In manufacturing the solar cell with high efficiency crystalline structure, forming the emitter layer by phosphorous doping is one of the critical factors to determine the efficiency of solar cell. Forming the layer of emitter doped with a lower impurity concentration makes the spectral response improvement in the short wavelength region and increases the amount of short circuit current. However shallow emitter requires various material and process optimizations such as the contact resistance reduction, junction leakage prevention and metal contact firing profile. This paper reports our efforts directed to minimize the contact resistance by optimizing emitter uniformity, front Ag metal contact on a shallow emitter layer for the high efficiency solar cells. Using Cz p-type Si wafer with 125㎜ by 125㎜ area, we fabricated shallow emitter with the sheet resistance of 60-100ohm/square by changing temperature and gas ratio of N2,O2, POCl3 in batch type furnace. We varied the belt speed of metal firing furnace and the number of screen printed metal fingers. The contact resistance was measured by using contact resistance mapping instrument. We observed that the amount of current density was improved more than 1mA/cm2 in comparison to the reference cells with sheet resistance of 40-60ohm/square.
본태성 고혈압 및 동맥경화성 질환에서의 Prostacyclin 과 Thromboxane A₂ 혈장농도에 대한 고찰

N/A The concentrations of the metabolites of prostacyclin and thromboxane A₂ (6-keto-PGF1α and 11-dehydro-TxB2) were measured in essential hypertension and artherosclerotic disease, and the concentrations of metabolites were compared after administration of 100 mg/日, 300 mg/日 and 900 mg/ 日of aspirin. The findings were as follows: 1) The concentrations of 6-keto-PGF1α and 11-dehydro-TxB₂ were significantly higher in the essential hypertension group and artherosclerotic disease group than in the control group (p<0.001). 2) The concentrations of 6-keto-PGF1α and 11-dehydro-TxB₂ were higher in the high cholesterol group (p<0.01, p<0.05, respectively). 3) With aspirin administration, the concenatrations of 6-keto-PGF1α and 11-dehydro-TxB₂ were significantly reduced (about 70% was reduced seven days after administration of aspirin). 4) There were no significant differences in reducing the concentrations of 6-keto-PGF1α and 11-dehydro-TxB₂ between three groups of different dosages of aspirin, 100 mg/日, 300 mg/日, and 900 mg/日 of aspirin. These findings suggest that thromboxane A₂ may contribute to the development or progression of hypertension and artherosclerotic disease. 100 mg/ 日 of aspirin may be used as effective as 300 mg/日 or 900 mg/日 of aspirin in preventing thrombotic events.

Kaposi`s sarcoma is a rare and slowly progressive disease that primarily affects the skin but has an associated visceral involvement. It can occur in the HIV-positive patients or patients treated with immunosuppressants. However, it is extremely rare in the patients receiving the treatment for inflammatory bowel disease. We used corticosteroid for the treatment of ulcerative colitis in 60-year-old woman. Then, Kaposis`s sarcoma occured in the skin and colon of the patient. Since she was HIV-negative, we believed that it was developed from the condition of corticosteroid-induced immunosuppression. We present a case of skin and colonic Kaposi`s sarcoma in a HIV-negative woman following treatment with corticosteroid for ulcerative colitis. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2004;43:316-319)

Cytophagic histiocytic panniculitis is a histiocytic proliferative disorder characterized by the presence of fever, pancytopenia, and subcutaneous nodule resulting from the infiltration of fat and dermis by inflammatory cells and histiocytes that contain phagocytized RBC, lymphocyfes, and platelets, A 39 year-old male was admitted to the hospital because of painful subcutanenous nodules on both cheeks and abdominal wall, which had spread to both lower extremities. On the physical exam, the body temperature was 38.5℃ and the pulse was 98/min. There were tender subcutaneous nodules on both cheeks and abdomen and relatively well-defined tender erythematous subcutaneous nodules on both lower extremities. Laboratory findings revealed pancytopenia, prolongation of prothrombin time, and elevation of liver enzymes. Abdominal CT showed increased density and irregular thickening of the subcutaneous fat layer in the entire abdominal trunk. Full thickness skin biopsy of the abdominal wall revealed dense mononuclear cell infiltrate and fat necrosis, These histiocytes showed phagocytic activity including RBC, WBC, and nuclear debris with typical bean bag appearance. With 6cycles of CHOP chemotherapy, on improvement of the skin lesions and laboratory and biopsy findings was observed.

N/A Three cases of Vitamin B12 deficiency megaloblastic anemia are presented and the literature is briefly reviewed. The first 2cases were complicated with a previous gastrectomy due to stomach cancer 7 and 10 years earlier respectively, and the third case was combined with intrinsic factor deficiency and atropic gastritis. All ceses revealed anemic symptoms and peripheral neuropathy or painful beefy tongue. Laboratory findings showed markedly decreased serum Vitamin B, levels and increased LDH (with reversed subfraction; LD1>LD2). Peripheral blood and bone marrow findings were compatible with megaloblastic anemia, which included macrocytic anemia, anisocytosis, hypersegmented neutrophils, increased cellularity, decreased M:E ratio and increased iron storage. Symptomatic and hematological improvements were attained after scheduled Vitamin B therapy. But the intractable peripheral neuropathy in case 1 was not improved and the use of ganglioside was in vain.

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) rarely occurs in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), but mortality is as high as 50%. Also, AMI is a possible cause of inexplained heart failure in SLE patients. We experienced a case of AMI resulting from coronary vasculitis which was manifested by diffuse sclerotic narrowing of the coronary arteries in coronary angio-graphy in a 36-year-old male lupus patient. Man- agement by prednisolone and post-centrifugal plasma-pheresis decreased systemic symptoms, chest pain, and cardiac enzymes. Follow up coronary angiography also revealed improved sclerotic lesions in the coronary arteries, The patient iss cunently under follow-up tsectment as an out-patient for 20 months with only skin manifestation without heart symtoms.
