This study deals with the Transmission Error of gear tooth profile by modifying a Profile and lead of a surface of Tooth. First, we experimentally confirmed that the Transmisson Error is a synthesis of the sliding Velocity between both gears. Since various types of Transmission errors appear in the experiments, we introduced definition of Transmission Error and The Optimism Design by modifying a surface parameters The test stand"s performance is then evaluated through a series of multiple torque transmission error tests. Comparisons are made between data recorded before and after the test stand"s redesign, and subsequently repeatability studies are performed to verify the veracity of the measured data. Finally, the experimental results are compared to the analytical predictions of two different gear analysis programs.

We prepared SiO₂-Na₂O-R_mO_n thin films based on economics of water glass and investigated optical. mechanical properties of product thin films. Coating sol stabilized with 1 N HCl and 1 N NH₄OH, was fabricated by using water glass and calcium nitrate, and aluminum nitrate as starting materials. As-coated films on stainless steel. Si wafer and soda-lime-silica glass by spinning were finally annealed at 500. 750 and 900℃. Micro hardness and nitrogen content in film surface of annealed films were measured by Knoop hardness tester and EDX, respectively. Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope ( FE-SEM) and UV-VIS spectroscopy were adopted to analyze surface morphology and thickness and reflectance of our films.

Since 2000 FMD (Foot and Mouth Disease) has occurred five times in Korea. It happened at March 2000, May 2002, Jan. 2010, April 2010, and Nov. 2010. Particularly the FMD outbreak of Nov. 2010 inflicted a big economic loss on Korean livestock farms and the related agribusinesses. About 151 thousand heads of cattle accounted for 4.5% of total in 2010, and 3 million and 318 thousand heads of hog accounted for 33.6% of total in the same year were buried in the ground. The latest big FMD incurred a direct economic loss of 3 trillion and 176 billion Korean Won(about 2.6 billion dollars) and brought a indirect economic loss of 4 trillion and 147 billion Korean Won (about 3.4 billion dollars). The suggestions for the policy improvement to handle the problems related to the prevention of FMD are as follows. First, we need to introduce a new vaccination system. It is an appropriate way to establish the FMD vaccination center. Second, we should designate beforehand the burial land for infected livestock and try to adopt other proper measures such as rendering, destruction by fire, and chemical treatments. Third, we should create high value not in the large size but in the optimal size to convert a sustainable livestock system. Fourth, we should make elaborate rehabilitation programs to return the original condition for the suffered livestock farmers.

Hazard and operability (HAZOP) analysis is one of the safety analysis method that is used in the chemical complex, because it can systematically identify causes and consequences of all the deviation that could occur. Since this method needs to hire specialized experts, it is costly and time-consuming. Therefore HAZOP Expert System has been developed to automate this analysis. This approach introduced object-oriented method and knowledge representation which is hierarchical tree of units to supply flexibility in the system, functional semantic network, propagation equation and rule-chaining method to set up the expert system for automating HAZOP analysis.
