PISV System for Improve the effiency of Secondary Side District Heating System

This study aims to improve the efficiency of district heating secondary customers" facilities, and replaces the Pressure Differential Control Valve (PDCV), which is widely used in the past, with a Pressure Independent Smart Valve (PISV). When doing so, I want to show the difference in the control method and its effect according to the situation of each load. The existing PDCV is used in the district heating secondary side equipment system to respond to the load by setting a specific differential pressure to always maintain a constant differential pressure against changes in the load. By calculating the optimal differential pressure value corresponding thereto according to the situation, the power of the heating circulation pump according to the excessive differential pressure value of the pipe and the resulting loss of heating are minimized. The use of each household is summed by a remote server, and the sum of the total load is set by piping system analysis so that the total balance is optimally balanced with the PISV pressure installed in each rising pipe. The head of the heating circulation pump is calculated by summing the pressure loss of the pipe and the main pipe.

This study was conducted to estimate the humificating grade according to experiment of physico-chemical characterization and phyto-toxicity during composting of using with pig manure and castor meal. The material ratios of the compost which was mixed with pig manure(P), castor meal(C), and saw dust(S) were 5 : 1 : 4(PCS-Ⅰ), 5 : 2.5 : 2.5(PCS-Ⅱ) and 5 : 4 : 1(PCS-Ⅲ) by volume to volume, and they were decomposed for 60 days. In the result, the changes of temperature in all treatments during composting were rapidly increased more than 68℃ at the incipient stage, and gradually decreased within 39℃ at 60 days the after treatment. pH was slowly increased from 7.5 to 7.7, and the C/N ratio was 13~14 at the final composting stage. The low C/N ratio value in this compost was caused by the castor meal contented high nitrogen level(T-N 5.7 %). G.I.(germination index) was showed 73 to 78 range in all treatments at the 60<SUP>th</SUP> day. Among all treatments PCS-Ⅰ was appeared to be the best condition for composting.

N/A Microstructure and mechanical properties of (Ti_(1-x),Al_(x))N films, produced by the the Ion Beam Sputtering(lBS) method, were studied by changing the Ti, Al contents. The compositions of films determined by RBS were (Ti_(0.75)AI_0.25))N, (Ti_(0.61)AI_(0.39))N and (Ti_(0.5)AI_(0.5))N, and XPS binding energies of Ti2p, A12p and Nls shifted to higher energies than those of pure Ti, Al and N, which indicated that nitrides were formed. XRD results indicated that the NaCl structure for x≤0.39 changed into amorphous structure at x=0.5. For films with x≤0.39, the lattice parameter decreased in proportion to the Al content. Nanoindentation hardness value were above HV=3300 at Al content up to x=0.39. However, the hardness of films with x=0.5 abruptly decreased to HV=1800, and this lower hardness values were attributed to different crystal structure. Critical load(Lc) in scratch test showed 23N at x=0.25, 22N at x= 0.39 and 22N at x=0.5, which indicated that films with different Al contents showed similar adhesion behavior.

The 2<SUP>nd</SUP> generation hybrid desiccant air conditioner is a low temperature (60 ~ 90 °C) heat driving, eco-friendly cooling technology. Conventional desiccant cooling technology needs duct work because it supplies cooled air to indoor through duct. However, cascade desiccant cooling technology differs from conventional desiccant cooling systems in that the condenser of the air conditioner is cooled by the air discharged from the desiccant cooling system. In this study, 2nd generation hybrid desiccant air conditioner was developed and 9.2kW prototypes(electrical COP 5.5, thermal COP 1.7) were installed in residential houses in Gyeonggi-do. The home multi air conditioner was additionally installed to compare the cooling performance and energy efficiency under the same weather conditions. Field test were conducted from July 2021 to September 2021.

In this paper, the demonstration experiment for adsorption system using LOW Temp Heat Source is experimentally studied. In order to use wasted low temp heat source, adsorption system is designed. In addition, the system uses water as a refrigerant, which is more environmentally friendly and simpler in structure than other refrigeration systems.A 35kW class system is designed and made in the present study. According to the results of the cooling demonstration test, it can be confirmed that the system can be used in an actual environment.
