      • 도로 기상 빅데이터 유형별 활용 전략: 국내외 사례 분석

        낮은 시정, 강우, 강풍, 고온 등 기상 상태는 운전 능력, 차량 성능(예: 마찰, 안정성, 조작력), 노면 마찰력, 도로 인프라, 추돌 위험, 교통 흐름 및 도로 관리자 생산성 등에 영향을 미친다. 최근에는 CCTV, 도로 센서, 차량 센서 등 다양한 도로 기상 빅데이터 소스들이 개발되면서 이러한 기상 관련 문제들 해결에 적용되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 도로 기상 빅데이터 소스들의 유형과 특징을 정의하고 국내외 실증 사례들을 통해 도로 기상 빅데이터 유형별로 관련 문제들 해결에 활용하는 전략에 대해 제시하고자 한다. Weather acts through low visibility, precipitation, high winds, and temperature extremes to affect driver capabilities, vehicle performance (i.e., traction, stability and maneuverability), pavement friction, roadway infrastructure, crash risk, traffic flow, and agency productivity. Recently a variety of road weather big data sources such as CCTV, road sensor/systems, car sensor have been developed to solve the weather-related problems, This study identifies and defines the types and characteristics of these sources to suggest how to utilize them for car safety and efficiency as well as road management through analyzing domestic and oversea cases of road weather big data applications.

        새로운 IT 서비스 모델, 클라우드 비즈니스 모델

        Cloud computing, which means a new way of deploying information technology(IT) in organizations as a service and charging per use, has a deep impact on organizations’ IT accessibility, agility and efficiency of its usage. More than that, the emergence of cloud computing surpasses a mere technological innovation, making business model innovation possible. We call this innovation realized by could computing a cloud business model. This study develops a comprehensive framework of business model, first, and then defines and analyzes the cloud business model through this framework. This study also examines the case of M-Pesa mobile payment as a cloud business model in which a new value creation and profit realization schemes have been realized and industry value network has changed. Finally, this study discusses the business implications from this new business model.

        Increasing number of corporations applies IT service management systems to optimize IT service delivery and support processes. For this reason, implementation experiences and effect of IT service management system are growing concerns for IT managers and researchers. This case study analyzes implementation experiences on an ITIL based service management systems in an medium sized corporation. The exploratory case analysis revealed that systems and service quality were improved from the implementation. This study will contribute to the successful implementation of IT service management system and developing a research model of IT service management process.

        Co-word 분석법을 통한 디지털금융 연구의 프레임워크 도출

        The evolution of information and communication technology is continued, and, financial services are becoming more dependent on digitalized information and tools. Simply speaking, digital finance refers to developing and delivering financial services digitally. However, the research scope of digital finance is still at a young age. This empirical research demonstrates the effectiveness of content analysis to map the research literature of the digital finance to identify the boundaries of digital finance research. Co-word analysis is the specific technique used. This methodology identifies associations among publication descriptors (indexing terms) from the Social Sciences Citation Index(SSCI) and produces networks of descriptors that reveal these underlying patterns. The results suggest six research themes in digital finance as new technologies emerge and customers’ experience on digital financial services grow.

        Over the past couple of years, the procurement management function has become the core part of the e-Government activites in Korea. The Korean government initiated the e-Govermment projects to provide a better service thorough more efficient givernment administration. One of the core e-government project was an e-procurement service using the government e-procurement system. The e-procurenment service project has been so successful that the Korean Public Procurement Service (PPS) was awarded UN Public Service Award in 2003. It is expected that Korean government agencies will save large amount of money by implementing the e-procurement systems for public purchases. This paper provides a case study of the Korean Public Procurement Service’s e-procurement service. The case study is based on Information strategic planning for the Korean government’s e-procurement service project, and includes definition of government e-procurement service, in-depth analysis on government procurement service and processes, identification of procurement-related organizations, the Korean government’s e-procurenment vision/strategy, and the expected benefits from the government e-procurement service project.

      • 사이버 금융의 전략적 대안 모델

        Using the Web to reduce execution/service costs and reach customers broadly opens the gates for cyber finance. Cyber Finance, defined as producing, managing, and delivering electronic financial service or product, has been in widespread use for decade. For instance, electronic fund transfer has featured cyber finance for many years. In this paper we present a framework to analyze the strategies of cyber finance. Four strategic choices are identified. First, comprehensive producers are operating vertical portal and providing customers with their own products. They are global in nature. Their focus is on brand and provides a whole package of financial products. They are more like on-line universal bankers. Second, total solution providers emphasize customer values. They are customer-centric in nature. E-alliance is their major weapon to create customer values. Third, specialty manufacturers produce best-in-breed products. They posse low-cost, well-recognized, brand-name products. Sometimes they are marketing financial services with non-financial companies. Fourth, infrastructure providers help new and established companies develop the architecture and tools required to create and maintain web products and services. Application service providers(ASP) are included in infrastructure providers as they covey cyber finance solutions for Internet business.

        Deregulation and globalization have thrown open the competitive gates of financial services industry in Korea. Intemet is becoming critical as a delivery channel and workflow engine supporting seamless exchanges between financial services companies and customers. Accordingly, the dependency of financial services industry on information technology continues to grow. It is argued that the functions of financial services institution can be defined as resource collection and distribution, payment service, and risk management. These functions are in the process of becoming more efficient, differentiated, and specialized as the advance in information technology development in financial services industry progresses. We insist that the two dimensions of information technology development streamline the value chain of the financial service institution's functions. These two dimensions are the level of each function's value chain integration and the level of decision-making support in the value chain. The level of the integration of value chain activities evolves through the stages of information sharing, processes automation, and knowledge networking. Also the level of decision-making support evolves through the stages of information support, modeling support, and knowledge support.

        국내 금융기관의 위험관리시스템 도입에 영향을 미치는 요인 : ALM시스템을 중심으로 The Case of ALM Systems

        The process of implementing risk management systems for the organizations in financial service industry can be viewed as a diffusion of innovation since the introduction of the risk management systems changes the decision making process on risks faced by the organizations. The purpose of the reported research is to examine the factors that affect the successful implementation of ALM(asset & liability management) systems, the risk management systems managing interest rate risk. Specifically, this paper presents an investigation of three factors from the diffusion of innovation studies: internal factors, external factors, and time. A field survey was conducted for Korean banks that have implemented AML systems. The results suggest that the perceived uncertainty of market, system supports, and management supports be most significantly related to the successful implementation of the risk management systems. The findings of the current study also suggest a certain amount of time should be passed to diffuse the risk management systems in organizations.
