Ultra Precision centerless grinder the ferrules determine the transmission efficiency of the information. They are precision component which high precision is desired. We are using a ZrO₂ to the material of the ferrule. Consequently the processing of goods depend wholly on a grinding task. Especially a grinding processing justice is most important to making the quality. The precision to be desired at an out-diameter processing of the ferrules are greater a part sub-micron. Strict precision have been desired especially in a roundness, surface-roughness, cylindricity management of matters. Such precision depends on the characteristic of a processing mechanism. We depend greatly on the precision and stiffness of a grinding spindle. We can be satisfied a ferrule requirement precision in this paper. Ultra Precision centerless grinder A stiffness rotation accuracy of the spindle accomplished a vibration characteristic assessment.

Recently, the evolution in production techniques (e.g. high-speed milling) and the complex shapes involved in modern production design has been increasingly popular. The key to the achievement is a drastic improvement of the dynamic behavior of the machine tool axes used in production machinery. The more complex these tool paths the higher the speed and acceleration requirements. But it is very difficult to reach the target for high speed machine tool because of the limitations of servo system and motion control system. However the direct drive design of machine tool axes, which is based on linear motors and which recently appeared on the market, is a viable candidate to meet the ever increasing demands, because of these advantages such as no backlash, less friction, more mechanical simplicity and very higher acceleration and velocity comparing to the traditional system. This paper focused on the performance tests of the high speed horizontal machine tool based on linear motor. Especially, dynamic characteristics were investigated through circular test and circular form machining test is carried out considering many important parameter. Therefore these several experiments is used to be evaluated the model for prediction of circular motion error and circular machined error.

The oxidation of diphenylmethane by oxygen was carried out in a liquid-liquid heterogeneous system with benzene solution of tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate as a phase transfer catalyst and aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide as a base using a stirred absorber at 25℃ and an atmospheric pressure. The equilibrium constants, K₁, K₂, K₃, between the intermediates of catalyst, base, and reactant were obtained from equilibrium experiment, and their values, 2.01×10 ^(-6) ㏖/ℓ, 2.5×10⁴ℓ/㏖ and 3.0 ㏖/ℓ, respectively. The reaction rate constants of oxidation of diphenylmethane with oxygen was obtained from the experimental enhancement factor of initial rate of oxygen absorption, and its value 1.01 ℓ/㏖ s. The reaction mechanism by the phase transfer catalyst at the interface of the gas-liquid-liquid heterogeneous system was analyzed by mass transfer mechanism with chemical reaction using the film theory.
