 단원별 용어, 표/그림, 읽기자료, 활동자료 등이 풍부하여 실천 문제 중심의 수업에 도움을 주는 것으로 파악되었으며 새롭게 추가된 근린환경과 친환경적 주생활 등은 2007년 개정 교육과정의 내용을 잘 반영하고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 앞으로의 교과서 개발에는 중요한 현안인 저출산, 고령화와 녹색생활의 관점이 반영되어야 할 것이며 지역사회와의 긴밀한 네트워크로 환경 문제에 적극적으로 대처할 수 있는 교육 내용이 강조될 필요가 있다.

        서울 지역 아파트 욕실평면의 변천 - 강남 지역을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for a desirable bathroom planning of apartments. This study explores the changes of the bathroom planning and analyzes the bathroom plans of the existing apartments. The collected data are 197 cases of the bathroom plans of the apartments (area:10-69 pyung) constructed in Kangnam Gu. Seoul between 1973-1993. where 47.624 households live. This study consists of an overview on the changes of the bathroom planning by the decade and findings on the bathrooms and dressing rooms of the present apartments. The numbers, location, size and proportion of the bathroom and dressing room and the direction of the bathroom door are examined in turn. For the better planning of the bathroom. factors like family size, life cycle, and manner of bathroom use should be analyzed in the future studies. The analysis of the bathroom plans of the apartments in the entire city of Seoul maybe a prerequisite to them.

      • 韓國人을 위한 단독주택 浴室空間에 關한 硏究 : 단독주택 居住者의 入浴方法을 中心으로 mainly the bathing custom of a detached house residents

        The purpose of this study was to provide a basic data for a desirable bathroom planning which adequate to housing life style of detached house. The instrument was a questionnaire and the subject of investigation was the residents of the detached house in Seoul. The major findings of this study could be summarized as follows : 1.The bathroom conditions ① The area of bathroom ranged from 1 pyong to above 2.6 pyong. The general type of bathroom was one bath unit, and the degree of satisfaction of bathroom was not high. Most of residents wanted divide toilet stool from bathroom. ② A lot of residents were using bathtub as water tank, and the degree of need of shower and bat stub was relatively high. ③ The furnishings of bathroom were tools for bathing(washbowl, dipper, washing stool), tools for laundering, and tools for cleaning. ④ Most of residents were using the bathroom in an hour (6 : 31∼7 : 30 a.m) frequently. ⑤ During shower and bathing, 90% of residents took off and put their clothes in the bath room. 66% of residents wanted to have a dressing room. ⑥ 86% of residents were using the public bath and having a bath once a week in a public bath. 2.The manner of bathroom use ① 61.0% of residents washed the face on washstand. The frequency of washing the face averaged twice a day. ② 56.0% of residents were using washbowl to rinsing the hair and the frequency of rinsing the hair averaged twice a week. ③ The residents bathed outside of bath tub and used bath tub as a water tank. 3.Referance factors in manner of bathroom use. 1) age, sex Age was influenced on the method of washing the face, and rinsing the chair. Sex was not influenced on the method of washing the face, rinsing the hair, and bathing. 2) heating system Heating system of house was influenced on the method of bathing.

        레비나스의 환대 개념을 중심으로「유산」의 길버트 클랜든과 「죽은 사람들」의 가브리엘 콘로이 비교

        In this article I compared Gilbert Clandon in “The Legacy” with Gabriel Conroy in “The Dead” by means of Levinas’ concept of hospitality. Unlike the mainstream western philosophy which emphasizes on self and subjectivity, Levinas emphasizes other, other-ness, and hospitality for others, which provides an important framework for analyzing the limitations of those two characters and for the way of their escaping from those. The self-centeredness that they shared in common reveals that they stay in the stage of enjoyment, in which they are not able to truly communicate with the others around them. The ending of “The Legacy” focuses on Gilbert’s epiphany where he finds the truth about himself. Meanwhile the ending of “The Dead” focuses on Gabriel’s changed attitude after the epiphany where he faced with his real self. Gabriel shows the possibility that he can truly understand, care for, and treat hospitably the other. 본 논문은 레비나스의 환대 개념을 중심으로 「유산」의 길버트와 「죽은 사람들」의 가 브리엘을 비교 분석하였다. 자아와 주체, 그리고 주체성 중심의 주류 서구 철학과는 달리, 타 자, 타자성, 타자에 대한 환대를 강조하는 레비나스 철학은 두 인물이 공통적으로 드러내는 자아도취적 자기중심성을 극복할 수 있는 대안을 제시한다. 레비나스의 용어로 이들의 자기 중심적 면모를 재해석하면, 이들은 주체의 삶을 즐기는 향유에서 벗어나지 못한 채 자아의 좁은 영역에 갇혀 아내를 비롯하여 누구와도 소통하지 못하는 불행한 상태에 놓여 있다고 할 수 있다. 이들이 여기서 벗어나 타자와 진정한 소통을 하기 위해서는 환대로 나아가야하며, 먼저 자신의 모습을 제대로 인식하는 에피파니의 경험이 필요하다. 단편「유산」은 길버트가 아내의 유산인 일기장을 통해 자신에게 투사했던 온갖 긍정적 이미지가 허위였음을 깨닫는 에피파니 장면을 결말로 구성함으로써 극적 효과를 부각시킨다. 중편「죽은 사람들」은 가브 리엘이 아내의 속내를 알게 된 후 거울을 통해 자신의 본 모습을 정면으로 마주하는 에피파니 를 통해, 의식의 변화를 겪은 그가 타자를 환대하는 첫 걸음을 내딛는 모습까지를 포착한다.

        『젊은 예술가의 초상』과 『소설가 구보씨의 일일』에서 활용된 의식의 흐름 기법 비교

        The stream of consciousness technique focuses on the inner side of the character and emphasizes on one’s subjective viewpoint which makes it possible to preserve autonomy and independence against the overwhelming and authoritative social forces. In this respect, James Joyce’s A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and Park Taewan’s A Day of a Novelist Mr. Gubo have many common aspects to analyze. To begin with, both texts set a writer-oriented person as the main character: Stephen who will grow into a writer, and Gubo who is a writer. In addition, the stream of consciousness technique plays an essential role for Stephen or Gubo to reveal their subjective inner thoughts in opposition to the external authority of various levels. In this process, Stephen or Gubo unfold their thoughts on the nature of literature by means of showing the creating processes of their texts. In other words, they show the process of converting their own experiences into their creative literature texts. Also, the innovative narrative methods, stylistic innovations, and language experiments in both texts emphasize the modernistic literary perspective of the two main characters. Stephen, who overcame British imperialism, Catholic religious oppression, and family obstacles, achieved his literary autonomy, proudly declaring that “I go to encounter for the millionth time the reality of experience and to forge in the smithy of my soul the uncreated conscience of my race” (275-76). Gubo also firmly makes up his mind “to write a really good novel” (157) after having realized that the most important thing in his life is creating a novel. In spite of the weakness that all the characters except the main character in both texts are given a secondary position, Joyce and Park created their own splendid modernistic text focusing on the subjective inner consciousness of the main character by means of the stream of consciousness technique.

        글쓰기의 형상화와 예술관 드러내기: 제임스 조이스의 『젊은 예술가의 초상』과 박태원의 「적멸」 비교

        This article compared “Nirvana” (Jeok Myeol) by Park Taewon with the last chapter of A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce, focusing on the embodiment of writing and the manifestation of the artistic point of view within the text. James Joyce inserted ‘the creational process of literary writing’ into A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man through a detailed description about Stephen’s writing of a villanelle. Furthermore, the last chapter without any special plot unfolds the literary theory of Stephen who finally recognizes his identity as an artist (or a writer). In the chapter, through his conversation with several other characters such as Davin, Stanley, and Lynch Joyce also effectively reveals Stephen’s artistic autonomy against the narrow minded Irish nationalism, Catholic religion, and the family system. Similarly Park Taewon’s “Nirvana” is ‘a novel about writing a novel’ because it sets up a novelist as its main character and constitutes the story from the process of his writing of a novel. And the novelist’s conversation with a fictional character who can be interpreted as another self of the novelist shows Park Taewon’s attempt to overcome the realistic constraints of Japanese imperialism by embracing the unconscious areas of human beings. Like this, the two writers, in common, inserted their struggle to solve the questions such as “What is the nature of literature?” and “What does it mean to write a novel?” into their own text.

        The Theme of “Home-coming” in Ulysses and One Day of a Novelist, Mr. Gubo

        The starting place of James Joyce’s Ulysses and Pak Tae-won’s One Day of a Novelist, Mr. Gubo is the same: the main character’s home. The principal events of the two texts are also indistinguishable: leaving home, wandering streets of the colonial metropolitan city, and returning home. This article scrutinized the diverse denotations regarding the common theme of “homecoming” in the two texts: the ambivalent meanings of “home,” the equivocal implications of main character’s wandering in the streets, and the various significances of home-coming in the two texts. As the starting places of the two texts, their home has positive as well as negative meanings. First, both men’s home is not only represented as the primordial place for satisfying their intrinsic desires but also it is the place for the most special two women: Bloom’s wife Molly and Gubo’s mother. However, their home triggers psychological pressure for Bloom and Gubo, who want absolute freedom as an independent individual. Meanwhile, two main character’s prowling in the streets of modernistic colonial city Dublin or Gyeongseong had equivocal denotations, too. Both men feel not only a sense of freedom to pursue an adventure there and to observe continuously ensuing things of the streets, but also a sense of alienation as an outsider in the society. Ultimately, Bloom or Gubo returned to each one’s home, which indicates that two men would make efforts to be reconciled with each one’s partner even though there are significant obstacles such as Molly’s infidelity or the conflicting outlook on life of Gubo’s mother. However, because of one day time setting of the two texts, the main character’s reconciliation with their partner can be not a fixed but a temporary one. Also, the theme of homecoming emphasizes on the importance of the everydayness in the modern world.
