        한국의 장애개념체계: 문헌비평적 기반연구

        The purposes of the present study is to determine the original meaning of JANGAE (meaning disorder, impairment, disability, handicap, and etc. in Korean) and to investigate the origin of that word. In the study, related literatures were reviewed critically. The sources of JANJIL, PHEJIL, and DOKJIL used in pre-modern times in Korea and their meaning is reconsidered, respectively. In the legal documents (including laws and regulations) of modern times (referring to the colonial times by imperialised Japanese and U.S. Arm-governed times), the terms of BULGU, PHEJIL, JANGAE, and JANGHYE were found and their origin and courses of changes were examined. Also, the definitions of the terms used in classifications of World Health Organization (WHO), that is disorder, impairment, disability, handicap, and the others, were examined and compared to those of academic literatures written in english. In addition, the social being and living statues of the peoples with disabilities in pre-modern times were compared to those of modern and recent times. The conclusions is two-fold: First, the term JANGAE (including JANGHYE) is the result of introduction of western (including Japanes) cultures to Korea. Second, as the results of the new term, the being and living statues of the peoples with disabilities were changed (i.e. separated from society and institutionalized). The study suggest that the alternatives of present terms should be presented and examined and that the extensive researches on the social inclusion of peoples with disabilities are required. The further studies of the present studies is in need, too.

        한국특수교육법의 감각장애와 신체장애 용어와 정의에 대한 비판적 고찰

        연구목적: 이 연구는 감각장애(시각장애, 청각장애)와 신체장애(지체장애, 건강장애)의 용어와 정의의 적절성을 평가하여 문제점을 찾아내고 그 대안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이 연구는 문헌연구다. 문헌의 내용은 한국, 미국, 일본의 선정기준 관련 법률 규정을 중심으로 삼고 전통 한국사회의 기록(조선왕조실록, 경국대전 등), 관련 국내외 문헌, 특수교육대상자수 통계에 대한 정부통계 등이다. 필요한 경우 자전도 참고하였다. 한국특수교육법의 용어와 기준에 대한 논의의 기본 방향은 우리 기준을 미국, 일본의 것과 비교하는 것이고, 이를 통해 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 연구결과: 첫째, 전래의 용어(맹, 농, 아 등)가 일본과 미국의 영향을 받아 시각장애, 청각장애, 지체장애, 건강장애로 바뀌었다. 둘째, 시각장애와 청각장애 모두 선정의 기준에 정량적 수치가 제시되지 않았다. 법률적 정의보다 교육적 정의가 채택된 것이다. 종전과도 크게 다르고, 미국이나 일본과도 크게 다르다. 셋째, 지체장애와 건강장애의 선정 기준은 뜻풀이(내포)만 있을 뿐 범위(외연)가 언급되지 않았다. 미국이나 일본과 크게 다르다. 결론: 시각장애와 청각장애는 객관적 정의가 가능하기에 시력의 정도와 청력손실의 정도를 각각 선정 기준에 명시해야 한다. 미국과 일본의 기준을 참고할 필요가 있다. 지체장애의 선정 기준은 현실에 맞게 용어를 고치거나 기준의 내용을 고쳐야 한다. 범위를 특정할 필요도 있다. 건강장애의 선정 기준에서 만성질환의 지속기간에 관한 규정은 재검토되어야 한다. 지체장애와 건강장애의 범위 역시 일정 부분 특정할 필요가 있다. 미국의 기준이 참고자료가 될 수 있다. 이 장애 넷의 선정을 위한 진단·평가에 사용하는 도구도 전면 재검토되어야 하고 의사진단서를 첨부하도록 해야 한다. Purpose: This study is aimed at examining the adequacy of disability terms, including visual impairment, hearing impairment, limb & body impairment, and health impairment, and their definitions, and to present alternatives. Method: To achieve this goal, literature, such as Korean historical documents, the Korean Special Education Law (SEL), the Japanese School Education Law (JSEL), and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and their regulations, books, journal articles, and others, were studied. The disability terms and their definitions in the SEL were compared to those in the IDEA and the JSEL. Korean studies on the terms have also been added. Results: First, the terms traditionally used to refer to sensory and physical disabilities in Korea were changed to visual, hearing, and health impairment, except for limb and body impairment. Second, the definition of both visual and hearing impairment in the SEL is substantially different from those of the IDEA and the JSEL. Third, in the definition of limb & body and health impairment, the extension of the terms is not included. Fourth, all definitions of the four disabilities do not include measurable indicators. Conclusion: For the current definition to become a more objective criterion, the problems inherent in all definitions of the four disabilities should be solved, especially by specifying the degree of severity and/or duration of disability. Furthermore, the measures listed in the regulations should be totally reviewed.

        한국어판 산후 유대감 측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도

        Purpose: We evaluated the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the Postpartum Bonding Questionnaire (K-PBQ) among Korean parents with children under 12 months of age. Methods: The K-PBQ was translated considering Korean cultural validity through translation, back-translation, and expert panel review. Construct validity was tested by conducting both exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with data from 308 couples (N=616). Convergent and discriminant validity were performed using correlations between the K-PBQ and instruments measuring the concepts of attachment, postnatal depression, and dyadic adjustment. The reliability of the K-PBQ was calculated using Cronbach’s α coefficients. Results: EFA revealed that the 25-item K-PBQ was composed of two factors: impaired bonding (17 items) and the burden of infant care (8 items). The results of the final model fit were acceptable. Known-group validity showed that the K-PBQ score of the postnatal depressed group was significantly higher than that of the non-depressed group. The Cronbach’s α of the K-PBQ was .95. Conclusion: The K-PBQ was verified as a valid and reliable scale to measure postpartum bonding among parents with children under 12 months of age in Korea. It may contribute to facilitating further research on parent-infant bonding.

By identifying the problems of photographic industry, this mobile application can the growth of photographic industry and satisfaction of customer.

        2007 특수교육법의 쟁점과 과제

        The year of 2007 is a meaningful year in the history of special education in Korea. The Special Education Promotion Law that had been a foundation of the development of special education for the past three decades since its legislation in 1977 was changed into the Special Education Law of Individuals with Disabilitiesand the Like (Special Education Law) in May, 2007. The Special Education Support Act for Individuals with Disabilities, the bill by the National Assembly based on the Consumerism for people with disability and the total revision bill of the Special Education Promotion Law by government wereproposed, respectively. The Special Education Law has been enacted as the alternative bill given by the Committee on Education. The promulgation of the Special Education Law leads to a huge confusion on the system of Korean special education because of the contents including specifically the elimination of the remedial education, the abolition of the department of remedial education, and the extension of notification of the 2007 Special School Curriculum.Especially, conflicts between related groups and the government concerning the follow-up measures of remedial education without interim measures and the demands for having a voice in legislation of enforcement ordinance has caused the confusion of the special education fields. Thus, for the proper enforcement of Special Education Law in 2007, there are needs to readjust the products of the previous studies on the special education-related laws in Korea for the purpose of presenting the establishment plan of subordinate regulations, that is enforcement ordinance and enforcement regulation. The purpose of the present study is to present the plan to enforce effectively the overall revised regulations of the Special Education Law in 2007 on the basis of the results from all-around investigation into the related studies of the domestic special education-related laws. This study has investigated and examined the tendency of arguments and the history in the domestic special education laws during recent 20 years. On the basis of these analysis, the study found six main issues; the law title, the compulsory education, students having special needs, remedial education, individualized education, and special education teachers. Then, the study compared the details of the above six issues before and after the revision and presented the direction of revision and the concentration of argument.
