철원지역에서 재배한 양마 (Kenaf, Hibiscus cannabinus L.)의 재식거리와 품종, 수확시기에 따른 건물수량 및 사료성분의 변화

본 연구는 양마 3품종을 재식거리, 품종 및 수확시기에 따른 건물수량과 사료성분의 변화를 검토하고자 강원도 철원지역에서 2005년 5월 20일부터 2005년 9월 12일까지 수행되었다. 시험배치는 3반복 분할구 배치로 주구는 재식거리와 수확시기를, 세구는 양마 3품종(Dowling, Everglade 및 Tainung)을 배치했으며, 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 생육일수에 따른 건물생산량은 93일까지는 재식거리가 10×10㎠ 구에서 높게 나타났다. 품종별 건물생산량에서는 모든 품종이 생육시기가 진행됨에 따라 건물수량이 높아지는 경향을 보였고, 특히 Dowling이 모든 수확시기에서 가장 높은 건물생산량을 보였다. 조단백질 함량은 생육일수가 길어짐에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 특히, 생육 중기(생육일수 84일)을 기준으로 생육초기에는 조단백질 함량은 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았지만, 10×20㎠ 구에서 다소 높게 나타났다. 품종별로는 Dowling의 조단백질 함량이 다소 높은 것으로 조사되었으나, 큰 차이는 나타내지 않았다. 재식거리 및 품종에 따른 NDF와 ADF 함량의 차이는 조사된 3 품종 공히 생육시기가 지나감에 따라 다소 증가하는 경향을 보였지만, 큰 유의적 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면, 양마는 우리나라 중북부 지방에서 훌륭한 사료작물로서의 가능성이 검증되었고, 특히 Dowling 품종이 재식거리 10×10㎠로 파종하여 104일째 수확했을 때 가장 좋은 건물생산량과 품질을 보여주었다. This study was conducted to evaluate the dry matter yield and forage quality of Kenaf in relation to planting density and growing days in Cheorwon area from 20 May to 12 September in 2005. The experiment was laid out in a split plot design with three replications. The main plots consisted of planting density and growing days with three cultivars of Kenaf as sub-plots; Dowling, Everglade and Tainung. The results obtained were summarized as follows. The dry matter yield increased until 92 days after planting at 10×10㎠ planting density, but decreased after the day. The dry matter yield increased with maturity in all three cultivars, especially Dowling showed the highest dry matter yield at each harvest time. The Crude Protein (CP) contents of all three cultivars decreased with maturity. Especially, the decrease in the CP contents was greater in the early stage than in the late stage. The planting density did not affect the CP contents, even though they are little higher in 10×20㎠ planting density. The higher CP contents were observed in Dowling, which is not significant. No difference in the Neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and Acid detergent fiber (ADF) contents was observed in the planting density and cultivar, although the increasing tendency was found with maturity. These results suggest that Kenaf can be a good potential forage crop in the northern area of Korea, especially Dowling showed the great dry matter yield and forage quality when harvested on Day 104 at 10×20㎠ planting density.

목적 : 본 연구는 한국인 BRCA 유전자 돌연변이 가계구성원들을 대상으로 암진단 및 돌연변이 보유 여부가 심리 상태와 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 시행되었다. 대상 및 방법 : BRCA 유전자 돌연변이를 가진 13가계에서 암에 이환된 보인자 17명, 이환되지 않은 보인자 16명, 건강한 비보인자 13명이 본 연구의 분석에 포함되었다. 이 세 군을 대상으로 우울, 불안, 낙관, 유전성 유방암관련 지식수준과 삶의 질을 설문을 통하여 평가하였다. 결과 : 설문시기는 유전자 검사 후 평균 21개월(6-35)로 세 군 간의 차이는 없었다(P=0.254). 세 군 간의 우울, 낙관, 육체적 삶의 질은 유사했다. 불안은 세 군 모두에서 일반인보다 상승되어 있었다. 이환된 보인자의 정신적 삶의 질은 암에 이환된 보인자가 다른 두 군에 비해 유의하게 낮았다(P=0.009, P=0.017). 다변량 분석 결과 정신적 삶의 질에 영향을 미친 인자는 암이환여부(P=0.043)와 직업유무(P=0.008) 였다. 결론 : 같은 돌연변이 가계 내에서 돌연변이 유무는 우울, 불안, 낙관에서 심리적반작용을 일으키지 않았으나, 돌연변이 가계 구성원의 불안 수준은 돌연변이 유무에 관계 없이 높았다. 본 연구는 소규모 표본을 대상으로 한 단면적 연구이나, BRCA 유전자 검사에 수반될 수 있는 심리적 스트레스 및 그에 대한 대처법을 수립하는 데 기초연구로 의의를 가진다. Purpose: The aims of this study are to evaluate psychological impact and quality of life according to the cancer diagnosis and mutation status in Korean families with BRCA mutations. Materials and Methods: Seventeen affected carriers (AC), 16 unaffected carriers (UC) and 13 healthy non carriers (NC) from 13 BRCA mutation families were included in the study. Outcomes were compared with regard to depression (Beck Depression Inventory), anxiety (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, STAI), optimism (Reevaluation of the Life Orientation test, LOT-R), knowledge of hereditary ovarian cancer, and quality of life (QoL) (SF-36v2 Health Survey, physical component score [PCS], mental component score [MCS]) among three groups. Result: Level of depression, optimism, and PCS were similar in AC, UC, and NC. Anxiety score was elevated in all three groups. MCS was significantly low in AC than in UC and NC (P =0.009, P =0.017). Knowledge of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer was high in AC than NC (P =0.001). MCS was significantly related to whether patient was affected by cancer (P =0.043) and has occupation (P =0.008) or not in multivariable analysis. Conclusion: From this cross sectional study, psychological adverse effect was not related to the carrier status of BRCA mutation. Elevated anxiety in BRCA family members was observed but, independent to affection and the type of genetic mutation. AC showed low mental QoL. Further effort to understand psychological impact and QoL of genetic testing in BRCA family members is required for follow-up in clinical aspects.

The various sensor nodes operating in Ubiquitous Sensor Network environment require the tiny Operating System different from the existing pc-type operating system because of their characteristics. Also Sensor Network operating system needs to support the rapid event handling which sensor node must implement. In this paper, we overcome the drawbacks of the existing sensor network operating system and propose the new kernel which is designed to assist developer to construct event-central operating system entirely. We also evaluate the performance of the super tiny sensor network operating system based on proposed kernel, comparing with that of the existing sensor network operating system.

Recently damage of structures and loss of life by terrorism are internationally increasing. Among these terror that have a possibility to can happen in korea and that can caused lot of human life loss is the vehicle terror. To prevent the vehicle terror, the anti-ram barriers are needed. But domestic standard about anti-ram barriers are not clear. So, in this study, we will utilize and analyze the vehicle impact to evaluate the efficiency of the domestic bollard and suggest the installation standard of those. In Korea, granite, elastic, steel and stainless bollard are used. The performance of those bollard is not available. Elastic bollard couldn't stop the vehicle, and the others just could stop the vehicle only at the speed under 10kph. Therefore, set the variable to reinforce, and evaluate the defence efficiency of bollard. As a result, granite and elastic bollard was not suitable for the anti-ram barriers. Performance of steel bollard increased as thickness grew. So steel bollard should must be thicker than 10T. And the concrete compressive strength effected insignificantly on the defence efficiency, so more than 24MPa compressive concrete be used. Performance of stainless bollard increased as thickness grew. So stainless bollard should must be thicker than 13T.

Adenoma of the nipple (AN) is an uncommon benign tumor of the breast. This tumor usually arises from the lactiferous ducts of the nipple. The common clinical findings are unilateral serosanguinous discharge with crust and a palpable nodule in the nipple. The symptoms and signs of AN are similar to those of Paget’s disease and this confusion sometimes leads to unnecessary mastectomy. Thus performing careful clinical and histological examinations along with radiologic investigations are very important for the proper management of AN. This tumor is usually treated by total excision of the nipple. We report here on two cases of AN in two women who presented with red swelling, serosanguinous discharge and erosion of the nipple. We successfully managed them with partial excision or total excision along with reconstruction. Although AN is a relatively rare disease, surgeons should keep the diagnosis in mind for the proper management of this disease.

The blast analysis is limited to unit members because of its long analysis time. So this paper proposes the effective modeling and simulation technique for blast and collapse analysis of steel frame. In this study, analysis for static and blast load are performed with three kinds of elements such as solid element, plate element and thick plate element. Then, the most efficient element for blast and collapse analysis is determined by comparing the reliability of the results and calculation time. Also, quasi-static is applied to the analysis that has to be carried out by the static and dynamic analysis. The analytical models are the beam(H-294x200x8x12) and column(H-200x200x8x12). As the result, a thick plate element is most efficient for blast analysis. Through this way, blast and collapse analysis are simulated with the imaginary steel frame.
