Digastric and stylohyoid muscles are located in the suprahyoid region. There have been few studies about the general morphology of stylohyoid muscle and its relationship with digastric muscle. During routine educational dissection, unusual insertion of bilateral stylohyoid muscle was found in the cadaver of a 92-year-old Korean male, whose cause of death was 'aspiration pneumonia'. Stylohyoid muscle arose from the styloid process, and inserted onto the intermediate tendon of digastric muscle and the hyoid bone on both sides. Each digastric muscle normally consists of an anterior belly, intermediate tendon and a posterior belly. In this cadaver, there were two anterior bellies on right side while one anterior belly was found on left side. Stylohyoid muscle ran medial to the intermediate tendon of digastric muscle on both sides. The anatomical relationship between stylohyoid and digastric muscles was reviewed based on morphological and embryological point of view.

This study was performed to evaluate the effects of the ratio of aeration/mixing time, the fill tires and the repeat cycle of aeration/mixing, for the removal of organics, nitrogen and phosphorus in sewage by sequencing batch reactor process. The results of this study were summarized as follows; (1) As the ratio of aeration/mixing time was lower and the fill time was longer, the ORP showed a greater potential difference and the pH values was maintained in a more stable state on microbes because the consumption rate of alkalinity was deceased. (2) The organics removal efficiency was increased with increasing the ratio of aeration/mixing time, the fill time and the repeat cycle of aeration/mixing, and it was the highest when the repeat cycle of aeration/mixing was 6 times/cycle. (3) The TSS removal efficiency exceeded 93% and it was not affected by the ratio of aeration/mixing time, the fill time and the repeat cycle of aeration/mixing. (4) The T-N removal efficiency was increased as the ratio of aeration/mixing time was lower and the fill time was longer. Especially, the T-N removal efficiency was the highest when the repeat cycle of aeration/mixing was 6 times/cycle. (5) The T-P removal efficiency showed a great difference in each operating condition, it was influenced greatly by the ratio of aeration/mixing time and the repeat cycle of aeration/mixing among the operating conditions, and it was the highest in the run which the denitrification rate was the highest.

This study examined the influence of according as aeration/mixing time, fill time, aeration interval with Sequencing Batch Reactor(SBR) process of laboratory scale for removal of nitrogen and phosphorus in sewage of the cheju. The experiment according to aeration/mixing time controlled in 6 hr reaction time, each 90min/270min, 180min/180min, 270min/90min, 360min/0min. At this time, fill time controlled 6 hr same the reaction time. The experiment according to fill time controlled in 6 hr reaction time, each 2, 4 and 6 hr. At this time, aeration/mixjng time controlled 90min/270min from 1st experiment. The experiment according to aeration interval processes for compare with optimum condition from 2nd experiment and just changed aeration interval in reaction time. The result of experiment when aeration/mixing time controlled 90min/270min(1/3) and fill time controlled 6hr, also a repeated operation 6 times aeration/mixing in the reaction time, was showed the best removal efficiency of organics, nitrogen and phosphorus.
