High-$T_c$ superconducting (HTSC) power cable is one of the interesting parts in power application using HTSC wire. However, its stacked structure makes the current distribution between conducting layers non-uniform due to difference between self inductances of conducting layers and mutual inductances between two conducting layers, which results in lower current transmission capacity of HTSC power cable. In this paper, the transport current distribution between conducting layers was investigated through the numerical analysis for the equivalent circuit of HTSC power cable with a shield layer, and compared with the case of without a shield layer. The transport current distribution due to the increase of the contact resistance in each layer was improved. However, its magnetization loss increased as the contact resistance increased. It was confirmed from the analysis that the shield layer was contributed to the improvement of the current distribution between conducting layers if the winding direction and the pitch length were properly chosen.
용융온도와 유지시간이 용융법으로 제작한 고온초전도체의 임계특성에 미치는 영향

The effects of melting temperature and holding time on the critical current density($J_c$) of $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$ based superconducting bulk fabricated by MPMG process were investigated. The amount of the formed $Y_2BaCuO_5$ phases increased with the melting temperature. However, the value of critical current density was highest at 1120 $^{\circ}C$. With this proper melting temperature, the effect of holding time on the critical characteristics was also investigated. In the case of Ag addition, the volume of the formed $Y_2BaCuO_5$ phase when the amount of Ag addition was 10 wt% and 20 wt% was observed to be highest at 20 minute and 40 minute respectively. But in the specimen without Ag, volume of $Y_2BaCuO_5$ phase increased as the holding time increased. The proper melting temperature and the holding time obtained were 1120 $^{\circ}C$ and 20 minute. The long holding time was not effective for the $J_c$ improvement as well as the formation of $Y_2BaCuO_5$.

YBa_2Cu_3O_x bulks were fabricated by MPMG(Melt Powdered melt Growth). As the initial compositions, the rations of mixed powders were prepared as follow; YBa_2Cu_3O_x : Y_2BaUcO_5 = 1:0, 1:0.2, 1:0.3, 1:0.4 After the first cooling, Ag powders with 5wt%, 10wt%, 15wt% and 20wt% were added to the obtained powders, respectively. The critical current densities on the differential amount of y_2BaCuO_5 and Ag addition for YBa_2Cu_3O_x were investigated. Those of bulks increased with increasing the amount of Y_2BaCuO_5 and Ag. The critical current density of the bulk of 1 : 0.4 higher 7 times than that of pure Y_1Ba_2Cu_3O_x smaple.
